    Oriental chick salad.
    Rene D.

Well well well I haven't been here in quite awhile! I met a gf for lunch today. We decided to have the lovely oriental chicken salad. Boy ... that has changed over the years. We were thinking we would have a doggie bag... nope! Hehe. It was good with grilled barely warm chicken on it. It's now in a soup type bowl very shallow too. They give u two 4oz cups of dressing. U only need one have of one and that's ALOT of dressing. They used to mix it then serve but now u can do it. Service was good. We just sat and caught up on old news after laughing at the amount of dressing we had left over. What a waste. But the flavors were good. It wasn't too busy early afternoon either.

Enjoy the 2 meal deals although didn't offer my favorite combo last visit which was the Cajun shrimp/chicken w/ garlic mash pots. darn, so good. Prices keep changing with addition fees for adding or changing meals slightly. Used to be 2 for $25 now they range from $24-30 or $32! Don't like that they hide prices on beverages. Onion rings & hot artichoke dip very good apps.

    $1 Malibu, pretty good!

There were a lot of bad reviews for this location but higher than the other location. But I really wanted to try the $1 Malibu so we made the trip here. We came in like 40 minutes before close and I was hoping we could dine in at a booth. The bar was a bit crowded and rowdy. Luckily we were greeted promptly and kindly, then seated immediately by our hostess. Our waiter, Justin (or perhaps Dustin) was amazing and attentive. He always was courteous to let us know how we had til the kirchen closed and if we needed anything. We had who I believe the manager come by and he was sweet, asking how was the food. Which brings me to the food! The food was absolutely delicious! The all you can eat chicken tenders with endless fries was actually all you can eat riblets, chicken tenders and fried shrimp. The chicken tenders were tasty and the fried shrimp was succulent! The brisket tacos and wings were soooo good! My boyfriend and I were so surprised that everything were perfect! I know how it is during the closer hour at restaurant and we usually don't feel like serving. However, this restaurant did a great job and gave us an amazing service that I haven't in at other Applebee's locations. Kudos to the team and keep it up.

    Burger!!!

I love this burger it is one of the best around! Today I was in the mood for mashed potatoes which is very unusual for me but they were able to substitute french fries for mashed potatoes and I had a lovely lovely meal. I will say our service was great until we paid the bill and when I paid the bill I asked for one more glass of water and I barely got a nod and had to go to the bar to get water for myself so that was disappointing

Sorry my Yelp friends the menu is digital for right now, but from what I see there is not much that has changed. The host was very friendly when I walked in and asked me for my name to make sure my lunch buddy would find me. They are doing a great job at social distancing the booths and all the staff is eating mask. Im not the biggest fan of this chain of restaurants. I have traveled and lived in multiple states across this great nation and it never seems to fail, either my chicken isn't cooked all the way, the shrimp is old or the staff is rude. But my lunch buddy loves Applebee's so I'm game! Let's see how it goes!!!!! I ordered the chip with trio dip minus the white Queso dip. Comes with lime chipotle and guacamole. And the garlic green beans. The black tea I ordered hot was a basic Lipton with honey. Even if it's not local at least they have honey!!! For my tea... The greens beans tasted fresh and the seasoning on them was good, not too salty but also not to much garlic, I'm a big fan of loads of garlic but I also like not having fire breath! LOL.... they were a bit soggy for my liking, would have preferred them to be sautéed it would have created more flavor with a crispy bite. The chips were okay, I prefer a thinner, crisper Texture, they weren't salty or greasy. The guacamole I believe was processed not not freshly made. From the texture of it I could tell, too smooth but left a coating on my tongue. The lime salsa also was nothing fantastic, I've had worst but I've also had better from my local grocery store. Overall It's still not my first choose to dine at, but the staff is friendly and the customer service has come along way since my last visit. Stay safe and stay healthy my friends! See you at my next bite!!!!!!!

This is my favorite Applebee's location. I'm five minutes away from the one on the opposite end of meridian but I still drive to this one. The food and service is just much better. I've been frequenting this one since 2015, even stopping in when I'm just in the area. I'm only writing a review because I realized that I had not done it before and deserve their recognition because I have walked out of many of Applebee's for awful food or service. I stick to the ones that are consistent and this one has been one of those. Even in the middle of a pandemic they are doing an amazing job. Every other table is available and I never have to wait.

