Worst service ever! The waiter we had was horrible! I should have timed everything but I was more enjoying the time with my family, why do they not have some kind of note pad to take orders instead of scrap receipt papers? The manager going around "talking" to tables walks past us and I guess asking if our food was good but didn't even stop to make any kind of eye contact with anyone at our table just kept walking but did make a point to touch the table? So's I had some bizness to take care care of really early over there in Richland on a Monday morning. You'se can tell I ain't from around there can't cha. I mean that puts a mug behind the ol' eight ball from the get go don't it? My woman and I did the deal ask'in in our hotel some decent joints to get a bite to eat. We was mostly try'in ta' get that done so's we could go ta' bed cause we had an early start. This joint was on the list the hotel tol' us was good eats. Anyhow we gets on the ameche and looks em' up, gives em' a ring and orders up some chow. The jingle brain trying to take our order was no brainiac. It was tough to get it through his head. Fish and chips and a sandwich was way beyond this palookas pay grade to write down. Finally he say's he's got it and the grub will be ready in 15 minutos. We finds the joint after gett'in lost a couple times, takes us like 20 minutes, NO FOOD is ready. It's over a half hour before some broad gets the so called "food"out to the boiler we are wait'in in, no apologies, no nutt'in. She's not even pleasant. I got a cure for that, but that's a whole different story. We gets back to our hotel, the order is wrong, the food is cold and I am soooo tempted to take it back and .. well you know, but we figure it's still better than eat'in from the vending machines. I mean, we had our mitts on it at least. It didn't taste good. My fish was barely what cha' could call warm. I peeled off the gooey breading which didn't help much and ate it anyway. Wasn't long before I saw it again when it came back up. I couldn't eat the fries, they were more grease than spud so I tossed em'. The cole slaw the order comes with and which was specifically ordered wasn't in the bag. We was swindled outta dat'. My doll's sandwich was all processed meat globed with dressing. It barely stayed in her tummy, her own will keeping it there cause she hates throwing up. She still felt sick from it still when we got up. I wanted her to just hurl and get it over with but .. she wasn't up for dat. I told the hotel we was stay'in in they would be wise to never recommend Applebee's to any mug they liked. You could be a patsy and go eat at this flimflam joint if yas wanted to. Suckers are born every minute. Watch the fake news if yas' don't believe me. Places where I eat and puke are NOT on my return list. As for me, if it says Applebee's on the joint I ain't goin!! Let me see, yah, one star is as low of a rating as I can give. Went about 1ish, service wasnt terrible. SO's food was great, (classic Wburger) mine.. not so much. I would never recomend this 'new' chicken bacon ranch burger. the chicken was burnt, there was basically a wedge salad worth of lettuce on it, buns had small amount of ranch. From the pic on the menu there looked like there would be cheese and tomato on it but that was missing. It was unfortunate. Took a bite and couldnt finish it, bright side is the fries were great! On January 20 about 5:30 PM we ordered curbside. Our meals were on time so the time they said it would be ready it was ready. The food was hot it was still hot when we got home the taste was really good very tasty. We have never ordered curbside before everything went really smooth and the food was really good. read more

Food had plastic in it, to the point the server noticed the plastic and before handing me my salad she took it back and said they would remake it, cool right? Tell me why 10 minutes later I get the same plate with the same plastic in it. They never remade it they just sat it on the line and brought it back. We did takeout last night at Applebee's on Columbia Point last night and it was delish! We'd planned to go from there to one of the picnic shelters on the river but the wind was too high. We had chicken wonton tacos and grilled chicken salad, and the flavors exploded! Such a delightful mean! Curbside experience was PERFECT - we ordered and paid online, arrived exactly when they told us to, and the food was ready and quickly delivered. We too have a tendency to want to support locally owned restaurants during these strange times, but we've always enjoyed great service at this store and wanted to support the employees, many of whom have become like family, and I am glad we did! read more

This is usually a spot we enjoy and are greeted warmly at. However, we walked in with a group of 8 and went to go walk into the bar for a drink (only 1 customer in the bar area) and we were told that we needed to wait to be seated and the bar area was not an option for us. We were willing to sit in two different tables and even told the manager that we would just order some drinks and wait for a table out in the dining area. We were then told that she did not have enough staff (I saw 4 staff members) and we would need to wait 20 minutes until she could help us. I'm not sure why cause they only had two tables in the dining room area taken by small families. The manager started speaking to us rudely so we just left. I wont be going back anytime soon. Especially after I heard from a friend that they were treated the same way and they would not seat her family of 4. read more

