I have to say I had a great meal. Their $9.99 burger, fries and a drink deal was really good. The bacon burger was hot,fresh, and juicy. The fries were hot and fresh as well. Service was great. The wife had a a soup and salad and loved it. I checked Mc Donald's just to see how much a bacon qrt. pounder meal was and it was $10.89. Folks this was so much better than anything I've had at Micky D's in a while. They get a bad rap but I'll be back soon! read more

Without a doubt many casual dining restaurants have declined significantly since 2020; although, I believe it as little to do with the "state of the workforce" and more to due with a corporate decision to provide less for more cost. I have always considered Applebee's to be a relatively dependable travel choice but this location proved that theory wrong!! We visit mid-afternoon on a Saturday so the place was relatively empty (past lunch rush and too early for dinner) so one would expect the service to be at leading acceptable. While we were quickly seated and addressed by a waitress I have to say it was quite possibly the worst waitress we have experienced! She clearly didn't want to be there and was so blunt, "short" , and unfriendly that we were actually uncomfortable asking her for anything! She never offered a refill on drinks or even a dessert option. The food was mediocre (that is being very generous). The salad was bitter and the salmon was the thinnest I have seen served. I might add that we tipped as if the service was fine but, because of the service we will never visit this location again. Because of the quality of food it is unlikely we will choose an Applebee's as this is likely representative of corporate decisions. read more

The waitress was very nice, brought appetizer quickly. She never said your food will be out soon or anything, just avoided us. Lunchtime but it wasn't crowded. Took over 30 minutes to bring out soup and 1/2 sandwiches. Sandwich had sat there awhile but soup was hot. read more

I would never go back to this place again. We were a group of 3 adults, a 12 year old, and a baby. Upon entering, we were told a 10-15 minute wait. We waited and waited. People that came in after us were being seated before us. Finally, 30 minutes later, they told us they couldn't seat us until a table opened up that was big enough because of our car seat. Evidently, they can't have someone sit at the end of the table. After waiting even longer they finally allowed us to sit someone at the end of the table. That took 45 minutes. The wait staff have absolutely no urgency. This was a busy night and they walked around slowly as if they didn't care. They took our drink order and forgot one. Took forever to get the forgotten beer, as it sat on the bar and waited a good 10 minutes to make its way to us. The chips were stale. They forgot my sons side. Took well over 10 minutes to get a spoon. They didn't put sauce on a burger that was supposed to have sauce. It was just a terrible experience. We were still charged for everything. And finally ate and left more than 2 hours later. If you want Applebees go to another, this one is getting ran into the ground. read more

Should have turned around at the door. Employees were openly bitching about a bartender who walked out the night before. Couple at table waiting on bill. Finally went to bar and asked for bill. Bartender said $30.10. Customer said can I have a bill and she said you will get 3 copies after you pay. Lady gave me a WtF look. After they left bartender just talked about the couple. "I only make $5 an hour I don't need that". Should be making $40+ Ann but hour if had any people skills. My wife won't go to an Applebees. I keep giving them chances. This place has really gone downhill. First we had to wait 20 minutes to even get our drinks. The salad was old out, and the plates were hotter than our food. Most of which was dried out like sand. The music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think, severely short staffed. Would not recommend. We will not be back. read more

I have always loved Applebee's. A friend and I went there for lunch today. I ordered the combo appetizer. My friend and I took home leftovers. Tonight I was eating a chicken tender with honey barbecue sauce. I took a couple of bites and just happened to look down and I saw RAW chicken. I spit it out knowing all the while I had eaten some of it raw. My friend said she did not notice. So hopefully, her's were done. Now, I'm waiting to see if I get food poisoning and I sure hope my friend is ok. I won't go back there EVER! read more

We had just got done taking our granddaughter shopping and decided to stop in your store for dinner. We ordered our food and two hours later we are getting our food we were told the cooks called off and the managers had to cook, you would think that the managers could cook food and get it out to their customers. they then said they discounted our food and never did. it will be al long time before we visit your establishment again. My husband and I occasionally order to go from here for our family. If you haven't tried the online ordering service I definitely would! The online ordering service is easy to use and if you only have cash it's one of the few places you can place an order and pay at the restaurant still. Our food is always great and it's nice to have a full meal for the family without the dishes or time in the kitchen. We have ordered here dozens of times and none of our orders have ever been wrong. It's also nice to be able to have a drink while your waiting if you show up a few minutes early. read more

