Definitely understand what others have said about the owner's lack of customer service prowess. Experienced a testy response to a very simple question. Suppose it was at least better to find out in advance...Will be avoiding. read more

A first class service if you have a problem with your washing machine or dryer. Darrell is very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. He arrived early was exceptionally neat and clean and most reasonable for the services performed. Gib - Castle Rock, CO read more

Absolutely the best you can imagine. I called Darrell this morning at 8:00 AM, he was at my house by 9:00, and the problem diagnosed and fixed by 9:45. Super professional and extremely knowledgeable, he knew exactly the problem with the dryer without even having to take it apart. Even better, I was stuck on a work telecon the entire time, and he came in, did the work, collected payment, etc. totally respecting the fact that i was stuck on this call in the background the whole time. Simply outstanding! read more

I didn't actually have Darrell come out, but I was impressed that when I called to make an appointment he told me to first try a trick to reset my dryer. It worked, so I didn't have to spend money on an unnecessary maintenance call. Next time I do need an appliance fixed, I'm definitely calling Appliance Medic! read more

I just gave Appliance Medic a call and inquired about a repair to our fridge. The person on the phone didn't seem to care to help me. He asked me what model our fridge was - I told him and he said they do work on them. However, when I began to try to ask about at date/time to have them come out - preferably evening, he responded with "What do you mean evening?" I let him know I was looking their hours - looking like they were till 7pm. He corrected me and said those were office hours. The hours for a repair at our home were only till 5pm. I said okay and no response. There was no attempt provide any further information. Not impressed at all... I will continue looking for someone who wants my business. read more

Darrell of Appliance was friendly and responsive... he was available for a same day appointment and arrived on-time. We were pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. In our case he advised against repairing the appliance which was what we suspected would be the verdict. Would definitely use him again! read more

The customer apparently is not always right with these folks. They must have enough business that they've started becoming rude in their phone dealings with potential customers. Will take our repair needs elsewhere. read more

Darryl JUST left, and I'm making sure I write a nice review before I forget. :) Our GE side-by-side went caput on us the other day - and I found great reviews about this company on Google. I called and he was at our door within 20 minutes! Apparently it was the 'computer' (It controls both freezer & frig) and the fix was $388 - I felt it was too high and passed on the service. This really happened.....Darryl left, I called my Hub who said 'it's OK to accept the service', Called Darryl back immediately, he turned around and returned to finish the job, without making fun of me. :) In the end, $388 is high for a quick fix, but it's MUCH cheaper than buying a $1,000 new frig! Darryl was professional, explained what he had to do, and gave me great advice when the time comes to actually 'look' for a new refrigerator. We'll be calling him again since our GE apps keep dying on us little by little (they're about 10yrs old). read more

The owner of this repair service is extremely knowledgeable and reasonable. My GE Twin Chill, French Door refrigerator suddenly started freezing food and continued to do so even when I turned the regulator up to 41 degrees. Within less than one hour, he diagnosed and dissembled the unit and replaced the fan which had a short in the electrical connection. read more

Called first thing Monday morning for a dryer issue. Darrell was able to take care of the issue, the very same day. Excellent customer service and representation. Would definitely call if we ever have an issue with any appliance. Highly recommend. read more

Did a good job repairing our dryer. He was able to make it same day we called. He charges about$50 to show up but if he does the job that $50 gets taken out of total bill. We pay $79 total to have out dryer repaired. read more

I called for a washer repair and Darrell was able to instruct me how to fix it myself. His instruction was spot on and I was able to fix it and save money. He was also available to come the same day if I needed. I was amazed someone was able to give up a service call and the $$ that would have come with it. Truly a man of integrity. Appliance Medic is now our appliance repair company for life! read more

My dryer went kaput last night so I called Darrell Carey and he fit me into his busy schedule. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in less than an hour. I would highly recommend the Appliance Medic! read more