Thought Applebee's would be a good place for dinner. I was wrong. Showed up and sat down at 5:30pm still had 30min to order half priced apps. Ordered them right away on the tablet got them in a good time. Didn't see the waitress till about 6pm when we finally got to order drinks and food. Ordered 3 French onion soups and main meals. While waiting for the food someone got a Roasters order delivered to them in the back. Should focus on the customer before yourself. Finally got the soups and dinner at 6:20pm. We had two waitresses walk past us 6 times each before one stopped to ask what we would like to drink. One table behind us had to ask for boxes 4 times then had to go and get a bag themselves and the other table had to ask for drinks that they ordered 3 times. Ordered dinner for my family tonight. Got all the way home and my husband's Burger had a hair in it. It look like an eyebrow or facial hair. He was super grossed out could not eat anything else threw it in the garbage. Kind of irritating to waste $13 on a burger that went in the trash. Well ok I had a good run for a bit and I will say the food and drinks were still good but I have to address the service and it stunk. We basically was ignored. It took close to 10 minutes after being sat before a server came over and got our drink order. No they were not busy. I'm used to the servers not bringing the food so not a biggie there but for them to not come over after and make sure the steak was cooked properly is a big deal. We love this location, however, tonight was THE WORST service we've ever had at a restaurant. Glad people are getting jobs since the COVID restrictions are lifting, but too many new employees on the same night is NOT a good idea. Got seated at 5:30 and used the table Presto to order 1/2 price appetizers. We got all three of them before I finally flagged someone down to take our drink orders. The appetizers were dropped off by a manager, male, and he didn't even ask if we needed anything else. HUGE HINT: MENUS WERE STILL ON OUR TABLE! if I could rate lower I would. they are absolutely horrible. there has been multiple times where they are missing a food item from someone's meal something as simple as fries or they just completely forgot about someone's meal entirely and just can't ever find the server to ask them for it or what might be taking so long. also if you do get the chance to tell them they blame you for not telling them sooner and then they don't even fix the mistake by compensating it on the bill. not sure what they have stuck up you know where but they really need to pull it out and figure out how hospitality actually works. I highly highly recommend you go absolutely anywhere else. I heard jack in the box next door cares about you and your food more id check it out. read more

Placed an online order for pick-up at 6:30pm on 11/17/2020. Called when we arrived and they brought it out to us. Got home to discover that the iced tea and dessert that we ordered were both missing. I don't give 5 stars but this was the best meal that I've had at an Applebee's. The wait staff was on point. The appetizer was quick and fresh. The main course (Bourbon Chicken and shrimp) was excellent! It wasn't over cooked, it was well seasoned, and it was not burnt from the hot skillet. I felt that this meal was prepared by someone that cared about what was going to customers. I do have to say the Long Island Ice Tea was the big let down, sweet and watered down. But this is the standard boxed drink that they all provide. I would like to see an actual bartender make these drinks read more

I am not from this area.... but the Applebee's in my area had turned me off from ever visiting again. I am so glad I came into this location because my experience was GREAT!!!! I ordered a Blue shark or something can't remember the name of the drunk but it was so good....it had little gummy sour rings in it and the flavor was AMAZING.....it was enough for my whole meal. For food I ordered the Bourbon chicken and shrimp. It came out on a skillet so it was good and hot. The flavor was right on point, no complaints from me:). My server was Matthew and he was very attentive as well. Due to my good experience here, I am sure I will try another one out back home, but they've set the standards pretty high here at this location so maybe I'll leave well enough alone..... read more

Went to this location for Dinner. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was really good. My girls got the 2 for $25 deal. It came with a shared appetizer and two plates of ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. My husband got the bacon burger with French fries and I got the You Pick 3 appetizer. With it I chose Steak Quesadillas, Wonton Tacos and Spinach Artichoke Dip. I also got a side Ceasar Salad and man, was it way too much food. read more

When we got there we chose to sit outside and at the time there were only 2 other tables that were taken. The minute we walked up the service was bad. We had to inform the host 3 times that there were 5 of us. As we go to sit down we grab a chair and table to set next to us so we had more room for the plates. As we were trying to set it up another employee walked by us as she was heading out and told us we could not do that. We asked why and her only response was because the table had to be 6ft apart. Then host comes back to our table and gave us only 3 silverware sets. He realized he forgot to get us a menu and went back to grab 1 menu for the 5 of us to use at which point I informed him again that we need 2 more silverware sets since there is 5 of us at which point he apologize and said he normally is not that bad. The waitress then came over a little bit later took our order and an 1 HOUR later we still did not receive our food while 6- 7 tables all had there food. My husband then got up and talked to the manager and informed her of all the issues. She informed us that we should not have encountered the issue regarding the table and we should have at least received our appetizers. She then took over our tableand then later she informed us that our order got lost in the system and she was sorry and will take care of our bill. We arrived around 4:45 and did not get out until 6:30ish. We purposely got there early so we could get out and get other errands done needless to say that fidnt happen! read more

I never been to Applebee's until about a week ago! I got a quesadilla burger and it was so delicious and there fries where amazing! I was on a date with my boyfriend and i can't remember what he ordered but he loved it! (And he's picky, believe me). As a an appetizers I had their Honey bbq wings. They were so good! I love wings, and most restaurants I tried them with i didn't care for them much, however the wings here are amazing!!! I love the food, the prices, and the staff was extremely friendly and nice. They were so good that I had actually forgot my phone there due to not paying attention, when I got halfway home and realized I forgot it, I called them and they had already found it and had it safe so when I went back to get it they had it save and sound and gave it back. Terrible! I normally like Applebees for a casual dine. This was by far the WORST. Service terrible, the place was a mess..the floors were FILTHY! The manager set us and told us to watch out for the food on the floor...he did not bother to make sure it got picked up and tables around us went un bussed or cleared for our entire meal. I ordered a steak medium and it was so well done and tough...I ate t because the server NEVER came back to fill our water or ask if everything was ok.
