Sent in a Maytronics pool cleaning robot for warranty service. Maytronics supplied the incorrect serial number on the work order, and they initially could not complete the repair job because of that. I had to act as a go between to solve the issue and get the correct serial number to Shav-Tronics. I spent hours on the phone with Maytronics over the course of days. Shav-Tronics made no attempt to communicate directly with Maytronics and sort the situation out. After I found and supplied the correct serial number in my records, the repair was completed and the robot was sent back to me. That's not the end of it. Not only did Maytronics enter the incorrect serial number, but also input the wrong address on the work order. Fedex only allows the shipper to amend the address. I called Shav-Tronics and Paul, who I believe is the owner, said it was my fault the address was incorrect and was not willing to help. After this he said he hoped he never heard from me again. This left me having to get Fedex management involved in correcting the address. Between Maytronics & Shav-Tronics this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Stay far away from this repair facility if possible. read more

Excellent service. Sent my Dolphin pool vacuum in for repair. I shipped it on a Tuesday from California, they received it on Thursday and shipped it back to me the next day on Friday. I had it back in my pool on Sunday as good as new. Couldn't be more impressed with their service. read more

These people were super nice. I came in with my handheld Dyson with a question of is it worth it to fix this or buy a new one. They looked at it, diagnosed the problem, and had a quick fix (replace the filters). They also were helpful about teaching me about Dyson care -- I didn't know the back filter needed to be cleaned -- I had cleaned the top one. That was a super easy fix and much cheaper than a new Dyson at Costco. read more

Was given this company's contact information when calling around to get my Kitchen Aid mixer fixed. First initial call was great. Talked with John and he assured me that he probably could fix it (bent arm on the power piece). Wife took it down; cost $40 for them to look at it. Fixed it and total was $100 minus the $40 estimate cost. Took just a couple of days and the mixer works perfect. At pick-up, John told my wife that he put in a new speed handle and he also fixed a couple of other little things, including cleaning it up in the inside. Was so glad to have a perfect working mixer again! Fabulous work and customer service and will use again if needed! read more

Kitchenaid mixer needed help, it is 15 years old and fell apart. Shav-tronics rebuilt my mixer in 1 day, they have all the parts in stock. Very professional place, hope to use them again in the future. Mixer is as good as new now. Thanks for your help read more

Gentlemen at the counter were very helpful and friendly. Great service, shop is very clean. I brought my favorite, older than dirt (!) Bissell vacuum cleaner to be repaired. How old you say? It's so old, they no longer make the parts for it and unfortunately they were unable to repair it. Shavetronics did clean out my old vacuum, tightened up everything as part of their thorough inspection---At no charge! They weren't able to fix/replace the bottom brush but I felt they took the time to communicate what was going on. Sign of good customer service in my opinion! I also took over a KitchenAid mixer which for some reason stopped spinning. It works perfectly again and it again returned much cleaner than when I dropped it off. Highly recommend! read more

Outstanding customer service! I was so impressed with the courtesy and kindness I received. I know nothing about vacuums. So the staff could have smirked at me or taken advantage of me. Instead they kindly pointed out the problems, repaired a 20+ year old vacuum which worked like new this morning and pulled an 8 inch hair clog from a little portable vacuum which they technically don't service. They even carried the vacuums out to put them in the car trunk for me. The company name is a bit mis-leading. They sell vacuums, robotic vacuums, Kitchen Aid mixers and all kinds of shaving gear. And HEPA vacuum bags! The store is worth a visit! read more

I wish I could give Shav-Tronics more than 5 stars. They came highly recommended by my pool cleaning company (who has been in business for well over 20 years). My neighbor had an impossibly complex robotic Dolphin pool cleaner that would turn on and quit after 10 seconds. I researched everything I could find online and nothing worked. Brought it down to Shav-Tronics and explained the predicament. My neighbor had just lost his wife and is blind and I am just trying to help him out as much as I can. Money is tight because, well...it's 2020 after all. They were incredibly helpful and understanding. Long story short, they were able to warranty the repair and replaced not only the issue but other parts to make it work like new. I am beyond grateful to have found them and very much appreciate their knowledge, professionalism, and their willingness to go above and beyond. read more

The guys were great. My Dyson stopped working on my and they had everything fixed and ready to go within 25 hrs.

So my electric back hair shaver (aka MANGROOMER Do-It-Yourself Electric Back Hair Shaver) was on the fritz and boy was my back getting a little to "Robin William's" like and I couldn't stand it any longer. I had to get it fixed! This place can repair any type of shaving device, add new blades, or they even sell you a new one if needed. They also sell and repair small appliances, vacuum cleaners, coffee pots, and blenders. ---Really I just come here to get the blade and foil replaced on my razor. Let me start by saying what a terrific store this is! I had an appliance that broke in the fall and nobody seemed to be able to repair it. Shav-Tronics was able to get my machine back in working order in spite of them not even carrying the brand of my appliance. I just brought the replacement part to them and the very next day I received a call notifying me it was ready to be picked up!. A hearty thank to these guys! After having a problem with my Dyson vacuum not sucking when I used the attachment I made a call into Dyson customer service. I followed their instructions, and pretty near took the whole vacuum apart trying to find an obstruction. After all this failed to fix my sucking problem, they referred me to Shav-Tronics an authorized Dyson repair shop. I called them on Monday and spoke with Steve who told me I could bring my vacuum and there would be a $30 diagnostic charge (applied to the repair). I brought the vacuum in Tues. morning, Steve plugged it in and said there was a problem with a switch somewhere and they would call by Friday with the problem and an estimate. Living with 3 cats, I use my vacuum daily, so I was a little annoyed it would take so long to just figure out what the problem was! (This is why only 4 stars not 5). He said he would call me if they could get to it sooner. Not having any other options, I left the vacuum and hoped for sooner rather than later. Thurs. afternoon Steve called to say the problem was a switch, it would be $66 plus change and would be ready first thing Fri. morning. Sounds good so I authorized the repair. The vacuum was ready, but I'm glad I asked Steve to double check, because he had to make an adjustment on the switch for it to work properly. I asked him to elaborate on the problem and his repair on the receipt so I could submit it to Square Trade for reimbursement. (I love SquareTrade warranties!) I love my Dyson and it's now sucking from the floor and the attachment and I'm one happy camper. I'd for sure go back here again! read more

