food water, berry blast mountain dew dity soda, pretzels with beer cheese and honey mustard; dirty soda was tasty choice for a bar style drink without alcohol, and the pretzels were the best i can remember tasting, just based off texture and taste of the dough, with the thick cheese sauce and sweet and tangy honey mustard pushing the dish atop the rankings. further, momma, lil bro, and his woman ordered 2 of the trio plates among the three, so you know the kid nabbed some off those. service excellent, server introduced himself without delay, knowledgably directed me to the mocktail drink menus, anticipated our need for waters, and delivered the drinks and food with skillful timing. ambiance first aspect i'd seen was the beautiful blossom looking tree affront the restaurant, then unmissable was the cutout photo of snoop dogg and his bae inside the front door, which i still love but was admittedly cheapened by seeing an identical cutout at the back of the restaurant. and lastly, walking out the restaurant, i'd saw a outdoor shade cover with names of alcoholic drink brands offered at the restaurant, which is a convenient menu preview for you technology doubters, like me. hit the dm for photo of the latter. read more

Seeing some new Menu items advertised and feeling a little nostalgic, we stopped in for a Sunday lunch. We chose to sit at the bar top and we're greeted by the store manager who took our drink orders. He suggested their "Perfect Margarita " which came with chips and salsa. She had a draft Busch Light. The margarita was served with the shaker, so you get a little more than a glass full. The beer came in a frosty glass and was actually pretty good. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken & Sausage Penne Pasta, she ordered the Bourbon Street Mushroom Burger. Our order arrived about 10 minutes later and looked great. My pasta dish was hot and the flavors worked great. Would definitely order it again. She said her burger was one of the best burgers she's ever had, which is a major compliment, because she can be very picky. If you haven't been to Applebee's in a few years perhaps give them a try. This is the last location in the Tulsa area and is under new ownership. Our bartender, Sam, said the ownership change has been great as they are working hard to improve all areas of the business. We Just left, we sat at our table for over 15mins with no service, I asked another server where are waiter/ waitress was? And he said he was going to go let her know we were still waiting to be served, he said he had already let her know before I asked, that she had a table waiting on her. Then our suppose to be waitress walked out of the kitchen and stood by the bar for atleast 5 mins, then walked right passed our table, and began having a conversation with another customer at their table for another 5 mins. The blinds at the window were also broken so the sun was in our eyes and also other customers across from us. I'm very disappointed in the service we were given. This adventure finds my husband and I up in Tulsa, after my lymphedema therapy. After getting out of my session, we made our way down to our car and looked at each other and said, " What's do you want for dinner?" We looked through all the apps and my husband came across Applebee's and said, " What's about Applebee's, it's been awhile since we have had them." I agreed and we both downloaded the app and took a look at the menu and made our selections. The first was a 2 for $25 which have us both a chance to select what we wanted appetizer and main dish wise. My husband selected the riblet plate, Mac n cheese, and what was supposed to be French onion soup( I think he ended up with what looked like a chicken tortilla soup). Then I selected the appetizer which was spinach and artichoke dip and chips, with my main course being the bourbon street chicken and shrimp with what was supposed to have no mushroom and no onion(and it had an ass load of both with hardly any flavor. With this type of dish you expect a somewhat sweet flavor). Then I ordered a classic combo appetizer(for my lunch on Friday), which had a bit of everything to try(wings, quesadilla, cheese sticks, and spinach and artichoke dip. The sauces that came with it were mostly correct, but instead of the marinara i ended up eith two things of salsa).Since we had ordered through the app, we were expecting it to be ready on time(but we should have known better about that), the hubby had to wait a few extra minutes, before coming out with our order. He went in to the establishment to pick the order up( because the carside to go signs number one were missing and poles for them covered up by the bushes according to the host). He also found out there was only one guy in the back doing orders from the host as well. We understand being short staffed and the restaurant industry, we both are very understanding about that. But that is no reason not to read an order correctly and to take your time to do it as the customer asked. If you push out mediocre food, you are giving the customer a mediocre experience and putting them on the fence to recommend your establishment to family and friends. You need to put your best effort forward with each and every dish that comes out of the kitchen. You may be having a crappy day and just going through the motions, but never let your guests pick up on that. Picture yourself competing in a culinary competition.Are you going to serve the judge something great and memorable, or blah and mediocre? What will score you that perfect 10? read more

