We walked in on Easter not sure what to expect- but stoked they were open - and it turned into a great experience. We got multiple tastings and ended up leaving with a few bottles. Tastings are cheaper than nearby wineries and the wine tender was awesome! She was friendly and knowledgeable and let us revisit wines. There's mini Hershey chocolates to snack on during the tasting and self serve water. You can also sit outside in the back to enjoy a glass and even order food from the restaurant. Today, for the first time ever, the owner told me I have to use a tap card to pay, instead of the ordinary insert/swipe card I've been using for years. My bank (a large regional bank) does not issue tap cards yet. So I had to put the bottles back on the shelf and drive across the street to Big John's. I know tap cards are trending but have never encountered a store that forced their customers to use them. Seems like Tip Top has hit rock bottom ... and just lost a loyal, long-time customer along the way.

We did two flights, one of Rum and the other of whiskey tastings and one gin and tonic drink. Both flights were delicious, great notes on each, and a light palate. I'm not big gin drinker but I was surprised how well the gin tasted. I'd order a gin drink anytime. The place is really nice and the service was good. We will definitely be back for some more flights.
