    Margarita flight
    Chris C.

I have three words for you if you're going to come here, esp for happy hour: DIRTY BONG WATER!! Dirty bong water is what they would call a foo foo drink. Essentially it is a bunch of sweet liqueurs mixed together. The thing about it is that my husband has not ordered it in more than 20 years probably and still, somehow, they still have the recipe to make it. It wasn't just one of those drinks that you had to ring in different parts for, the string was still programmed into the bars menu on the register. Crazy. I had the flight of margaritas. They were OK. I guess I was expecting more but why, I'm not sure. I think I was just hopeful. I was really hoping for a lot from the passionfruit margarita. it didn't really have that great passionfruit POW! It didn't quite give me a buzz, but it gave me a little tickle. It was good enough. My family and I had just eaten when we got together with our cousins for happy hour. So, we only had some drinks. We did not eat. The waitress was a very friendly lady. I think she's been there a while. She was very loose, uncomfortable chatting with us. She was a lot of fun. But most importantly, she was very good at her job! She was taking care of several tables and didn't miss a beat. She really was a lot of fun. I like that this location has a great amount of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What was nice too actually was that the restaurant wasn't super busy at the start of happy hour.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Queso arrived cold

Been a minute since we frequented this location. This is the location near the mall, on Southcenter Blvd, conveniently located to all the shopping; however, do not recommend. Would rather go to the Grady Way location. Reasons: [[HIGHLIGHT]]less than clean, tables and chairs scattered about with giant empty gaps (ambience)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], slow wait staff, food came out cold (service). I needed to leave earlier than the rest of my party and this could not be facilitated by the wait staff without checking ALL of us out - which seemed unnecessary but maybe a result of their checkout system. Specifically, ordered the "white queso" and chips appetizer. It was terrible. So bland and the chips were like the neglected stepchild of Tostitos - flavorless and not crispy. If you are a queso fan absolutely do not get this. Friends were satisfied with their wonton tacos and the bourbon steak. The Crown Whiskey Sour was quite tasty.

We were stranded by a late flight. It was midnight. Nothing was open. Wait. Applebees is open til 1:00 am. Hail an uber. Stranded and starved -- there's nothing quite like an Applebees in a strange city in a strange part of town after midnight. Food was great and service was better. Thank God we got an uber back to the airport motel ...

I found wet wipes under my fries. Unacceptable. Put them on the table not in the food or on the plate!

Dear Restaurant Management, I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident that occurred today. I found wet, wipe napkins underneath my fries. When I inquired with the server, she explained that the wet wipe was meant to be on the side of the plate and must have slipped into the sauce underneath the fries. I am concerned about this as I do believe wet wipes should be anywhere near the food due to sanitary reasons. I would like to request that management, consider placing the wet wipes on the table separately in the future, rather than on or near the plates. I appreciate that the waitress removed the item from my bill.

    Boneless Wings refills

We came here for the unlimited boneless wings deal that's going on for a limited time. Despite being quite busy and having folks waiting in the lobby, we were able to get a seat in the bar area almost immediately. Our server (who I think was the/a manager) was fantastic and gave us a full heads up about how the wait for the wings and their refills might take a bit longer because of how full the restaurant was and how they've been running low on wings. He helped us with our order and got one refill ahead of time as well just to make sure the kitchen could get things out timely for us! The wings themselves were as expected and weren't bad at all. The sauces were great and my favorite was the lemon garlic. The buffalo was a bit too funky for me and the BBQ was also not bad. We stopped at the first refill because we got full already, but were satisfied.

    AYCE Boneless wings and Riblets

After visiting the Renton location, we decided to come here because we waited for 15 minutes, and no one greeted us. However, we were immediately greeted and seated within 5 minutes at the Southcenter location despite the dining room being close to full capacity. Our server was attentive and provided us with excellent customer service. My friend and I ordered the AYCE boneless wings and riblets with fries. The dish was heavy since it was all fried food, so we could barely clear a plate. The protein quality could have been better, but it did the job. I enjoyed the double-crunch shrimp we ordered later on as it felt less heavy on the stomach. Additionally, the price for AYCE was about $15 per person, which is okay. Overall, I would revisit this location as I have received excellent service, and the food quality is slightly better than other Applebee locations. The AYCE was a one-time experience, and I would choose something else from the menu. Also, you can never go wrong with their Happy Hour menu.

This place has always been my go to happy hour for quick cheap grub. The chicken wings are my favorite although it is no longer part of the HH. Service is always quick and friendly. Will keep coming back.

