I'm giving this 4 stars, only because of my initial contact with AppleOne. I met Carolina early 2019, but there was no follow through from her; definitely no opportunities coming my way. Fast forward to May 2019... I met with Sean. He seemed nice, very young, and not quite sure of himself. I ended up interviewing him. Turns out he was fairly new to the position, so I cut him some slack. Sean was pretty diligent in sending job opportunities my way, but I was pretty specific about what I wanted, where I wanted to commute to. During this time, I started working a temp position (not through AO), and stayed in touch with Sean. July 16, 2019, I got an "urgent" call from Sean. "I think I have the perfect position for you." Sean hooked me up with Ali Wadood. Apparently, Sean had been singing my praises (thank you!), and Ali wanted to present me to a position in Everett. I interviewed on the 18th. Job was offered on the 23rd. I started new position on the 24th! More money than I was asking for, 10 minute commute to/from work. Thank you Sean and Ali! I appreciate you both very much!! read more

I'm giving AppleOne's service one star because of my disappointing experience with their introduction meeting. It was supposed to be a 30-minute session to discuss my goals, but it ended in just five minutes. The person I spoke with seemed uninterested and dismissive from the beginning. When he asked about my visa status (I'm on OPT as an international student), his demeanor completely changed. He basically told me it wasn't going to work out without offering any advice or alternatives. He didn't even ask about my goals or what I wanted to achieve--he just focused on my visa status and made me feel like I didn't belong. If it's true that Apple doesn't accept OPT, then fine, but the way this was handled was frustrating and unprofessional. read more

I came here for an interview, only to discover the person who was supposed to be interviewing me was not available. Ten minutes past the scheduled interview time, the interviewer still hadn't arrived. I needed to be back in Seattle for another appointment in a little over an hour, so I explained the situation to the receptionist and asked to reschedule the interview. She offered to see if someone else was available. Carolina was, and the interview was finished in plenty of time for me to get back to Seattle. I appreciate that she respected my time, and was kind, but in a later interaction with her, I don't think she paid as much attention to what I was looking for as she should have. I got a call a month or so after my interview about a direct-hire job. By then, I'd already accepted a temp gig through another agency and was unavailable. When I told her this, and said "thanks but no thanks" to an interview, she whined, "But whyyyyyyyyyyyy is that temp job more important than a direct-hire job?" I reminded her that, as I'd mentioned in our interview, work/life balance and a reasonable commute were major considerations for me--and were worth passing up a direct-hire opportunity with long hours and a one-hour commute each way by bus. read more

I never thought I'd review a staffing agency, but Jiliane Russo is definitely one of the most genuine and sincere recruiters I've ever worked with. My first meeting with her, she took the time to listen to what I wanted to do for a role and where I wanted to go in my career. She gave suggestions for roles that best fit what my interests were. She didn't try and make me take positions that I wouldn't interest me even though I had the experience for them. Jiliane is great with following up and checking up with how my job search is going. She works hard and definitely cares about the people she works with. I am definitely glad I met her, and she is a great resource for anyone looking to find a job! read more

This was a total waste of time. The Recruiter Sean was like, out to lunch. Had to tell him numerous times my e mail, it gets better. I called the day before my appointment to confirm and ensure ( since I never heard from anyone) that they received my information that took one hour to complete on the web. They had not , after I had given my e mail to Sean several days before. She said she would find it based upon the e mail address given. Later the same day another person called to reconfirm the appointment for the next day. I asked if there was a communication issue in the office as I had already spoken with someone earlier in the day. She apologized and then asked if I had completed the online application. That is when I lost it, as I had gone over the same issue in the morning. Would not recommend this office to find a job for a rabid dog! read more

I will give them this: AppleOne reaches out to people QUICKLY. I was contacted as I was still filling out the form online containing my work history, and the ball was already rolling. I was assigned my recruiter, whom I noticed is mentioned on Yelp - for better and worse. Worse, in my case. She kept the interviews coming in at first, and I landed on one job that paid next to nothing but had a big name, so in my naivete I jumped on it. I worked there for a while, but then things didn't work out (sometimes people just don't fit with certain jobs/companies.) I was told that my recruiter would contact me very soon - within the day - and when she didn't, I called the next day. The receptionist told me both times that she was "unavailable" and apologized. No calls back. By that point, I realized I'd been dropped like a dead fish. I would hope that a good recruiting company would realize that it may take a couple tries for an individual to find the company that fits for them in both culture and communication style, etc. I would also hope that they would know that just because one company did not fit with a person, it DOES NOT MEAN that that person is unemployable or somehow a "bad seed." And even if the companies this agency recruits for felt that to be the case, my recruiter could have just told me that and apologized - at least gotten back to me. But no. All I get is radio silence. If you're perfect, this agency will love you (but still probably carve into your paycheck as if it were a nicely glazed turkey.) If you're not - and they find this out... well, you're out of luck. I suppose this may be the norm for agencies or what not, but again, I would hope there'd be an agency out there who would be willing to see that person through to a good experience rather than dropping them. read more