We went to the location on East 41st by the Wyndham on a Saturday. Even though it wasn't busy at all, we still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. A party of six during Covid restrictions is a challenge, so we understood. Three other parties had left in the time we waited. There was hardly anyone in the place! The waitress kept explaining they were super busy. I thought maybe take out was keeping them so busy, but no customers showed up there in the hour and a half we were in the building. Finally, another server came and seated us but not before making it clear that her shift was over and she was trying to "get outta here". Not something I'd tell a customer. The place in general, seemed very unorganized, and the employees seemed to be in a bad mood. Food was the usual Applebees food. In this case a saving grace. The 2 for $20 special is always a pleaser. We started with the Spinach + Artichoke dip and chips. We get this a lot and had no complaints. Friends started with salads that were bland but effective. Two of us had the Bourbon St. Chicken & Shrimp, two had the Fiesta lime chicken. An Oriental Grilled Chicken salad and a 6oz Top Sirloin all came out terrific. The food quality saved their review because the service was atrocious. Not at all a comfortable atmosphere. Let's hope this isn't par for the place or they could be in trouble. 8/20 read more

I can see why this chain is going out of busines. Sat at the bar. Was not offered a menu. ordered the oriental grilled chicken salad. Waited forever. Food was brought out in a brown paper bag as if I had ordered it to go which I did not. The server was pretty proud of her drawing of a rabbit on the paper bag though. The "salad" was missing, the chicken looked mangled as if it had been through a dulled garbage disposal. Horrible experience from beginning to end. I used to LOVE going here ( once a week). The quality of the food was getting bad ie. : we ordered the appetizer combo & the boneless wings looked like chunks of chicken in a wing sauce soup, there was more sauce than wings. We had a side of riblets & they drowned it in sauce also ..& there was hardly any meat on them. We gave it another chance & ordered the appetizer combo & a burger basket for curbside. I went for pickup,almost drove off but checked my bag before leaving the parking lot & the burger was missing! So I had to go in & wait on the burger while everything else is getting cold. I got everything, got home & the chicken quesadillas had pico de gallo in it which I omitted because I have a bad allergic reaction to onions which I always tell them! Chicken & cheese only! I tried to call the ph number on the receipt & it wasn't a working #, I called the ph number on their website & it wasn't working so I had to drive back AGAIN!! They kept my food I took back to show I couldn't eat it ( my husband could have if they didn't take it away from me..did they serve it to someone else?) they remade the quesadillas but didn't offer any consolation for me driving back 2x's & I couldn't even speak to the manager! I was in Tulsa on business and this place was close to the hotel I was staying. This one was not busy(it was after 9pm). I got seated right away. I haven't been to Applebee's in a long time, so it took me a while to look over the menu. I finally decided on Fire cracker shrimp cavatappi(kind of pasta like Macaroni)with Sriracha cream sauce and Peach ice tea for a drink. The particular dish was delicious. Sriracha gave this dish a kick to it. My server Kauhdeeme B made my tea half and half, so it's not too sweet. He was very friendly and attentive. My dining experience at the Applebee's was a very pleasant one. I'm going to start going to Applebee's in my town more often from now on. Maybe next time, I will try their dessert. They really looked good, but I really didn't have any room for it today! read more

I was very impressed with our server Bryauanna. She was an absolute sweetheart and was attentive. The mozzarella sticks were delicious and the spinach dip was good. The entree I ordered was the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. It came out on a sizzling hot plate and the food was delicious. Unfortunately my friend's entree was a disappointment. I walked into the establishment aroung 6:30 PM 10/24/2019 and the server greeted me right away. She asked where I would like to sit and let me know the server would be with me shortly. I had to wait over 5 minutes before someone else came to my table. I can't recall ever having to wait that long for service. Other than that the service would have been 5 stars. I ordered the grilled chicken, pasta, broccolli, and mashed potatoes that came with fried onion rings as well. The chicken, broccolli, and mashed potatoes were cooked to PERFECTION however the fried onion rings were "fried" tasting and the pasta that came with it was luke warm instead of hotter . The parking places for this option were gone and no instructions on app and was not told to park beside door (which had no sign). We are still sitting at the table an hour and a half later waiting on our main course... but four of my party is done with there main course.. how do entrees get delivered before appetizers? The manager fed us excuses and said he would "take a couple dollars off". We were charged for additional drinks, and got literally $6 off.. wow. I don't care about the money sir. I care about eating my salad before my entree; about sharing a meal with my friends; about fresh, hot food (not food sitting in the window)... on the upside, our server Amanda Kehren was great! Also, the 6 and 8 oz steak were the exact same size. It took 2 times to get buffalo wings sent to the table. The appetizer was the last thing to get here. The last few times I have picked up at the Curb Side Pick Up they have left stuff out of my order. The last time the left a major part of one of the order. It isn't that hard to check an order before bagging it up and sealing it. The manager was very apologetics and added a dessert but having to drive across town really was a pain. Horrible! Ordered 2 Oriental Chicken salads for curbside. Supposed to be ready at 5:02. Waited 15 minutes for them to come out an tell me part of order wasn't available because they were out of something. Offered a substitute. Finally got my order at 5:28.
