Gave me a cost to repair that was well beyond my budget and they fully understood. Would be cheaper to purchase a new machine. But with this knowledge, and quick google search and some YouTube videos I was able to replace these dampers for less than $50 doing it myself. I think Appliance ER's diagnostic fee ($110) added value, and with a little additional work I was able to fix the issue myself.

We had a blocked drain line that a contracted (wasn't a direct employee of Appliance ER) technician came out to fix. He was very rough trying to get the lower drawers out of our fridge, Marring the interior of our top of the line Kitchen aid. Not to mention he was much more expensive than another repair we had used this same company for which took much much more time and more parts. we were happy with the care and cost of the previous repair (done by an actual appliance ER employee). Trying to get a fix is like pulling teeth and even when getting insurance information for a claim we are getting incorrect information and "not enough" or not correct information per the insurance company. Several months later I give up and am writing reviews of our bad experience. With all of this said, make sure you have documentation of your condition of appliance before time and ask for an estimate ahead of time being that apparently it can vary WILDLY!

They value repair above replacement, even for older units. They repaired my no-name (Hotpoint) dishwasher from 1995, repairing an entire mechanism part and various seals. They came and repaired my garbage disposal, and because the repair was so simple (stuck piece of old plastic), they did not want to charge me the full price. This was such an honest gesture. Their service is so reasonably priced as it is. I know that if I have any more appliance issues or general handyman work that I need done, Medvedkov is on the top of my list of folks to call. Thanks again to Artem, Vlad, and the dispatch team. You guys are fantastic and I wish you all the best.

I contacted Ben's Appliance about my leaking refrigerator and communicated with Elizabeth via text,…read morephotos, and several phone calls to diagnose the issue. I was given a tentative diagnosis and an estimated cost via text. When Ben came to do the repair, I was not home, but my mother was present. After the work was completed, my mother called to inform me of the total cost, which was double the estimate I was provided. I asked to speak with Ben to ask for clarification. As soon as I expressed my concern, Ben became highly agitated and began yelling, claiming the higher cost was due to taking everything apart. I had to ask him to stop shouting at me because I was simply trying to understand the charges, not to avoid payment. I also told him that I felt he should have discussed and explained what the problem was and the cost before the repair began, especially given the significant deviation from the estimate. When I told him what I was quoted, he said it was wrong and that he would "chastize" her later. After we hung up, he continued yelling at my mother in our home, then slammed the door after being paid. Once I reviewed the receipt, I noticed the reason the price was different was due to a "service fee". Not the additional labor cost to take everything apart, as Ben mentioned. Elizabeth was actually in the ballpark with the cost for the "repair". She just failed to mention the fee for them to come out. I called Elizabeth to provide feedback and to ask why this fee wasn't disclosed upfront. She said it wasn't mentioned because I "never asked." I guess I wasn't specific enough when I asked how much it would cost for them to come out and fix it. She then put me on speaker, and Ben again became defensive, yelling, and calling me a clown before abruptly ending the call. I understand that estimates can change, but fixed fees should be disclosed and discussed upfront. Treating a PAYING customer disrespectfully when requesting clarification is entirely unacceptable. I caution anyone considering Ben's Appliance.
