We came to Applebees primarily for the nostalgia & cheap drinks. I got a 'Perfect Margarita' with mango, which came with the shaker. It was really sweet, which was to be expected, but I could at least tell there was alcohol in it! My husband ordered a Dos Equis because it looked like it was one of the deal drinks, where he'd get a 20oz, but it came in a bottle (still fine). To eat, I got a Southwest Shrimp Bowl (idk the actual name to be honest). It came with rice, shrimp, guac, pico, & a bunch of other toppings. I'd give this dish a 6/10, it was fine but not amazing. My husband got a crispy chicken, bacon, & ranch sandwich, which boasted hand-battered chicken. He said it was fine, but tasted like it'd been frozen & the fries were undercooked. The one good thing is that our server was excellent! Other than that, the table was sticky & smelled like dirty rag & the AC was cranked, so it was freezing in there. Overall, it's definitely a hanger-on from the past, I'm shocked these are still around. We won't be back any time soon.

Didn't really eat too much but was definitely there for the happy hour! Drinks were very good, the king island could be stronger. Our services was the best part. I didn't catch her name, but she was always checking in on us and making sure we have everything. She gave us the the run through of the happy hour and was very patient with us. I really adore her Got the Buffalo boneless, and it was more salty, but manageable with with ranch. Salsa was decent!

Came in to meet up with some old friends over half-off apps. Our wait staff was so kind. Food came out hot and indulgent. It's a chain and not necessarily gourmet but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was cozy and heart warming.

My husband and I chose to go to Applebee's for our 10 year anniversary and I want to thank this location for making it perfect! (they didn't do anything extra special for us, I was just pleasantly impressed with our visit) Most people wouldn't choose Applebee's for a romantic occasion, so just to be clear, my hubby and I aren't fancy people lol. With large chain restaurants such as Applebee's, you know you're gonna get the same thing wherever you go. However, I've been to some other locations where the food I order is "meh". I always order the same thing at Applebee's. I don't even look at the menu. My usual is the 4 cheese Mac with Honey Pepper Chicken tenders + bacon. It comes with a garlic breadstick, and dare I say, the breadstick is better than Olive Garden breadsticks? Our server was Skyler, and she was very sweet and attentive to our needs. We tried the dragon fruit lemonade, and it is really yummy. Not too sweet/syrupy, not too tart. I ordered a side of broccoli with my pasta dish. Broccoli is very hit/miss with restaurants that specialize in steaks and burgers, so I wasn't expecting much....OMG the broccoli was to die for. I honestly could have had just a plate of that and been satisfied. It was cooked to absolute perfection. I didn't even need to ask for salt/pepper. (It must be the butter on it lol) The texture, temperature, and flavor was something I'd expect from a 5 star restaurant. I'm not exaggerating. My pasta dish was also the best one I've had at an Applebee's in a while. This sounds corny, but my food was made with a lot of care. (and no, they didn't know we were there for our anniversary!) The picture I am sharing is what's leftover since I started eating it before taking a pic of how pretty it was lol. I will definitely come back to this location! Thank you, Applebee's in Roseville!

My chips for my dip were all crushed. The beer was flat. My wings weren't entered. Very disappointing especially because we come weekly.

Honestly one of my favorite Applebee's because of the friendly staff, especially when our server is Kia! She is so friendly, understanding and fun! I recommend Kia- ask for her! Overall the food is basic, classic American, but worth if it you're wanting some late night bites as you sip your beer or cocktails as happy hour is everyday 9pm- close. Happy hour is 1/2 off appetizers and some drink specials. Otherwise, the 2 for $22 or 2 for $27 is also a good deal and worth looking into. Personally I like the bourbon chicken and shrimp!

Applebee's have been around for a very long time . I got especially excited when they brought one of my favorite desserts back, the chimicheesecake. This location has been good. Great atmosphere for happy hour and always a friendly staff . They've added a new thing where you can play games or order things or even pay your bill without needing your server . I was a little sad that it seemed to take a long time for our server to come when we chose to call server but it's ok. He was awesome because he was very much on top of keeping our drinks full. My brother got a strawberry lemonade . When he noticed my brother was slurping them down quickly he started giving him 2 cups at a time . Very considerate. Great place to go to get a happy hour meal and they have Monday burger deals. I think it's Wednesday where you can participate in bingo .

Sometimes I crave a simple cheeseburger from Applebee's. They are really good here. My boyfriend likes them too.

It comes out in a cake dish just filled with smoke from the smoker. As the waitress takes the top off, she swirls the top around and makes the smoke go around the pizza. The pizza was so delicious! Then we kept seeing these desserts go past us and decided we needed to order one! We got the cookies and cream psycho milkshake! It's not what we expected at all and it was so light and delicious and it went down very nicely! lol We will definitely be back!

