Zero Stars. I should have known by the outside appearance of the restaurant. This was the worst service I have ever received. I should have known that every sit down restaurant in town was packed except Applebees. There were only about 7 cars in the front parking lot and some in the back for workers. Before I entered, the outside was not maintained. They sat us down at a table that was super wobbly. We went to 3 different tables and it was all the same. I took my son and dad out for dinner. We ordered the same thing. Riblets, shrimp, and boneless wings. My ribs arrived and they were pretty good. We ordered the shrimp when she gave us out plates. I was done eating the Riblets and it took 19 more minutes to get 6 shrimp. All three of us were out of drink and had been for over 12 of the 19 minutes. Finally, I had enough and asked for my bill so we could leave. Of course that took a long time too. I like Applebees, but the culture of the entire staff is substandard. I mean horrible substandard. Not once did a manager approach our table. This store is in prime real estate for the area and it is sad the way the entire operation is ran. read more

Quite possibly the worst Applebee's in existence. The outside looked a bit dumpy. The table was so sticky and grimy. They a good scrubbing on the sides too. The carpet is a sticky stained mess. Even the curtain had a crusty stain. Bathroom was gross. My cheesy potatoes barely had any cheese. Pretzel was burnt. The steak smelled like fish somehow. Everything about this place was so off putting. I really don't know how it stays in business. read more

Tuesday July 28th 2026 around 9pm went to this restaurant and I ordered a 2 for 35.00 plus 2 drinks and 1 appetizer. Restaurants wasnt busy I think my waitress only had us to service my complaints are the waitress didn't check on us enough never refilled my drink until after I received the bill. The chicken was terrible not fully cooked and my appetizer was dry. Paid 51.00 plus 10.00 tip even though wasn't happy with the food or the service. read more

Don't laugh; Came by as it was right next to my cool inn off the enthralling 94 St Augustine Valdosta causeway. We've all heard the C D'Elia jokes :) and .. and .. was craving a Bloody Mary, .. it Y'd me. Honestly hit the spot. Bartender was working double time keeping all the campers very happy, respect Bev's were as expected, she made sure to ask questions and customize em per patron; & looked v tasty. Few later night staff were cool, friendly; No whackos at bar :) My grub came out hot, not take long at all, impressive for AppleB. Have to admit I dig their fish n chips. Beware, their hottest best hot sauce is and always will be Tabasco ; best to keep bottle o Marie Sharp's Habanero in briefcase when traveling. Spending the night at a nearby hotel and decided to get a bite to eat. None of the employees appeared to be overly friendly or happy to be working at this restaurant. We were sat near another customer who appeared upset. Even though there was maybe three people eating in the restaurant, it took several minutes for our waitress to show up. After she took our order, I overheard the other customer tell the waitress, "I'm not paying for this". We ordered some finger food and drinks. I'm 99% sure they poured the wrong brand of whiskey, but by that time I just wanted to leave. Fridays night December 12, 2025, we went to Applebee's on St. Augustine road in Valdosta GA. We ordered from the 2 for $25 menu and requested the 2 house salad's and chicken fingers along with a soft drink and Iced tea. First thing we noticed was the server didn't know what salad dressings they had to offer. When we were ready to leave we asked for a box to take our left over chicken and fries. The bill came and the server had processed our order as a platter which took our bill to $42.+. We questioned it and a different server said since we had eaten all the chicken they couldn't adjust the bill. I explained again we did not order the platter. I had not mentioned wanting the patter upgrade at any time. I was told they would get the manager. About 10 minutes later the manager came to our table and had a new bill for us with the platters changed to the regular order. Then he saw the to go box sitting by my fiancée and asked her to give it back to him. She asked him why, are you going to give it to another customer? He replied no they can't do that. Our question was then why do you want it back? It made no sense. It wasn't my mistake on the order, why did they treat us like we were trying to get something for nothing. I just wanted to pay the proper bill and leave, which we did and I will not return to that location. read more

I did carry out- when I got back to the hotel with the food, French fries were missing from the Riblet meal, the Riblets themselves were nothing but FAT, a salad already had been mixed with the dressing so it was soggy! Although-they probably did it so I wouldn't notice all the rotten lettuce in it. and the French onion soup wasn't "put together " The best part of all that was the one breadstick that we shared. Last Friday and Saturday night while in Valdosta, GA I made a visit to Applebee's store #406 on St. Augustine Road. I had a heavy heart since I was in town to lay my Aunt to rest. However, this immediately changed upon stopping here. Friday night was a lively atmosphere with great old school music from the 90's. Saturday was the same with a great atmosphere to watch college football. The manager Jennifer, server Alexis, and both bartenders, Zee and Michelle were amazing! They sang music along with everyone and provided great positive energy! Staff making drinks behind the bar, free pouring liquor for themselves, joking around being unprofessional, on the phone behind the bar, leaving the bar to go sit down and play on the phone. I worked for Applebees for a year a while ago and know their standards. This place would be shut down if they had a halfway decent area manager. waffle House is right across the street better off going there. Food is awful too. you can tell they upcook food so you'll never get anything cooked to order. Steaks come out 20 degrees over cooked 2 nights in a row. Also don't ring up bar drinks properly so you'll overpay on 2for1 drinks because they just charge you for each drink anyways. This Apple Bees was just remodeled. It's beautiful! Our waitress was amazing and made sure we were taken care of. It's a clean and friendly atmosphere. We ordered through Uber eats. The driver did her job she followed notes per request was smiling so friendly. we quickly realized that our to go order was missing an entire meal. The restaurant packed it so she could not have seen what was init. I called my Uber driver who offered to go back but we don't live close. I told her not her fault. I called the restaurant spoke to the manager explained what happened and how this wasn't the driver's fault and that we have been pretty regular customers for awhile and she didn't care this is the third time we have had messed up orders it's ridiculous. Don't waste your money they won't make it right no wonder they have bad reviews. In this pandemic world where our delivery drivers have no way to open the sealed bags it sucks that the restaurant makes it the drivers problem. We won't be back. read more

I can now see why this location has 1.5 stars. On my visit of 1/28/23, first if all there were no exterior lights on. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:28 which is when I arrived. I let the restaurant know I had arrived. After waiting 20 minutes, I called the restaurant to inquire and was told they were bagging up my order. 10 minutes later my order was brought out. We had ordered 2 orders of ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and an order of Buffalo wings. I will say the garlic mashed potatoes were good, but the ribs were still cold in the middle and barely warm on the outside. I understand ribs have to be cooked ahead of time but there was precious little effort made to reheat. The wings were ok but were not coated in sauce, but rather sauce was served on the side. Got back to the hotel and they didn't include one of the meals. When I called their was not apology - just "are you able to come and pick it up". I asked them to deliver it, as their website said they offer delivery. Was told they do t have a delivery service. So I stated I would pick it up and that I hoped the dinner would not be cold. They never offered anything g for their mistake nor for my inconvenience. And the dinner was luke warm at best and the rice was completely dried out.
