The outside view as you are driving north on Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

I love this store because the owners, Raj and Nveita are super friendly and helpful. The sandwiches are made fresh and they go out of their way to accommodate me with my special dietary needs. Their selection of root beer, cream sodas, ginger beer and other specialty sodas are out of this world. I never seen seen so many specialty sodas (in addition to regular sodas). They have many items (that you forgot to bring with you ) for the beach or picnics. There is a nice little sitting area at the back of the store that has great views of Tomales Bay and the surrounding hills. The medical helicopters land in the grassy area next to the store. And the shipwreck is behind the store. The store is across the street from the post office. They have specialty gourmet items, as well as ramen bowls, frozen food items, ice creams, snacks, cheese, and staples.

This was the best kind of deja vu. We were on our way to the coast and I was starving. I remembered stopping for a sandwich - I remembered it was a good sandwich the last time we were here. But I didn't look at my last Yelp review and didn't realize that I ordered the same sandwich I ordered last time: turkey, avocado and cheese on a Dutch crunch roll. Yes, I got the Swiss and yes, everything else on it the way it is supposed to be. And the lady was there again to make it and it was again magical. I literally could have cried at how good this sandwich was. It felt like a warm hug. It was wrapped beautifully in white paper and a little thank you sticker with a heart. It was just as good as last time and I ordered some gummy peaches and a Reeses Take 5 bar as well. The total was about $17 with everything. Thank you to Inverness Market!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon after racking the lighthouse. We were famished. The last behind the counter was super sweet and promptly whipped up 7 sandwiches. They were delicious and fresh. Cute little market with tons of drink and dry food options. Nice cozy no thrills place for some reasonable real food!

Super veggie sandwich on dutch crunch.

To be honest I never come by this store, but the one I usually go by for food was closed. I was pleasantly surprised by my sandwich, not bad at all. I asked for it to be loaded up and staff did just that. The rest of the items are expensive (aka almost $5 for a bag of chips), so plan ahead and bring your own snacks! They do have a pretty large selection of grocery items though and one of the only casual spots in that direct area open on Sunday. I wish they would add a few sandwich spread options besides mustard, Mayo, or oil. Pros: Sandwiches are basic, but good Wide selection of grocery items available Open on Sunday Easy to swing by for food on your way to the beach/hike Staff is friendly Bread was soft and tasted fresh Cons: Pricy (ie $11 for a veggie sandwich) Very limited fridge items

It's Liquor Chic at its absolute zenith. The environment is an incredible, sprawling treasure hunt where every turn of a corner reveals a new liquid trophy. It's gritty, it's authentic, and it smells like ambition and oak barrels. The Selection: A Local & Global Masterclass * The Wine & Beer: They don't just carry "local" wines; they curate the very soul of Sonoma and Napa. The beer selection is a hop-heavy odyssey that makes other shops look like they're selling juice boxes. * The Bubbles: The Sparkling and Champagne section? Pure fabulousness. Whether you're celebrating a promotion or just surviving a Tuesday, they have the effervescence to match your ego. * The Hard Stuff: The Bourbon selection is a deep, amber-hued dream. Great cheeses, samples, deals, a beautiful spot to enjoy our cheeses, breads, wines and chocolates and more. The wonderful lady behind the cheese counter was brilliant. They provide a frozen ice pack to take your goodie home with you (the other place had nothing). We camped out a lot a picnic table enjoying the scenery and animals. Highly recommend for a wonderful picnic or lazy day.

The shop also sells local sausages, jams, and pate. If you come here, I highly suggest you buy items that are not available at chain stores. Hint: It's usually cheaper at the chain stores. For example, one petit wheel of Brie is $7.99 here vs. four petit wheels (Triple Creme, Truffle Triple Creme, Breakfast, and Camembert) at Costco is only $14.74. I like their Truffle Triple Creme the best. On our latest visit, they were showcasing their Supreme Brie, which contains even more cream than their Triple Creme Brie. I didn't think that level of cream was necessary. We ended up picking up a brined Brie called Golden Gate; the brininess added more flavor to their already flavorful Brie. If you are here during lunch time, be sure to order a toasted sandwich. We got the three-cheese toastie and it was delicious. We also got a pesto chicken sandwich and the chicken was very flavorful. After lunch, we got the Straus soft-serve -- we can definitely taste the remarkably fresh cream. There are picnic tables with bathrooms near a nice pond on-site. My only gripe about this place is that the picnic tables are dirty with lots of bird poop. The outdoor bathrooms are dirty too; one unit did not even have toilet paper. It doesn't seem like the outdoor areas are regularly cleaned and maintained (1 star off). The view is beautiful. I would definitely spend more time here if the outdoor premises are cleaner.