Ali Wadood is someone who I highly recommend to help you further your career. He sat down with me for about an hour in our initial interview and wanted to know what I wanted to do. He was able to help me sort out what would be a good fit for me, and not something that was quick and easy to be placed in. My whole AppleOne experience was terrific and highly recommend anyone who is looking to find a new career choice to use them. I have used other agencies, that wanted to get me working as soon as possible, not getting to know who I was or what I wanted to do. Everyone at AppleOne took the time to get to know me, prep me for my interview, and then discuss after my interview of how I felt about the meeting. When I first moved into the city I didn't have much of a professional network and the people I did know were fresh out of college. I interviewed with AppleOne because my friend in the city said that they were pretty good, and that they found her sister an HR job a few years ago that turned into a full time position. I figured it was worth a shot since I had nothing to lose anyways. Their office in Bellevue is decent, but not as nice as the Robert Half office I interviewed at. For instance, at AppleOne I was meeting with Kellie in a small Office with 2 desks with someone right next to me also meeting with one of their staffing reps whereas at Robert Half it was a meeting room. I met with Kellie Danaher, she was friendly and professional. She told me she guaranteed employment within 90 days. She got me interviews pretty quickly, and found me stuff with companies like Expedia. One thing I noticed at Expedia, of all the other temps, the temps from AppleOne seemed like the most socially normal. Kellie at AppleOne did what she said she would, and they were efficient finding me interviews. I'd describe them as very efficient anytime I needed something. And Kellie was easy to work with. But I can't give AppleOne 5 stars because in my department, some people from other agencies got parking fully paid for or other perks AppleOne didn't offer at the time. read more

Out of all of the agencies in the Seattle and Bellevue area AppleOne proved to be the best staffing firm ever. A friend of mine referred me and told me to speak with Kellie Danaher. Kellie is the Branch Manger for the Bellevue office and she helped me out so much! She identified my skills and past experience quickly, but best of all she was professional and pleasant to talk too. After a day or so I got an email from Kellie letting me know that one of their clients would like to interview me. I believe the day after the interview she let me know that I was hired! I have been with the client for 1 week now and am very excited to be there representing AppleOne. AppleOne didn't waste time and they kept up communication which is key when your looking for a job in this kind of economy. Trust me people go to AppleOne. AppleOne is different than most staffing agencies that I've worked with before because they don't stop trying to find you employment if you don't call them everyday to ask about it and they they work hard to get you interviews. They don't stop until you are hired and satisfied with your new position. My agent, Fidel, calls me before interviews to prepare me for them. She helps me know what kind of answers they might be looking for and what kinds of answers will not be beneficial to me. The only negative thing that I can think of is that they don't offer paid time off after you've been employed through them for a certain amount of time, however, some cities do require that of their employers. read more

I have been working with Appleone for a little over a year now, and they've placed me on 2 jobs! One was a direct hire, and the other is a new contract temp to perm position. I've worked with Kellie Danaher both times, and she is just amazing! She listens to what you want in your career, and tries to find the best match to what you want and 9 times out of 10 its a perfect fit! She is super quick with returning calls and emails, and will make time for you if you want to do a quick stop by in the office to say hello. I was told I would have weekly check-ins and get jobs sent to me, even if it was a little outside of my search. Well, I heard NOTHING. Apple One has been incredibly unprofessional. Do not give them your information. After I got a job (on my own) the woman I worked with asked for all the details of my offer and the company I accepted an offer with. I politely declined but said I would keep Apple One in mind if I was on the market again. While still working my remaining two weeks at my current job, the woman I was working with called my manager to ask about the details of the new position available. I am astounded. She had no way of knowing if I had turned in my two weeks yet. She outed me as looking for a new job. In addition to this, I got several complaints from the people I listed as references that the person who called them was harassing them and asking inappropriate questions. I now can no longer use these people as references because of what I subjected them to. And since, I gave out their contact info, they are being hounded about jobs as well. This is a company that delivers NOTHING...THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I graduated with a 3.75.. i am very educated, articulate, and i have a do my job and always do it well. AppleOne hooked me up with a position mid December and AppleOne said my "contract" position was guaranteed till March. Two weeks after the New Year AppleOne said " Du du du tu tu...Ohhh I guess the position is over." " I said ,"What ! You went over the details and said it was till through March. I relied on your word. " You said ,Do not worry, this contract is for at least 3 months." I am taking care of my Fiancee and AppleOne just blows smoke ...they do not care about You. AppleOne put Me through a living nightmare. Two employees ( ditzy women ) delivered a NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. They just lie...in fact the girl who got me the position got fired in early January 2018. The owner should guarantee the length of the contract and deliver it. I am so embarrassed that I gave AppleOne a shot. APPLEONE..We are the WORST COMPANY... THAT GUARANTEES NOTHING ! read more

