Called Friday morning and the receptionist was amazing and got someone to our house that morning. Full diagnostic told us the compressor went bad. Our unit was 13 years old, so it was about time for a new system. We decided to replace whole system as replacing a compressor is quite expensive basically half the cost of a new one. Mike came that night to price out a new system. I got two quotes from other companies. But decided on Shanahan because of their reputation, service as well as pricing. Talked with Mike and Conner (the owner) about our options and they came on a Saturday to install even though they didn't have an opening until Thursday. The owner himself came with a couple guys and replaced our system. They were very polite, did excellent work and we were back up and running. Plus they had very affordable pricing. These guys care! Use 'em. We loved our experience from start to finish!

Separately, I used them for plumbing, specifically replacing a sink faucet, repairing a garbage disposal, and repairing a leaky shower fixture. I was very pleased with this service as well. Especially the garbage disposal because all it needed was a minor turn of a crank to loosen it up instead of a full replacement, which saved me a significant amount of money. I have an older central air unit with the AC on the roof and the fan in my crawl space. He got in the crawl space and figured it out. Almost more importantly he explained exactly what was wrong. I had water in the pan... why? The fan died. So my unit was freezing the dead fan & when it thawed, the water would fill the pan, set off the sensor and kill the power. Also, my unit is old. I bought the house 7 years ago and the AC was already there. I know the last owner. He didn't install it either. Ben got the right motor in 1 day. The price was perfect. I googled the motor price and he charged me the bottom dollar. I even had him over to flush the coil 2-days later. That alone would be ok, but at every turn R&B tried to pass the blame and assumed zero responsibility for any of the issues. Additionally their billing is unreliable, causing more hassle with sorting through old invoices to see what has been paid and what has not. I will not be using them again. Note: Every technician and installer that came out for this project was always professional and knowledgeable. The issues I had were with the managers, the estimators/contract reps, and the back office.
