This store has SO MANY interesting bottles of boutique soda. If you don't drink alcohol, but still…read morelike cracking open a bottle of a craft drink, then this place is for you. To be fair, they do also carry some alcohol, but the alcohol section pales in comparison to the sodas. I bought a bottle of Cock N Bull apple ginger beer (for anyone who doesn't already know this, ginger beer, like root beer, is completely non-alcoholic), and a can of Pocasville bebida de T de hibiscus. I was going to pick out more drinks, but noticed that there were no price stickers anywhere. So, naturally, I wanted to know how much they cost before picking too many out. When I went to the register with my two items, I was given some serious sticker shock. It was well over seven dollars for two sodas. Of course I understand that food is really expensive right now, and that, the further the food has to be transported before purchase, the more it costs. Still, wow. That seemed so high. In addition to the amazing selection of overpriced sodas, this small store also had a great selection of (pricey) chocolates, cheeses, and hiking snacks. Additionally, they have a produce section that actually makes the store in Curry Village Yosemite look good. There were exactly two lemons, two limes, three oranges, four apples, and one piece of ginger. The cashier was maybe a little odd, but friendly. He recognized the people in front of me by name, and had a nice little conversation with them. The store was neither exceptionally clean or dirty, but looked clean enough. Parking was very limited with only about three spots out front, but there appeared to be more places to park across the street. I did not yet patronize the fresh sandwich deli, which seems to be the main feature of this store. Maybe another time.

I understand their location but c'mon?! I've been to other secluded areas in NorCal, but this is just too much. I love supporting local businesses but this spot isn't and never worth coming back to.

If you haven't been to Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, are you even living, or are you just hydrating?…read moreThe Vibe: Industrial Liquor Chic Walking in is like entering a high-end heist movie set in a warehouse. It's Liquor Chic at its absolute zenith. The environment is an incredible, sprawling treasure hunt where every turn of a corner reveals a new liquid trophy. It's gritty, it's authentic, and it smells like ambition and oak barrels. The Selection: A Local & Global Masterclass * The Wine & Beer: They don't just carry "local" wines; they curate the very soul of Sonoma and Napa. The beer selection is a hop-heavy odyssey that makes other shops look like they're selling juice boxes. * The Bubbles: The Sparkling and Champagne section? Pure fabulousness. Whether you're celebrating a promotion or just surviving a Tuesday, they have the effervescence to match your ego. * The Hard Stuff: The Bourbon selection is a deep, amber-hued dream. The specialty liquors and Tequilas? It's a curated library of botanical brilliance and agave excellence. If it's rare, it's here. If it's legendary, it's probably on the end-cap. The Human Element The staff here aren't just "employees." They are Liquid Scholars. These wizards possess a level of knowledge that borders on the supernatural. Ask them about a remote vineyard in the Russian River Valley or the mash bill of an obscure rye, and they'll give you a dissertation with a smile. The Merch And just when you think you've seen it all--the T-shirts. Yes, you can literally wear the brand. Nothing says "I have impeccable taste and a well-stocked cellar" like a Bottle Barn tee. Final Verdict: 11/10. I came for a bottle of Zin and left with a trunk full of treasures, a new appreciation for French bubbles, and a shirt that makes me look like a local legend. Bottle Barn isn't a store; it's a lifestyle.

We dropped a C Note on the St George Single Malt. Since we can't find it anywhere, it was an immediate grab. We also got a new Danish Mead which we can't wait to open at our Viking Yule Fest. We also picked up some aquavit and a nice Pinot and some craft beer. Get this, the beer was put in the can a mere 3 weeks ago. Lots of help - you look a little lost and someone is instantly next to you. So Much Wine, Bubbles, whatever you might be jonesing, for you got it, things for mixing there too. People are so nice in the store. If you see a big guy with a beard and a nice smile - be super nice to him. If his name is Aaron, you have found the guy who shopped there for 20 years before he ever worked there. He knows everything. Give him a high five and tell him Yoko sent you!
