Kids meal pizza
Renee B.

Stopped in today after school with my grandson. This was his pick. No one was at the entrance when we came in. Shortly after we were greeted and immediately seated. He had the pizza kids meal and I had the appetizer sampler with quesidilla, onions rings and shrimp. I can't remember the name of his drink that he enjoyed so much. My drink of choice was the $3 jack mixed with Pepsi for happy hour. It wasn't crowded so our food came out in a timely matter. Everything was pretty good. Great place to dine on a budget.

This was a perfect Applebees experience. The food was exactly what I was expecting, the server was on top of things, and I was able to be in and out in 30 minutes. Was this an outstanding meal or one that's going in my top 10? No. But it was perfectly, consistently mediocre in the best possible way and just what I wanted.

I love Applebees and this location is awesome! The staff is always nice and friendly, they have great deals and the bartenders are great at making you feel like family. The prices and flavor is always on point here.

I really enjoy this Applebees. I'm not the biggest fan of Applebees but my friend and family are and I never have a bad experience. I think it's the menu that seems to never change every time I randomly show up. I'm just tired of the same thing every time since I've been a kid. The service is always fine, nothing outstanding but nothing horrible. The appetizers being half off and the dollar mar-no-Rita that they always have is boring. Other than that, it's a chill spot. It's just like any other Applebees and they're all just fine.

In comparison to the Applebees at Largo, this one is more tranquil ambience. Our waitress Deon was very nice and friendly since the start. I asked for a really sweet drink rec and they brought me a strong Long Island--It was hella sweet I loved it, they mentioned it had 5 of something, can't remember now, LOL. I ended having 2 and my friend had 2 of some that had 'Mama' in the name, no clue. Deon, also personally made our drinks which we appreciate. They still have all you can eat boneless and I'm so glad I didn't miss out of the experience. My friend and I tapped out at the 3rd serving. Your first plate includes 7 boneless & your other servings are 4c. I tried the Garlic Parmesan first(soggy & too greasy) , then Buffalo (taste like Red Hot sauce) and lastly Asian chili(i hated the taste, reminds me of carry-out beef but can't remember the name of, I just don't like flavor it got). Buffalo for the win, fries were good, not soggy and crisp was leveled. The coleslaw portion only came with first plate and I would prefer that over the ranch that tastes like blue cheese, idk. Lastly, we used the restrooms and while you see a lil bit of mess, for the most part these were clean and smell REALLY nice, like a whole raspberry fragrance. I don't usually eat at Applebees(once a year) but I think I could come back to this location next year.

My daughter and I were in the area trying to decide where to grab a bite. She hasn't had Applebees in years. So we decided to give it a try. The last time I was here I tried the oriental chicken salad. It was okay last time so I went with that again. And again it was okay. For an appetizer we tried the chicken wonton tacos which was the star of the meal. My daughter tried the garlic Parmesan wings. Which she did not enjoy. Along with the four cheese Mac & cheese. Which looked like they boiled some pasta and sprinkled the cheese on top and served it just like that. I failed to get a picture before we sent all of her food back. The greeters were good and our waiter Zachary was awesome I'm not giving up on Applebee's however it isn't one of my first choices.

Curbside pick up shrimp special

Tonight, we decided to treat ourselves to carryout. We ordered online, which was quite easy. Since Applebee's was having a special on shrimp, we ordered the 8 oz. Sirloin with green beans and mashed potatoes and of course the $1 shrimp (a dozen fried shrimp). As soon as I left the door and made it halfway down the road, I received a text. I texted back that I was on the way and texted when arrived. The young man who came out, was very polite and courteous and advised my order will be out shortly. I didn't think to check my order before I left, since it was only 1 order. As soon as I got my order, I drove home, which is less than 10 away from the restaurant. My food was hot, and kept well. The only that was a disappointment was to only find 11 pieces of shrimp. I would give the server 5 stars . Quality of Food Total Satisfaction cost you stars due to promising to serve 12 pieces of shrimpand ended up 1 less.

Had a wonderful experience, restaurant was nice and clean, enjoyed my Bourbon chicken and shrimp which arrived at the table nice and hot, also received top tier service from Jaeda.

What you see is what you get at Applebees. Please don't come here expecting more than what it is. I prefer Applebees over TGI, Olive Garden, etc. it's definitely way better quality. My tip is to also go when they're not super busy so you can get better service and food! My meal was delicious! Would only come back to this one or the one in Columbia. Location also matters!

Red Sangria
Kiera W.

