Had dinner at Applebee's last night and found the food salty and the service was slow. The steak was undercooked and over cooked on the same piece of meat. I'm not sure I would recommend eating here. read more

Good was very salty regardless how you ordered. Always the same never change. If complained, reason was they like salty. Don't go if the place is packed, service for drinks and food will be very slow. If you order anything, just ask for zero salt, since there's already salt on the table. read more

They couldn't get a sweet tea right instead it was unsweetened tea.I got the same thing to day as I got last week and it was better.I don't think it is worth the money.I have had Applebee's like 22 times and all the times it has been better over all they need to have better workers also if you are going to have games at your table then don't charge money this place isn't worth the time or money.I WOULD NOT EAT HERE IF I WERE YOU!!!! read more

Food is ok. Tables a little sticky. Starting to smell "restauranty". Getting pricey for the food amount you get. But for Sidney, it's still a staple place to go. Do the half price appetizer after hours for your best value. read more

The food was decent. Manager- awful. The employees were all busting their butts but you could tell they were significantly understaffed. Manager wandered around and asked people if they were okay while tables all around us were dirty. The hostess was running her butt around both seating tables and bussing tables at the same time. Very poor experience. Managers need a reality check on what it means to manage people and be a team player. read more

Tonight was unforgettable at the Sidney Applebees. Arrived and hostess had the demeanor of the walking dead...seriously. When seated we asked hostess for a booster seat to accommodate our three year old little girl. Waitress arrives, takes drink order and once again we ask for a booster seat. Drinks are brought and at that moment our daughter falls from a tall seat to the floor. Told waitress we'd still like a booster. Asked for blue cheese dressing, got ranch. Asked two more times for blue cheese. Entrees brought to table and I got up and requested blue cheese from bartender. Got dressing from bartender, walked back to table and ate salad. Entree cold. Steak ordered medium and was well done. Mac and cheese ordered for daughter from kids menu...Mac and chicken costing more was brought to table. Waitress promised to take extra cost off and never did. Still no booster seat. Waitress disappears, not to be seen anywhere again until ready for bill and to exit asap. Kid played with the Applebees provided table tablet and somehow added two dollars to the bill. Smallest, worst steak I've had in a long while. Substandard and mediocre are two very kind words describing our experience tonight. read more

Just went in this evening for dinner. Food was great, drinks were great, and our server, Cole, was great! My only complaint is the people manning the host stand. Didn't catch any of their names. Two girls and a boy. The brunette girl hostess was walking backwards in through the door and stumbled into my boyfriend as we were trying to exit, stepped on his foot and everything. She was very apologetic, not a big deal. BUT the blonde girl hostess thought that this was the funniest sight in the world and guffawed for what seemed like an eternity. Hilarious when you walk into patrons and cause them pain, right? Try hiring some more pleasant, polite host/hostesses, Applebee's! These immature high schoolers just aren't cutting it. read more

This is probably my least favorite place to eat in the area. I have tried to go back a few times in the hopes that things have improved, but NOPE! Tonight we tried again. The host tried to seat the 5 of us at a 4 person booth and there were larger open tables. It took 20 minutes to be able to order. Our drinks order was wrong - not sure how you mess up 4 waters and a diet soda! It was another 40 minutes before our food came out and it was wrong. Then when we asked about our appetizers (chips and Spinach dip) we were told the kitchen was behind, which would make better sense if the table next to us who ordered after us didn't get the same damn appetizer before we did. Our app came out 10 minutes AFTER our dinner. We then had to ask for the check. After we gave the waiter the bill and credit card, we didn't see him again until we asked for our card back and to sign the bill! Never ever again. read more

This place deserves a -5!!. New years eve 2pm, not very busy. Family of 3. Several waitresses walked by, not a single acknowledgement. After 15 minutes went to hostess to find out situation, she took drink order. That took 5 min for 3 sodas. After another 5 mins still no waitress, finally walked out. We chose Applebee's to eat out with friends. Once we were seated, we all commented on the music. It seemed louder than usual and their choice of songs seemed sort of 'in your face'. It was a different style than we were used to hearing there, and was grating enough for us to comment on and to think twice before choosing that particular restaurant again. The food was good, as usual and the service was fine. Before this, Applebee's would have been one of our top choices of places to eat with friends. I would imagine if our group was uncomfortable with the type and intensity of the music, maybe others felt the same. It would be a shame for something so easily changed to run off customers when the rest of our dining experience was quite enjoyable. read more

I went with a group of ten to this Applebees. We sat at different tables, which wasn't a huge deal considering they only had one table big enough for the group and it was already occupied. We got our drink orders but never received any refills until we asked, our food took over 40 minutes, and no dirty plates were grabbed until we sat them on the ledge out of our way to make room for our food. No tables around us were bussed and we had to hunt the other tables for a ketchup that wasn't empty (it took 4 tables) Then my burger had a hair in it, and 2 of the people I was with did not receive their burgers to order (both ordered no pink with pickles and no sauce, both received pink without pickles and with sauce). All of our fries were cold and my grandmother's onion rings were so burnt the onion inside was crispy and brown. Also, our waitress and the manager were kissing right in the lobby, directly in front of our tables, which seemed extraordinarily unprofessional. All in all not impressed in the least. Nobody was rude it just seemed as though they weren't interested in doing their job. As a waitress myself I hate to leave a bad review, but this was honestly ridiculous on a Sunday night when they were not busy. read more

Went on a Friday night close to 6, expected some delay. Had 5 kids(3 under age of 5), 3 adults. Was told 30 min wait. Asked after one hour about a table because is looked like we had been penciled in and they took others before us.Took forever to clear the table for us. Finally seated. Waitress not motivated. Friendly, a bit too friendly, people should NOT keep grabbing a 4 mon olds hands which she does put in her mouth. Grr! Too long to order, got drinks, forever for appetizer of chips and sauce for kids to tide them over. Waited, Waited. Over an hour to get our food. Mind you we ordered 2 meals, one salad entree(which turned out to be all carrots and cabbage, very little lettuce), kids got mac and cheese, chicken, yogurt meals. Simple meals. Finally got food at 8:30 and the only thing hot was THE PLATE. All food lukewarm, the mac and cheese was like it had come out of the fridge. Extremely disgusting for over $70. for both my daughters family and the 2 of us combined. We left at nine, 3 HOURS LATER. The only good thing was the kids who were starving but very well behaved. This restaurant needs to be MANAGED!!! We should have complained to the manager but who wants to wait longer after being there the length of time we were.
