What should have been a simple family dinner turned into the worst restaurant experience we have…read moreever endured, marked by extreme delays, neglect, hostility, and threats of violence from the manager on duty. What Happened: We were the third table seated in the restaurant. Despite this, meals were delayed and delivered one plate at a time, 15 minutes apart. My husband's order was incorrect, my son's meal arrived incomplete, and our appetizer came only after most of the food had been served. The most alarming issue: my four-year-old daughter never received her kids' meal of chicken tenders and fries--despite us asking multiple times over nearly two hours. Watching her sit there hungry while other tables were served was unacceptable. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told he was "busy in the kitchen." He never came to our table. I eventually walked back myself, only to be brushed off. While standing nearby, I overheard him shout: "I'm about to whoop her ass!" This was the manager of your restaurant threatening physical violence toward a paying customer simply for asking why her child's food had not been served. Escalation: Instead of resolving the issue, the manager escalated it further by calling the police. I calmly explained the situation to the officers. We had previously paid for the meals we did and DID NOT receive, and left--with my child still unfed. Why This Matters: This went far beyond poor service. It represented: Neglect: A child's meal was never delivered. Failure of Leadership: The manager refused to engage or resolve basic service issues. Hostility: A direct verbal threat was made against a customer. Abuse of Authority: Law enforcement was used to intimidate rather than correct the mistake. Families should feel safe, respected, and cared for in your restaurants. On this night, we were treated with indifference, hostility, and outright disrespect. This was not just a poor dining experience. It was an alarming breakdown in customer service and professional conduct. The actions and words of the Buffalo Wild Wings manager placed us in an unsafe and humiliating situation. It was a disgusting experience.

Especially, the abundance of free parking in downtown Lake City. The Friday night I was there, there was music bingo and a live band. They have live music every Friday and Saturday at the outside stage. Monday is game night. Tuesday is Trivia. Wednesday they have line dancing, including classes for like $5. Thursday is Karaoke!!!! They have a "Culture of Generosity" where you can buy a beer forward. I actually got to be the recipient of one of those free beers. And of course, I paid it forward. The BEER: Seymour-Finnegan's Irish Red Ale 5.7%... smooth slightly sweet great tasting all day crushable goodness Hop Culture IPA 6.5% ABV... looks like a hazy, tastes like a west coast, definitely high in IBUs, has fruity pine nose, good if you love your IPAs extra piney, so very hop forward Pickle Sour 4.5% ABV... oh he11 yummm, I absolutely love this pickle sour. Soooo very good! Rum soaked oak barrel aged Big Hal 7% ABV... there was something I really liked about this. It is a brown ale with a whole bunch of personality Don't have the words though. Big Hal brown ale 6 8% ABV... now I know what I liked about the Rum Soaked Barrel Aged Big Hal this is an all day drinkable brown ale. LOVED IT! I can honestly say I found some fantastic Beer in Lake City, FL. What a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening.

Brewery #390 Cool…read moreold, repurposed government building of some sort. Post office maybe? IDK. Anyway. Halpatter's is a brewery, but they only had 6 of their own beers. They had several guest beers and a couple of vodka sodas on tap. I got my standard flight and wanted to try their beers, so I got a red ale, a wit bier, a pumpkin style and a hazy IPA. Nothing was bad but nothing stood out either. Everything was solid. We didn't eat here but the menu looked solid. They had a Mississippi pot roast (Similiar to an Italian beef) wrap that sounded great. If I were a local, I'd definitely come back to try out the food.

Arrived and got a table quite quickly , and landed in the middle I guess, this place is huge, and we got a six top table with three adults and three small children. Our server Marla ( I think I can't find my receipt.), got our drink orders and some fries for the kids to be entertained quite quickly while we looked at the menus to decide what to get for everybody. She was a great server and took great care of us so thank you for the great service upfront!!! I was actually shocked at the pricing of the steaks and prime rib as they were well below market value in Northern Georgia. So I opted for the 10 ounce fillet., a Caesar salad salad and some vegetables, while my son-in-law got the 12 ounce Delmonico with side order of grilled shrimp. My fillet was bacon wrapped, and when I made the first cut, I drooled.! it was perfect! Then I tasted it. It was more than perfect.!! Literally the best steak I've had in years and I am a Chef! The Delmonico steak and shrimp were juicy , had a totally different flavor from the fillet and was delicious!! My daughter also has a 12 ounce Ribeye( the Delmonico , which is named after the restaurant and the way it is cooked, but it's a ribeye). We had enough steak to split for the kids., but got them a couple of order of fries and we did start with the buffalo chips, which are a must have! These are homemade chips with blue cheese crumbles and buffalo sauce and are the bomb!! My kids and I have loved blue cheese potato chips since visiting our most favorite old Diner in Buckhead, Atlanta and make them at home all the time! The 10 ounce fillet was only $34 which I thought it was a great value in 2025 !! I don't want them to raise prices but the same steak up here near Athens, Georgia would be 55 maybe $60. Even the 16 ounce primary was under $40 and is the best prime rib you'll get in the southeast anywhere.!! Austin's is a staple, unfortunately for me it's off the beaten path when I get into town so I don't go out there much but I'll be back again within six months now that my memory is jogged on how good it is. Restaurant is expanding where they are and if you are looking for a steak , or burger and sandwiches and other things they offer, you will not be disappointed. Great service , great food , great memories . Highly recommend.!!

We were greeted with a smile the second we walked in, and our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. A+ for vibes and service. Now, the food... oof. We started with the appetizer special of the night, which, shockingly, was the best thing we had--and it was aggressively mid. Everything that followed? Two thumbs down. The peas I ordered as a side; I swear were marinated in red onion slivers for several decades. Even after picking out all the visible onion, (as shown in pictures) it still tasted like Shrek's bathwater. If I had ordered this on a first date, I would've just gone home to save us both the trauma of onion breath. There's no way a single person has ever eaten this dish and said, "Wow, that was delightful." I'd actually pay money to see the facial expressions of anyone taking a bite. My partner's mashed potatoes? So dry and dense I could've thrown them at a wall and they'd stick. Come back the next morning and they'd be holding up drywall. Not a single drop of moisture in sight. I asked for crushed red pepper for my flatbread (thinking maybe it could be saved). No - No pepper flakes. Apparently none of their flatbreads are allowed joy or spice. Even if they did have red pepper, I don't think it would've saved it. Best thing we had all night? My partner's chicken. And even that was dry. So, that says a lot. Final verdict: come here for a drink and a snack before going somewhere else for the actual meal. It's a great pregame spot, but if you're hungry-hungry, keep walking.
