The tech comes out, says they'll recommend a replacement and then do not update the warranty company for weeks at end. They lie that parts have been approved and just wait for weeks till you have to personally call back. 5 months of this - and finally they put the comment saying customer refused senior tech service. Had the customer service rep tell me to stay on hold and cut the call on me multiple times. And when you call back, numbers are disengaged. Run the other way when these people get your ticket. I'm reporting this business to the better business bureau but want to warn anyone considering hiring them of their lack of integrity and their scams. They sent a gentleman to repair our dishwasher by the name of Roberto. He (while watching instructional videos to do his job) didn't shut off the water hose properly and flooded our kitchen damaging our wood floors. When our home warranty company reached out to resolve this issue (which their new inexperienced hire caused) they are now claiming this was "prior damage" on our new home. Beware. I can confirm with all of the other 1 star reviews on here, Appliance Guard Pro is not a reputable company. Had an issue with the motor in my dishwasher, reached out to my home warranty company, they dispatched AGP. A technician came and swapped out the motor, but did not put the drawers back together properly and now they are too low and misaligned. I hadn't noticed right away about the drawers until a few days later when I went actually run the dishwasher with a full load of dishes. I was told that if anything goes wrong within 30 days from the OG appoint day, that I can reschedule and someone would come out to fix it if need be. I definitely needed someone to come out and realign the drawers, I texted the same rep who helped me out initially, and didn't hear back until 2 weeks later. They finally sent another technician out, he came by, looked at drawers in my dishwasher and said that would not be able to fix it as they would need to order another part and that they would text me with a new appointment day/time. Days later I get a text saying that a technician will be dispatched on 6/8 from 2 to 6pm (on a Saturday mind you) and they never showed. AGP doesn't seem to care about the quality of their work or about the overall experience they provide across their various points of contact. This company has been nothing short of a complete disaster from start to finish. Here's a detailed rundown of the nightmare they've put us through: Chronic Tardiness and No-Shows: They never show up on time. In fact, they often don't show up at all. We've had multiple appointments where they simply failed to appear without any notification. This has not only been inconvenient but has also caused us to miss work and rearrange our schedules repeatedly. Unilateral Rescheduling: They have a disturbing habit of rescheduling appointments to new times without consulting us first. We've been left scrambling to adjust our plans on multiple occasions, only for them to either show up late or not at all. Incompetent Technicians: When their technicians do finally arrive, they come with zero information about the issues they're supposed to address. One time, the technician came, found out that we didn't have the part they supposedly sent us (we knew nothing about this), simply shrugged and left. The tech Sean came to our house 3 times. Guaranteed he fixed the problem, took pics. It still wasn't working after he said he fixed the problem after 3 times. We scheduled for him to come back, they gave us a 4 hour window, he never showed up I texted the company to get an update, they ghosted me. I sent 3 more texts to get a time of his arrival, they never responded. My husband called this morning and they said that Sean told them that the problem was fixed and he didn't need to come back. He came out to our house with 100% confidence that he knew exactly what was wrong with our fridge. After 3 visits and still no fix we called again to have him come out. We then called in about 6 times, each time being promised that he would call us for an appointment, which then never happened. After getting ahold of them finally again they told us we were out of the window and needed to open a new ticket with our Home Warranty. Pretty much ruined my dishwasher and walked away. Original problem was a small leak from the bottom of the door that required a seal replacement. The service provider has come out SIX times. First they damaged the dishwasher and countertop by trying to pull the dishwasher out without disconnecting the brackets. They dented the door, cracked the faceplate, left screws on the floor, the door no longer closes properly, and damaged the countertop. They RAN out of the house without showing us their work. My wife had to run after them into the street to fetch them and bring them back inside to show them the damage. They said they would "take care of it" and ran back out of the house. They installed side-mounting brackets but they are bent and sharp and sticking out about an inch from the dishwasher causing scratches to the door and a safety hazard to anyone trying to load/unload dishwasher. Several pieces of metal were found inside and around the dishwasher INCLUDING INSIDE OUR DOGS' FOOD DISH!!! The first guy admitted he had only been on the job for a few weeks and didn't know how to fix it. All we needed was the rubber seal replaced as it had disintegrated. They ordered the right part, but then said it was the wrong part, ordered another part, which was the wrong part, only to realize they had ordered the right part to begin with, but by then the damage had been done. A diagnosis was suppose to be submitted the same day to my insurance company. A week later they still haven't done anything . I have called and left messages many times. Negative experience with Sean. My home warranty company (AHS) assigned Appliance Guard Pro to repair my refrigerator. Sean looked at my fridge and told me that he recommends a replacement. However, in his reporting back to AHS, the recommendation was to transfer me to another contractor. After first saying they had to order the part (following a one-minute visit to tell us that the job needed a thermostat that didn't even require the repair tech to look at the refrigerator at all), they later said that a tech dispatched here had quit on the way here (?), then they said they lost the part. Weeks later, they had the part but didn't show. They then rescheduled for today, which is something like their seventh scheduled visit. I wish I could give this business negative stars. I have a home warranty through AHS, same as many others that have reviewed them do. My induction cooktop is not working and so I reported it to the warranty. Appliance Guard Pro has been out to my home 3 times since to try and diagnose/fix the problem. Although Luis, our repair technician, was friendly, he was unable to get the cooktop working after replacing two separate parts on two separate visits. He admitted to us that they don't really ever work on induction. He told both me and my husband that he was going to recommend that AHS just replace the cooktop. Well... that's not actually what AHS was told. They just forwarded it to yet another service contractor. They have dragged this out for weeks by not doing what they said they would do and as a result, I have been without a functional stove for months at this point. I have tried to reach out and speak with the owner Ron multiple times. I have sent emails and left a message with their front desk person. They have ignored my calls and emails and they don't have a voicemail on their phone so it just rings and rings. I feel like I have been scammed. AHS told me that if Appliance Guard Pro had recommended the replacement like Luis told me they would, that they would have authorized a replacement. Since they didn't do that, I now have to wait for yet another company to come out and look at it. Meanwhile, my stove still doesn't work. I can only assume that they get more money from the warranty company if they do a service versus if they say it should be replaced. After completing the 'repair', it was still not functioning properly but the tech told us it needed time to reset, wait for a while and it should correct. With it still not working we've placed multiple calls to the repair company and emails, receiving promises that they would send someone back to fix. Nearly two weeks later we still have a broken fridge and only (broken) promises that a tech will be in touch to try and fix. Claimed they couldn't find an issue (it isn't draining and the drain hose and pump need to be replaced), despite it being clogged every time they came.