Three stars sometimes service is slow even when they aren't busy. But they are quick to mess up your order, not the waitress but the cooks. Manager is always kind and works with you and will help you anyway they can. read more

I really like Applebee's and ordered a very tasty oriental chicken salad. All was great until I crunched onto a piece of glass. The manager was very good - accommodating. It was an unfortunate find for me but everyone was good about it. Three stars only because glass should never be found in your food. read more

This place is so consistently disappointing. Must. Make. Note. To. Self. So much time passes between visits that memories from previous experience (perhaps combined with early onset dementia ?) work together inevitably leading us back through those "friendly neighborhood bar and grill" doors. And BAM its Groundhog Day all over again! WHY is it so difficult to keep someone at the hostess stand to greet and seat guests? Why is it so difficult to teach hostesses how to take names and give accurate wait times? Oh, last night probably due to that poor young lady* busting her hump to bus tables while simultaneously trying to seat the creeping number of parties gathering in the lobby. And probably doing that for coworkers not showing for their shift and kitchen crew walking out mid-shift. Yeah, probably that. Probably also why we waited so long upon being seated to be acknowledged by anyone serving. And to get drinks. And to be told to ensure the soda tasted okay since they had run out of fountain and were serving from bottles. And to overhear apologies, excuses, and offerings of compensation to nearby tables. And to have to change stalls for no toilet paper. And to watch the "manager" (loosely defined) make several passes by tables piled with dirty dishes (5 at one count, in our small section alone) and not so much as pick up a glass to return to the bar. Um, is it any WONDER why you can't get them to clear their tables; look at what you're modeling. Rocket science. Would seem the monkeys are running the zoo. Terrible experience... Went in during a,slow time.. took forever to get our order and to receive our food. The Caesar salad was dry with brown lettuce. Meals were hot but incorrect and took over 30 minutes to get. My raspberry tea tasted different with each refill. They did comp some of bill due to the mistakes. Got our food home only to realize they didnt give us any sauce for the chicken wrap, the potato soup was filled up 1/4 of the way full, no salad dressing for the salad. we get Applebee's delivery or pick up that once a month or so just because it's always good even when we get home but this last time my husband who got a bacon cheeseburger got a kids burger patty on a huge bun now how did we know that well one it was a semi square patty which is what we put on those burgers when him and I both worked at that store now it's been years but we know what it should look like we order enough that we know so I call I was told the managers were too busy to talk to me that's fine it was service I get it and the weekend so I gave my name and number was told I'd get a call back I have yet to be called back there's a problem read more

My original review seems to have vanished, so I'll post it again with added commentary. My wife and I went in around 10pm on a weeknight. It wasn't busy, you could tell by the clump of servers standing around by the bar and lack of customers. I ordered a medium well steak knowing they under cook everything and a baked potato because the mashed potatoes come out ice cold. I wasn't all that surprised when my steak came out rare and the baked potato came out room temperature. I would have informed the waitress, but we didn't see her again until my wife was done eating. When she did finally come back I explained what was wrong and asked for the manager. Our waitress disappeared for a few minutes and came back with the excuse, "Sorry, the manager is in the office and she says she's too busy to come out." Okay, time to email the corporate office. A few days later the Asst. Manager, not the General Manager, calls to offer me a free lunch. Sure, why not, I'll be there in an hour. Thinking they can't possibly screw it up when they know what happened the first time I order the same meal. The steak was bloody rare, the potato was raw. Since the meal I didn't eat was free I walked out and emailed corporate again. A week later I open my mailbox and find $30 in vouchers. Great, third time has to be the charm, right? As soon as I'm seated the Asst. Manager spots me and rushes over to take my order. For the third time I order the exact same meal. For the third time I'm served a rare steak and a cold potato. When the manager comes to check on me I ask her to taste anything on the plate. It's been sitting on my table for under five minutes at that point. She refused. Fine, box it up, I'll take it home and cook it myself. Never once did the owner or GM contact me. When I informed the Asst. Manager it was cold she said, "I temped it myself, it was perfect!" How long did it sit in the window? "It didn't!" Do not waste your money here, your food will be cold, the waitresses don't care, the managers don't care and corporate isn't doing anything to fix it. read more

I love the atmosphere of Applebees!! I always get a good vibe from the place, My only complaint would have to be that the steaks are always over seasoned. I realize that's just a personal preference but I avoid the steaks and have a new favorite in the BLT. Manager has been a bit rude a couple times but all in all not awful. read more