We stopped by in hopes of a quick cheap dinner. Let me preface this with saying that attentiveness is so important. Upon entering the restaurant, we waited a minute too long to be greeted by the young servers. Once seated, it took over five minutes for our waitress to greet us at our table. We ordered our drinks, I decided on a red sangria and waters were served also. The appetizer was mozzarella sticks and they were freshly made but the after taste was bitter as if they were cooked in old oil. Finally, the entrees are served but without napkins and silverware. We waited over 5 minutes for the silverware which was a bit annoying because we were both ready to dig in. Now, his food seemed to be fine. My food however, was served with mushrooms that I asked be removed. The chicken and shrimp was cooked well temperature wise. However, both were lacking the bourbon flavor ... the meal was rather plain. The bill comes and we pay. $60 for a blah experience. I will not return.

First, the food quality has declined compared to my previous visits over the years. I have been a loyal customer for a long time, and what I received was not consistent with how the dish has been prepared before. When I politely asked the server (Katie) to take the plate back because it was not as expected, she became upset and responded in an unprofessional manner. She questioned what was wrong and stated that the dish would come out of her check. I calmly explained that I have been coming here for many years and that the preparation was different from before. Her response was inappropriate--she mentioned that "Mr. Papas died in November," which I found disrespectful and unnecessary. Regardless of any internal changes, this is not something that should be communicated to a customer in that manner. I then asked to speak with a manager and explained the situation. Unfortunately, the server continued to behave rudely while I was addressing the issue. This experience did not reflect professionalism, respect for customers, or the standards I had come to expect from your establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both service and customer experience moving forward.

There is however a dress code which comes as a surprise given it's not a super fancy restaurant imo. Granted I have never seen anyone come dressed short of nice and presentable so I'm unsure how strict they are about it. Food wise, we got calamari for the table and this time I got the crab imperial. I was skeptical because I always get the crab cakes and I was unsure how I would like it given how heavy it sounded but it was delicious! I have to say I preferred it over the crab cakes 1) price point 2) quantity of lump crab meat 3) enjoyable throughout as it was not dry so it paired nicely with the sides.

I ordered the chicken quesadilla, the husband ordered wings and french fries. The chicken quesadilla was delicious, served with salsa and sour cream. The wings were a little dry but the fries were great. I was going to give Freddie's 4 stars until I woke up the next morning and saw the 18% gratuity charged to my bill. I was overwhelmed with the taste of the selection. I enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and the pulled pork sliders the best. The Greek pasta salad and the pretzels weren't too bad. The chicken tenders needed salt in the cooking process because they were bland and the honey mustard didn't do any favors. The crab dip was disappointing. I've had their crab dip before and I liked it but this time, it just tasted off. I feel like I tasted more cream cheese than crab. For this shindig, the drinks were the clear winner. This was a nice and spacious event space with high top tables and chairs in addition to a long bar area. There were flat screen TVs mounted on the walls, so checking out the latest sporting events was not an issue. We got our bingo cards and dabblers and looked over the menu to order. There were two menus; the brunch menu and the traditional CVP menu. We got something from both: the CVP wings (mild), with tater tots from the traditional menu and paired it with the bottomless brunch drink package, which included your choice of house Bloody Mary, mimosa, screwdriver or Natural Light draft beer (you have to stick with one choice). The servers were pleasant and we placed our orders at the bar. The food arrived in about 30 minutes, but was warm, not as hot as I wanted. The wings were cooked well with a mild buffalo sauce and the tater tots came in a small metal bucket; enough for up to 4 people. They were fresh and not greasy, just wished they were hotter. This is Puerto Rican pitorro, also known as ron cañita, made with care and intention rather than gimmickry. Many local liquor stores now carry the brand, and it is well worth picking up a bottle, but visiting the distillery is an experience in itself. The founder is a fellow Puerto Rican born retired military member, a background I share, and like me, he has put down roots in Maryland. That story is reflected clearly in the brand's own framing, "Puerto Rican born, Maryland made." The space feels grounded and unpretentious, and that sensibility carries through to the hospitality. We arrived late on a Saturday and were still welcomed warmly, never rushed. We were taken care of by the founder's daughter, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She guided us through a flight that included the traditional pitorro, almond, pineapple, coffee, coconut chai, and several seasonal offerings. The flavors were thoughtful and well balanced; even the infused expressions retained a clear rum backbone rather than drifting into novelty. We enjoyed them enough to leave with several bottles. This is artisanal pitorro done right, rooted in Puerto Rican tradition and confidently made in Maryland. Buying it locally is convenient, but going to the distillery is where the people, the story, and the spirit fully come together.