I've eaten here many times, I always sit at the bar. Server are always attentive and nice, Anhara & do very well. Even the manager Flo has made me a custom shot. Burger is great, I always get a double. As for Sirloins I think the 8oz here is way better than the 6oz. Wonton tacos are an interesting appetizer. Overall very cool I'll always come thru for the chill vibes.

After 7 nights of cruise food, we were ready to try something new and local. Sharp's was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and highly rated, so I figured we would give it a shot. We arrived at the restaurant to a full parking lot with people standing outside. However, when we went in, the wonderful hostess informed us there was no wait. The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. Throughout the whole meal, Sam was so attentive and chatting with us about the restaurant and dessert options. I truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there. Charcoal Grilled Pork Chop: coconut-ginger braised collard greens, grilled spring onion, pork jus, wasabi butter (4/5). The Double cut portion was cooked to medium. It was tender, juicy, and the juices had a sweetness to it. The wasabi butter was good and not overpowering. I'd order this again. Superfood Salad: white bean hummus, quinoa, kale, carrots, blueberries, golden berries, cashews, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, avocado, herbs, feta, lemon-sesame vinaigrette (4/5). My wife really enjoyed her salad. I admit it was full of good ingredients but a tad bit heavy-handed on the dressing. Don't get me wrong the vinaigrette was delicious. Banana Bread Pudding (5/5) - Moist, crisp on the edges, and smothered in warm caramel sauce - this decadent bread pudding paired with vanilla ice cream was absolute perfection! My husband and I were visiting the Burien Farmer's Market and decided to stop in for lunch here. The day before our area experienced a heat wave. Apparently this effected this place of business. There were fans going everywhere, no a/c in place; I was hesitant to enter and I should have gone with my instincts. It wasn't awful so that we couldn't stand it, so we stayed. We had a very friendly waitress, wish I could remember her name but she was very good. I ordered a peach tea and my husband ordered a cider, I believe it was pineapple and another fruit based. I ordered the Ahi Taco Wrap and my husband ordered the Luna Fish and Chips. My husband's drink arrived with an apology from another server as she poured the wrong drink for him. He was gracious and took it anyway. Out come our plates. I tasted my husbands fish and found it seriously lacking in flavor; nothing great here. Now let's get to my Ahi wrap; I had serious issues with this. This includes tuna, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw with chipotle aioli and lime on the side. House made chips and salsa were included. The wrap was hugely disappointing. The ratio of tuna to coleslaw was seriously off. 90 percent of this wrap was coleslaw. The chips weren't fresh and the salsa was just ok, had a sweet type of base, which I don't like in my salsa. The lime included was stale and I couldn't get a drop out of this. The chipotle was so so. The coleslaw had no distinctive cilantro lime flavor. This dish was entirely disappointing and priced at 19.95. Never again. My husband's dish had two pieces of fish and was priced at 18.50. So after the cost of the drinks, the meal was over 60. Shame on us for a few things: 1. For not looking closely at the prices 2. And for most importantly, for simply not grabbing a decently priced hot dog at the farmers market. I'm positive this would have been better and a better deal. We will not be back to this place. The only reason I gave this a one star was for the waitress and the peach tea. Seriously.

I think nothing of it, but...thinking of the 5 dollar bill on the counter; the situation was from over a week prior: I had previously visited BZ's and left a few origami rings behind (while the boy was bartending). I enjoy origami in the oddest places‍...I digress. A ring, I left for a young woman who I'd had a conversation with and happened to startle in the process of leaving behind the origami ring, happened to be the girlfriend of the incompetent bartender boy in question. There was absofreakinlutely no malice intent whatsoever; I was having an inspirational moment and decided to make some rings for some women. Is is my fault he's a jealous little man?! No! At the time I didn't know she was his girl and when I found out she was I still didn't care; it's her life, she can do better! Finally I decided to personally address his shitty service compared to the cook's excellent service and suddenly a bunch of white guy customers, and 2 white girls wanna jump me...Not kidding! You took up for a crappy bartender because he makes your drinks heavier than the rest. Sad fact when you watch the boy pour‍ That's why I deliberately waited until the cook was covering for him; his drinks were straight up and indiscriminately made! The crumpled up $5, went to the cook along with all of my tips for the night, solely because he's a man, a better bartender and a professional while on the job, not a vindictive, whiny, jealous little boy! I've enjoyed BZ's tremendously in the time I've visited, sorry to say, until they lose the boy bartender, I'm out!
