When he asked about my visa status (I'm on OPT as an international student), his demeanor completely changed. He basically told me it wasn't going to work out without offering any advice or alternatives. He didn't even ask about my goals or what I wanted to achieve--he just focused on my visa status and made me feel like I didn't belong. If it's true that Apple doesn't accept OPT, then fine, but the way this was handled was frustrating and unprofessional.

During labor, we did what we practiced and the mother later reported that this was the most helpful tool for managing the intensity. When a complication arose in labor, there was not a lot of time and several fast decisions had to be made. Having Nancy there as a trusted resource made all the difference. We had not considered hypnobirthing but found the sessions with Nancy and the practice at home invaluable at the birth. Nancy had a calming confident presence during the birth which was short and intervention free. My husband had been reluctant to have a Doula as he was worried this would take away from his support role. Nancy was great at helping us to work together as a couple through the birth.
