Tiger Appliance Repair was recommended by Bosch Customer Service as an authorized Bosch repair service to fix my Bosch Microwave. As a follow up, I received an email with the Tiger Appliance Repair contact, a case number an a discount for my case. I called Tiger Appliance Repair. To my surprise, they quoted $225 just for the visit, not applicable to the work to be performed. When I asked about the initial $225 not applicable to the cost of the work, the justification that they gave me on the phone was "Bosch is a high end, they are very expensive". I thought the travel and quoting has nothing to do with a brand name, although repair services and spare parts, yes, it is expected. Regarding the discount offered in the email, they were not interested to hear my case number; they said they have no discount, only a coupon of $20 in their website, applicable to the work being done. Not very polite either, I was disappointed of the Customer Service, not what I was expecting from Bosch. read more

Super quick fix for our speed queen washer with excellent customer service. We use Tiger for all our appliance repairs

Called for service on Viking refrigerator not cooling. Tech came on Monday. The tech charged me $189 fee for coming out and said they would order part. Friday the office called and said they could order part for $350 deposit. Next Friday they called to say the part was in. So now 2 weeks with no refrigerator. Monday the tech came, installed the fan and left. It didn't work still. I called the office and they said they have an appointment 2 weeks later. I called a different company , they came right out, had the fan in his truck and fixed it. I talked to the customer service manager with no success. So Ive paid $189, $350 deposit to Tiger and $416 to the new company to fix it. Their customer service is terrible and they can't fix a simple fan. I told my building to remove them from the preferred vendors but they already had because of other complaints. Don't go through the brain and wallet damage. read more

Wonderful experience. I was without a washer for about a week and it was an experience going to the laundromat. However, Tiger Mechanical and their technician were very upfront with repairs and they communicated everything with me beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. They were on time and repaired my machine promptly. The Technician left everything nice and clean and took all the old parts and the delivery boxes with him. Confirmed leak. The parts that I provided was a brand new kit from Homedepot. Either way it clearly wasn't tested. The reason for the lapse in time, which whoever I spoke to on the phone ignored, is because... It was hooked up, the property was left empty for months and upon it being checked on, it smelled heavily of propane. I had them shut off the gas and now I am finally out here to trouble shoot myself. As you can see from the photo there is no way this was tested. We had tiger mechanical come out for 2 different issues at our new build home - our oven and installing a conversion kit on our stove. Dan was on time and able to fix the oven and install the conversion kit. Tiger Mechanical had a great communication about when the back ordered GE parts would arrive and scheduled service after the parts came in. I had purchased my washer/dryer combo from Home Depot, when repairs were needed before the first year was up, I contacted the manufacturer and was directed to schedule through this company for repairs. Their system could use some improvements when you get reminder text/emails to confirm they do not link with their system and they call you. The employees that operate their call center are very difficult to hear and their system cuts out a lot. The quality of the technician David was excellent. He lives in my area, was respectful of my property and my time, he was never late. If I could have hired him directly and left the company out to have a more enjoyable experience I would have preferred that. I won't go out of my way to use this company on my own, I will only do use them out of purchase requirements and to not have to pay out of pocket for a covered repair. read more

Tiger Mechanical came out to repair my washer. It was still under warranty. They came out very promptly to assess the problem, ordered parts had the delivered directly to my house. Then returned, and installed the parts with in a couple weeks and it was completely covered under warranty. which was less time the other companies we spoke with could even make it out to take a look at our washer. I am very satisfied with the quality of the job they did. The tech that came to do the repair, Terry was very skilled, informative, helpful, knowledgeable, and polite They made the problem I had as easy to deal with as possible. I can't imagine a worse company to deal with. I paid for $189 for their technician to tell me that my high end Asko dishwasher needed a new pump and clamps. He gave me an estimate of $849. A new machine is $950. He wanted $550 for parts...Asko charges $220. I got my own parts and they still demanded an additional $525 for labor. Proceed at your own caution. Update: After I posted my review, the company reached back out and was suddenly willing to come back out and fix what they left incomplete. They tried to claim that this part just "fell off" after all the work was done, which is untrue, because parts fall DOWN, not up and neatly into drawers. And even if it could have been true, that means the tech did a poor job either inspecting and diagnosing the first time, or quality control checking the repair. Either way, he came back, ordered more parts and came back today to install. My husband facilitated the meeting this time so he didn't know to check this guy's work. I opened the drawer tonight to load the dishwasher, and the SAME part is LYING IN THE DRAWER (see second pic-the long arm piece just lying down). In this case, I think it's the old one that he took off because the other one is installed in place on the other side, but his quality control REALLY sucks. The young man that came to the house to provide service for our double oven did an outstanding job. He was courteous, efficient, and professional. Tiger Mechanical was contacted to perform warranty service for my GE dryer. On the first visit he diagnosed the problem and was aware of a recent GE bulletin covering the dryers exact problem. He ordered the necessary parts and returned to fix the dryer once the parts arrived. Service tech was friendly, on time, and able to solve the problem quickly. read more