Not fit for serious professionals, maybe for entry level jobs - if at all. They called me two seconds after I responded to an ad on an independent recruiting site and had me come in. I asked whether they had a real job because I didn't see anything good on their web site, but they assured me they have plenty and that they just couldn't keep up posting them (that turned out to be untrue). The office is a tiny three room space and the front desk girl was not very friendly. Then a teenage comes in (recruiter) and starts grilling me about my clothes and my attitude (though the attitude was all hers). Needless to say I will never talk to them again. This place is un-Freaking-believable! I applied to a position on their website and connected with the recruiter through LinkedIn. 23 minutes after she accepted my request, I get a call on my company phone asking to speak to the hiring manager (my manager) about partnering with our company for temp hires. Not knowing she was speaking to me.. she used my CONFIDENTIAL/PERSONAL information for her own networking and benefit. I also had 2 stand up calls from a different recruiter. I scheduled my whole day around it and he never once called nor apologized. So unacceptable! I will never work with this company or recommend them to anyone. read more

Carolina called me and said that she had an opportunity she thought would be perfect for me. I went in the next day and met with her. She was very prepared, she had the job description and her interview questions ready to go. She completely understood what I was looking for in my next role. (I was coming from a very dysfunctional work environment, so my next job had to be in a professional, upbeat setting.) It was Friday that I met with her. Tuesday I had my interview and I was offered the job right there. Been working at the Employer for a week now and am loving it. I worked with Amelia at AppleOne and the experience was wonderful, I would definitely recommend AppleOne, and especially Amelia, to anyone looking for a job in King County. Being unemployed certainly takes its toll on you, after a few weeks of struggling to get anywhere on my own and having very negative experiences with other recruiting agencies (especially Aerotek in Bellevue/Kirkland, they were terrible!), I was feeling very down on myself and my prospects. Meeting with Amelia quickly changed that, as she helped me regain my confidence in myself and my experiences, and see myself as someone who would have a lot to contribute to future jobs. For the first time as well, I felt like I was working with a recruiter who actually cared about my future and who knew me personally. My experiences with other recruiters often felt like I was just another name on a list, they barely remembered me or our conversations, even just a few hours after we had spoken I would feel forgotten. That was never the case with Amelia. She remembered small details of the conversation we had in person even weeks later, and used this knowledge to help guide me to some great positions that I may not have considered on my own. Amelia's responsiveness is also very impressive. I got replies to emails very late in the evenings (9pm or later), and very early in the morning (6am). I could really tell that this isn't just a job to her, but something that she is truly passionate about, and that made a huge difference to me. She is also very friendly, so I felt that I could have open conversations with her about my goals and not feel like I needed to put on my "best interview face" at all times. This honesty between us allowed Amelia to get to know me better and ultimately be an even better resource during the job hunt. Tl;dr: Amelia and AppleOne are amazing at what they do. They provide a personalized experience and truly care about placing people in the right roles, something that I found to be extremely rare in the recruiting field. read more

I cannot say one person I worked with was kind however, whoever answers and greets people needs to understand and learn what customer service is and perhaps a lesson in manners. I could not believe what I was subjected to. I took a job not ideal but a job. However, with the experience I have even a degree would not cover my OTJ training and knowledge. I am outraged that they have nothing (just not believable) that would match my experience. There is ZERO organization of their information. Wrong address's and directions. Makes it hard to take this seriously. The scrutiny I went through is simply NOT done by others. It is just not possible. I am highly disappointed and I am an incredibly hard worker. There is either a management problem or customer service problem maybe even both. Its really hard to say as they are far to disorganized. I previously worked with a staffing agency in another city and had a pretty bad experience, so I'll be honest- I wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleased overall with the process, but at the end of the day, the jobs offered are what you'd expect from a staffing agency: low quality and entry level. My recruiter, Carolina, seemed like she could care less. I rarely heard from her; I always had to initiate everything. I was submitted (I think) for many jobs, but never heard back from any of them but one and even then, it had been close to 3 weeks after my interview and still had heard nothing. I personally don't believe I was ever submitted for jobs, as my recruiter didn't seem like she even cared, which is weird because her paycheck largely hinges on getting people jobs... Luckily, I found a job elsewhere, without recruiter help, and ceased working with Carolina and Apple One. I sent an email right when I found out I got another job and I expected some type of response from her, but nothing. Very classless. I strongly suggest trying to find a job on your own, but if you want to use a staffing agency, I do not recommend this one. read more

I am feeling why bother with this type of service, since graduating with associate degree last June I submitted plenty of applications, had several interviews at least that made me feel I accomplished something. STAY AWAY from Apple one, especially the Kent office. Strictly a resume collection agency. Initial meeting with them, the recruiter was inappropriately dressed and asked some very person questions that should be considered illegal. Do not take your complaints to management who are also just has unprofessional. They do not assist you in any way in your job search. Thankfully I've been able to find a great job without their help. A "0" star rating would be more appropriate in this case. read more