The space is quite large with open seating - something I'd expect is great for a large group. I asked if we could combine some tables and the staff said they'd do it for us. We ended up having a table for 8. While more people in my group showed up than expected, we ended up adding a few more chairs. With the open seating and lots of tables available, we thought it would be fine. However, the staff didn't seem to be too happy with us. Our group had not gotten together in a while, so a couple of us had switched chairs to talk with different people. The server said in a very rude way, "You guys need to stop switching seats. I can't keep track of your orders and you want this on separate checks, right?" We had never asked for separate checks and I would have offered to pay on one check if it made it easier, but she left right after saying that. Towards the end of our stay, after paying and enjoying some last minute shakes (around 9:15pm, they close at 10), the same server started putting away the metal chairs VERY loudly and carelessly while we were still finishing up. We all watched her throw the chairs on top of each other as we stayed silent because we couldn't hear each other over her stacking them. We took the hint and left. Everyone inside the restaurant followed after. I assume because they, too, felt awkward as she was loudly cleaning up. The food was mid at best, the beer selection and unique combinations are great, but the bad service made the experience miserable. I didn't notice the server treating any other guests as bad as our table, so I am just not sure why she treated us the way she did. I definitely won't be back.

The place was definitely short staffed...it seemed as though the only waitress was also the bartender so service was a bit slow. It was still busy in the restaurant from the game. I also politely asked if they could change a tv so I could watch my alma mater's football game. I'm a patient person but that took roughly 20ish minutes for her to change it...I think she forgot and then all of a sudden remembered. I ordered what I ordered the last time which was the chimichurri cauliflower steak bowl. It was great but missed the lime wedge it had on my last visit. The food was good. I also noticed that when she did have time to check in on my hubby who was drinking beer she didn't notice that my drink was empty as well as my sons. Therefore she didn't ask if we needed a refill. Hopefully the service will be better next time.

From the hostess who graciously held the doors open for us in the 95° heat to our incredible server, David, everything was outstanding. We started with cocktails. I had what may have been the best bourbon Old Fashioned I've ever tasted, and my wife enjoyed a wonderfully refreshing cocktail (whose name I, unfortunately, can't remember). We began our meal with the roasted Brussels sprouts. Normally, I'm not much of a Brussels sprouts fan, but I happily cleaned the plate. My wife and I shared the 12-ounce filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was absolute perfection. Chef's kiss. David recommended a bottle of wine to pair with our steak. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth every penny. But wait... there's more. As incredible as that wine was with the filet, it somehow paired even better (yes, I know that sounds impossible) with the slice of heaven they call chocolate cake. I'm sure it has a much fancier name on the menu, but "slice of heaven" seems more accurate. If you've read my other reviews, you know I have a tendency toward hyperbole. If there were ever a time to lean into it, this is it. THIS MEAL WAS FANTASTIC. THE AMBIANCE WAS PERFECT. THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. AND THE COMPANY WAS DIVINE. We will absolutely be back--and when we do, we'll be asking for a table in David's section. (He works Tuesday through Friday.)

I started with the tequila and mezcal Old Fashioned, and it was fantastic. It was well-balanced, beautifully presented, and garnished perfectly. The food was equally impressive. The wings were delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My only small note would be that the celery was a little limp. The Caesar salad has officially been added to my regular rotation. The jammy egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, yolky center that was still easy to slice. The Parmesan crisps were thoughtfully sized, adding great texture without being so large they scraped the roof of your mouth. The salad was evenly dressed, making every bite flavorful. Overall, excellent food, outstanding cocktails, and warm, attentive service. I'll definitely be back.

There is plenty of parking in the mall's parking lot, and I would say it is pretty handicapped accessible. The restaurant seems to be trying to be an elevated bar and restaurant, but I would say it is a fairly typical bar and restaurant, pretty much what you would expect. The restaurant is family friendly. The bar area has a couple of TVs, showing sports, and you can generally see them from most of the dining area as well. The bar area has high top tables, and the restaurant area has mostly booths with a few regular tables. The restaurant was fairly empty so we were seated right away. The ambiance was nothing super special, but it was nice, and it was clean. The lighting was dimmed, but was still very bright enough to see the menu well, and see everything else. There appeared to be a patio, but I didn't go look at it. Our server was quite friendly, efficient, answered questions well, and had a good sense of humour. He took our drink order and the drinks came out quickly (we were not drinking alcohol that night so I can't comment on the promptness of that). My husband ordered the patty melt and I ordered the cobb salad. The food was delivered fairly quickly as well. My husband said the patty melt was good, he ordered it rare and it was perfectly rare. It had thousand island dressing on it, which was a nice touch and tasted good. His side was baked beans, which were a little too Smokey for his taste, but good. He also had a side salad which was good. The cobb salad was good, pretty much what you would expect. The balsamic vinegar dressing was very good. Portions were ample, not too much, not too little. Payment was a little awkward. They brought an electric payment system to your table, which is fine, but the server watched every step, presumably to give instructions if needed, but he continued to watch when you were giving the tip, which I found to be awkward and a little rude. He did say thank you right away, so that was nice I guess. When we were done eating and had paid we were not rushed at all to get out. In general a pleasant experience, but nothing special.

We grabbed seats at the bar and were attended to almost immediately. The bartenders were fantastic and probably one of the highlights of our visit. They checked in with us regularly, made sure our drinks were good, and followed up after our food arrived. Even with the post-game crowd, the service was attentive and our food came out pretty quickly. We started with the nachos and added carne asada. While they were good, I thought they were a little overpriced for the amount of carne asada we actually received. I would have loved a more generous portion of meat, especially for the price. For my meal, I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which I enjoyed much more. It came with a generous amount of chicken and lettuce, but my favorite part was the cornbread croutons! They were such a fun and unexpected twist on a traditional Caesar salad and definitely made the dish more memorable. The space itself is HUGE, with tons of seating and screens everywhere you look, plus an outdoor area.