Service department was very responsive in setting up an appointment to get our dryer fixed. A part had to be ordered and came in much sooner than expected. No Show - No Call I called GE Maintenance and was referred to Tiger Mechanical in Mesa, Arizona. I called them on a Friday (2/23) and after a bit of discussion, was told their repairman would be at our house on Monday (2/26) . 8a-1p .. At 10:37 on 2/26, I received an email requesting I call them and make an appointment (?) so I called - no one answered the phone. At 4:30pm they called me with nothing but excuses, like it was my fault, wanting to schedule another appointment for the following day. The young woman I spoke to refused to acknowledge their screwup and "wanted to move forward". I told her to cancel the whole thing as I had already wasted half a day waiting for them. Considering their trip fee is $129, I expected a better response. They certainly didn't leave me with a lot of confidence and will never do business with people like this. read more

We had an outstanding experience with Tiger Mechanical in repairing our refrigerator. The tech was on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary replacement part on the spot, and left the house spotless! Once the part came in, the same technician came back to our house and was able to quickly finish the job. The facts-It took two weeks for them to show up, then another 3 weeks to get a written estimate. 5 weeks for something that many other companies have done in 2-3 days. That does not even include getting my oven fixed, 5 weeks for just getting a proper quote. The tech said he would have to pull the double oven out to fix it which is why he had over $200 of additional labor. I now know that appears to be incorrect as I was able to do the entire repair with basically one tool, a "screw" driver in less than hour. They say they give "credit" for the service call of $186 for coming out and diagnosing the issue, but it appears all they do is add it your bill. So they wanted over $1100 for about 1 hour of labor and about $600 in parts. Even with the new parts installed, the problem still exists. Overall in my opinion, Tiger Mechanical is very slow, very very expensive and not good customer service on the phone/email as well. Highly recommend NOT using them. read more

When we asked their repairman what caused the problem with our Speed Queen washing machine he said "everything humans make break" and talked about plastic and a small screw. Apparently he told Speed Queen that we overload the machine (since there were no clothes in the machine and we never discussed anything about load size, I'm not sure how he came to that conclusion) and now they won't honor the warranty. My fridge that is 2 months old has a horrible chemical smell that started out of nowhere a week ago. The repairman who did not introduce himself arrived this morning. He opened the door, said he could not smell anything, closed the door and said there was nothing wring. He left after 5 minutes. Don't waste your time with this place. UPDATE: Supervisor called and basically accused my father and I of lying....said the repairman opened the door and pulled fridge away from the wall...basically that is all they can do. Said he would have appreciated a phone call before i posted reviews--ignored our response that we called twice after being "hung up on" the first time . After a frustrating nonproductive conversation he recommended that we call an authorized Refridigdaire company... Seriously don't bother with this company...skip the frustration and call someone who is "authorized" to help. read more

Beware of this business at all costs! Our 1k GE washer was sounding off balance and wasn't rinsing well so I filed a request to have someone look at it through GE's website. I use my machine for at least 10 cycles a week, but the issues were bothersome since this is such an expensive washer. I originally scheduled for a day I planned to work from home due to another scheduled appointment since I report to an office and working from home typically isn't an option. I should have been concerned when Tiger Mechanical automatically rescheduled me for a week later. Begrudgingly, I made arrangements to work from home again since the window I was provided was 12-5. After waiting until after 3pm, the technician showed up and was anything but pleasant. He looked annoyed to have to work and did not ask anything about the issues I was having. This was concerning, so I mentioned a couple of the issues and he rolled his eyes and said, "yeah, that's what happens with these machines." He also said the issues are notoriously hard to diagnose but he would try. He pulled out a little probe-like device and asked for space to work. I went in the other room and he never tried to turn on or test the machine. The technician proceeded to make loud sighs and take a brief personal phone call, but never did any tests on my machine. After 5 minutes, he said he needed to order parts that were on back order and didn't have a time frame. He never mentioned my machine was now completely broken, despite working less than an hour prior to his arrival. Tiger Mechanical's incompetent technician with a terrible attitude broke my 1k washing machine. When I contacted the company to express my extreme frustration and concern, nothing was offered in terms of rectifying the problem in a timely manner. I am now stuck with no washing machine until GE can come with an actual GE technician a week from now. read more