They replaced the coupler on my blender for $10 when other shops quoted me $35+ (I provided the part). The technician did it right there on the spot in just a few minutes. He also stayed open a few minutes passed their normal hours because I called and said I was very close but delayed by traffic. I think that is about as good as customer service gets. I will come back if I need an appliance serviced again. Note to the owner - this shop is excellent but extremely difficult to find unless you already know about it. It does not come up at all when you google "small appliance repair" or "kitchen aid repair" - but a bunch of shops that don't service small appliances or kitchen aids do. I think investing in search engine optimization (SEO) and maybe yelp advertising would make it much easier for customers to find you! read more

Dropped off my DYSON vacuum cleaner for maintenance and they called 2 days later and had it fixed! It was covered under warranty but still happy they were able to take care of it immediately They also sell refurbished stand mixers, parts and vacuum cleaners. read more

I stopped in today with a broken KitchenAid blender. The gentleman took care of this very promptly and for a reasonable price. I had used them some years back for another repair--glad I came back. I recently purchased a pre-owned KitchenAid mixer model # K5ss that I wanted to have serviced. After a couple of phone calls I found exactly what I needed at Shav-Tronics. A small family owned business that was very familiar with vintage KichenAid mixers. I dropped off my as found mixer on a Saturday and received a pleasant phone call on Monday morning telling me my mixer wound be ready by 1pm. Pleasant people and great service, that's what it's all about folks, every detail from the time I first spoke to them on the phone til I left the next Saturday with my newly serviced and clean mixer was perfect. Dyson paid to have my item fixed this place was the closet authorized fixer. Poor customer service i called them a week after i dropped off the vacuum just for the guy to say that they had to order a part and it would be at least 10 more days. Honestly it is free I do not really care how long it takes but call the customer and let them know what is going on do not just call them 3 weeks later and say ok your item is ready for pick up. Rating is for overall POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This is a small store that specializes in household appliances and equipment and has competent sales people. But their prices are outrageous. I wanted a replacement for my Braun 7 shaver head. They quoted over $60. I found it at Best Buy for a little over $40. I understand that to exist small stores need to charge higher mark ups than big ones. But this is too much! read more

This store saved my Thanksgiving! My 17 year old Kitchenaid mixer stopped spinning and I thought all we needed was to replace the worm gear. DIY isn't always reliable. After not being able to figure out what else was wrong I decided to bring it to the store less than a week before Thanksgiving in the hopes that I'd be able to get it back in time. I dropped it off at noon on Friday and within 3 hours received a call that it would be ready the next morning along with my 15 year old vacuum that needed work as well! I could've easily been talked into a new vacuum, and told my old one was broken or needed a lot of repair. However, I was simply sold a $5 belt and shown where the vacuum had a couple of major clogs. Old fashioned honesty, good nature, and looking out for the interest of a customer who would've willingly and unknowingly spent a lot more money goes a long way in my book. I took my KitchenAid food processor to Shav Tronics in Tempe for repair. They are an authorized manufacturer repair business for several major appliance, vacuum, and pool equipment companies. A very kind gentleman assisted me. Unfortunately, his name escapes me at the moment, but he has helped me on several other occasions over the years with that same KitchenAid food processor and also my Dyson vacuum. He spent around 10 minutes checking out the appliance. He plugged it in and tinkered with it a bit. He then suggested that I might indeed need a new part, but he encouraged me to first take it home and soak the lid portion in warm water, as he thought perhaps something sticky had gotten inside causing it to malfunction. I thanked him for his advice and asked him what I owed him for his time. He smiled and said I owed nothing. The icing on the cake is that his advice worked. I took it home and soaked the lid in hot water for 10 minutes, popped it back on the food processor, and the unit worked like it was brand new. What a joy to be able to do business with such a company of such integrity. I will be recommending Shav Tronics to my family and friends. And, of course, I will be returning to Shav Tronics in Tempe for future needs. read more

Brought in a Dolphin DX-4 pool cleaner that is 3 years old (a week out of warranty) and Paul took care of registering it with Maytronics picking up the tab to fix the unit. Purchasing a new one is around $1K, so getting it fixed under warranty was fantastic. They also replaced the brushes and belts for a nominal fee. Super happy. Thanks Shavtronics! read more

I remember when these guys first started as the base of Camelback towers in uptown downown phoenix off central ave just south of canelback i used to live in the highrise and thats when i discovered these guys. Then they relocated to northern i believe and now in tempe. All i can say is these guys know electronics from super old vintage as is their specialty to current new electronics. They are hands down the guys to go to for buying anything and most importantly any repair they will fix it. They have been in the business since its started and thats pretty cool to know you will be in good hands. They are honest, perfectionist and educated to get the job done the first time. If your contemplating going somewhere else you will be making a HUGE mistake.. I PROMOSE YOU that. I personally have used them for many of my panasonic and braun self cleaning shavers being repaired for parts and service and have always delivered superior quality service and nothing less..