Technician is very friendly and prompt. However, there is quite a mark up on parts and service rates can be exorbitant. Microwave turntable motor went out. Was told the part was "very expensive" ahead of time and billed $235 to replace. Part is only $21 online and at local parts house in Denver. $200/hr for labor is a bit hard to swallow and I'm a physician. New microwave would have been just a few dollars more. If you need prompt reliable service, they can help, but expect to pay dearly for it. read more

called because I thought my movers had discarded my washer drain hose and my dryer needed a new plug ,,,called appliance medic and with a few simple instructions over the phone I got it handled. Saved me a service call. Only appliance repair company I'll call. read more

My clothes dryer stopped heating and at first I turned to google to tell me how I could fix it myself. Well, as with any appliance, it gets significantly more complicated than one would think or hope. So, I called Appliance Medic this morning, among other places, to get someone out to fix my clothes dryer. I always want to go local if possible and of the three places I called, Darryl was local and could come out the same day. Not only that but the trip charge for trouble shooting was lower than the others. Darryl called 15 minutes early to let me know he would be to my home at the agreed to time. I glanced out the window and saw he was parked outside so I called and let him know early was OK. I really appreciated the consideration he gave me when trying to maintain our appointment time. At that point it was to the dryer. He took it apart and found the problem quickly and luckily had the parts in his truck (apparently it's a pretty common part so I'm glad he keeps a stock). All said and done, he was here for 45 minutes, extremely cordial and willing to discuss the process as he was repairing. To top it all off, the bill was less than he estimated over the phone. Not too sure about you, but my experience is that these guys usually come in and tell you, oops, it's going to be more expensive. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Thanks Appliance Medic and owner operator Darryl. Great service, great price, I hope I never have to call again but next time I won't have to do any research. read more

Very happy with the service. It seems this is a local gent who has his own business. He has fixed our refrigerator and our stove. Both prompt and reasonable. He diagnosed both issues right off the back .Recommend without hesitation. read more

I called Appliance Medic for repair on my HE front load washer. He offered to come out that afternoon or first thing in the morning. When Darryl arrived, he was very honest (hard to find these days in a repair company) and said that my washer didn't actually have a problem. I then asked him, since he was already there, to check out my water and ice dispenser in my refrigerator/freezer. He looked at my ice maker and pulled out a little plastic piece that was causing the ice maker to not work and after checking out my water dispenser, suggested I change my water filter. He suggested that I go to Home Depot and even told me how much I should expect to pay for it. After all of this, he only charged me for the service call, about $50! He was very nice and very honest! I will call Appliance Medic from now on for any appliance repair! read more

Really, really impressed with Darrell. He explained the issue with my fridge, explained the options and had everything repaired in less than 45 minutes. Same day service as well. Excellent! read more

My GE Double Oven stopped heating again so I called Appliance Medic and Daryll was able to come out that same afternoon. This time, it was a different problem , but he discovered the what had caused the problem in about 15 minutes and it required pulling the oven out of the wall to replace an electrical wire that had become frayed. He not only replace that wire, but the adjacent one as well and put shielding around them to insure it wouldn't happen again. Because he had previously fixed it for another electrical problem, he did this repair at NO CHARGE. He is very competent, prompt (shows up when he tells you he will be there) and reasonable considering his skill level. I would recommend him highly. read more

Darryl's awesome!! He fixed our washer in 5 minutes. Thanks Darryl

This guy is great... Darrell is very professional and looks out for the best interest of his customers. I had an issue with a garbage disposal and Darrell thought nothing of helping me work through it and saving money. He also came out an helped me with my fridge in the past and provided excellent service at a very reasonable rate. You won't go wrong with Appliance Medic... read more

My dryer stopped working last week. After several attempts to repair the machine myself, with limited expertise in appliance repair, I called Appliance Medic. The technician was very friendly and helped me troubleshoot over the phone. He came out within 2 hours of the call and determined the problem within 10 minutes of his arrival. The problem was the computer in the unit. He told me that he could repair it for $450, but that I could probably buy the part and do it myself for much cheaper. I appreciate his honesty and advice so much. In the end, I paid him a little over $50 to tell me how to fix my problem. Sears wanted 3x that much, just to come out and their earliest appointment was 10 days away. Guaranteed when I find a problem I can't fix, he'll be my first call. Highly recommended. read more
