Would be proud to have it on my street, that's for sure. On this night I was going to a freind's house for venison and he pulled out two Mourvèdre heavy wines that were both great with the dinner. Not very expensive either. I even questioned if they were going to be the best wine I could get for this dinner and they did not try to upsell me to a pricier bottle that would not have been as good with the food. Integrity like that keeps people coming back and makes better long term value for everyone. Wish I found it everywhere, but regardless, very happy to have found it here, and I will return. I was honored to be apart of the tradition. I LOVE going into wine and spirit shops as I love to add bottles to my collection. I viewed the whole shop while the dude was looking at beers for him. I went over to the owner to see if they had Electra to give to my dudes grandma as she loves wine. The owner said he doesn't have it and I recommend to him to carry that and Stella Rosa black which he didn't have either. I got a sweet wine for the relatives and chatted with the owner for a while. The owner informed me with each purchase you get a free bag of ice! Which you cannot beat and free gift wrap. I absolutely love this shop! I definitely will be coming back if I am in the area as it is located in the Bay. If you have a chance to stop by. I would recommend. They even had HUGE bottles of wine/alcohol. When I asked why, he said I needed ID because "she could buy the liquor and you both could go crack it open in the parking lot." I found that comment rude, judgmental, and completely unprofessional. When I asked for a manager, he said he was the manager. Policies can be explained respectfully without making assumptions about customers. In today's world, kindness costs nothing. Each time I have asked about a low alcohol wine the staff does not seem familiar with the question or a wine. Example of low alcohol wines would be Meiomi bright Pinot Noir, Arlow Cabernet Sauvignon, Bread and butter sliced chardonnay, Decoy featherweight , butter light chardonnay ect.