This is a typical dive bar with regulars at the bar looking hazily at their libations. Soft rock played in the background and lots of high tops beside the bar. I was asked to order and picked out deviled eggs and nachos! How could you go wrong even if they were so so? Well, the joke was on our friend because they were delicious! The deviled eggs had bacon crumpled on top with sliced green onions and were served on a bed of greens! The nachos were well covered and must have been prepared in layers. My daughter had just turned 21 and we wanted to take her out, so about 10 of us headed into Bumpy's. The second we walked in we were greeted with eyerolls and a very bi**hy attitude from the bartender. Before we could even order, she yells "We don't serve anyone with a vertical". Okay - well apparently you don't like tips then? In Washington you can't get your horizontal until AFTER you turn 21. So that means the day of your 21st - you're going to have a vertical and probably will have it for the next 3-6 weeks after. Initially they tried to tell us it's the law. WRONG. The only law is that the establishment has to check the birthdate and the photo. The staff at Bumpy's wanted no part of that - which, how lazy can you get?! Call me crazy but I don't think many kids with fakes are going to get a VERTICAL fake! Use your brains Bumpy's. If the liquor board is on your a$$ for serving minors - it's not because you're serving people with vertical IDs. It's because you aren't checking the birthdate and the photo on the HORIZONTAL ID to begin with - and you clearly don't own a scanner. Zero reason to greet customers so rudely. Just bad business all around. Too bad, too.. We're good tippers. That bartender could've made about $300 just off us.

We came here for my friend's birthday and the vibe was absolutely immaculate!!!! Exactly the kind of energy you want for a special night out. Let's talk about the service: Brian and Jason are absolute legends. They took such good care of us and honestly made the whole experience 10x better. They're attentive, super friendly, and just know how to make you feel like a VIP. The bar has everything you need. Reanee is the sweetest and will customize to your hearts desire ensuring your whistle is wet Now, the food... wow. The chicken is straight-up fire, but the real game-changer is the Lemon Pepper SAUCE. I've only ever had the dry rub before at other spots, but having it as a wet sauce is a total revelation. It's zesty, peppery, and addictive... I'm never going back to dry rub again. Amazing food, killer service, and a great atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend!

In my mind it…read morewas gonna be dimly lit, old school, classy dark-colored furniture, easy listening jazzy music playing softly in the background and a warm ambiance that was inviting, once you stepped in. That's what I picture when I hear speakeasy. A very intimate setting. However, this was completely opposite. It was bright, with a mishmash of decor. I wasn't sure if there was a theme. There were fake plants and a column/pillar with mirrors on it, an Amazon Forrest mural on the wall with televisions up on a couple. Felt like a sports bar. The tables and chairs were your average styled booths, that light-colored wood. It was sooooo cold inside. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. She seemed to have a puzzled look on her face as to why we were there. My husband stated we had reservations. So now we were seated. Time to order. Looking over the menu, I see the pricing and was like "ok, a lil higher priced type of menu" I was down to give it a try. We ordered the calamari and zucchini chips for apps and then the butternut squash risotto with scallops (approx $30) for me and the brined chicken ($28) for my husband as well as a side of broccolini ($14). The apps came out first and I was honestly shocked. The calamari were so tiny and the zucchini looked like what they would serve in a bowling alley. Both dishes had the "mama lil's peppers" in it. I'm okay with the portion size but how are you charging $20 for calamari and $14 for the zucchini? Then we received our entrees. Again, we were looking for an elevated dining experience with the pricing of the food, to include presentation and all. I was disappointed to see the cheap cafeteria-like silverware and dish ware it was served on. Now understand the food was good. Not OMG WE ARE COMING BACK kinda good. But mid. Nothing wrong with that but the way they advertise is as if you are about to have a romantic, chill and classy dining experience. It's okay to be mid tier. I won't be mad about it. My dish was not butternut squash risotto, it was a mushroom risotto with 4 mid sized scallops. My husband's chicken was nicely seasoned and flavored and the mashed potatoes it came with, delish. He had caramelized carrots but some were straight black. Maybe a bit much heat. The broccolini was drowning in a cream sauce with onions and mama lil's peppers, slightly overcooked. Needless to say, it wasn't the dinner I was expecting, especially paying almost $200 for it. We did have a couple drinks and those were good. Customer service was on point. The staff were accommodating and helpful. I would kinda expect that since there were only us and another table in the dining room area. I had high hopes but sadly, not the vibe I was looking for. I've been to a fair share of a lil more upscale restaurants and this didn't hit that point for me personally. I think with lower prices and refraining from calling it a speakeasy, it could do well. Just my opinion. Oh they had a lil area for taking selfies available. Thank you for a nice date night with my hubby. We had a chance to have some one on one time together.

Prisoners at Guantanamo Bay get better service than we received…read more I'll preface this by saying it was a packed house for a Seahawks playoff game--so yes, it was busy. That was entirely expected, especially for a rival game against the 49ers. Any competent business plans and staffs accordingly. We arrived and were seated at one of the last tables we had called ahead to reserve. After 30 minutes of watching our section server walk around taking orders and delivering food and drinks to other tables, I finally had to stop her just to ask for water and a menu. Her response was simply that it was really busy. Obviously. But even in a rush, checking in or dropping waters is the bare minimum. As a former server myself, a quick "Hey folks, we're running about X minutes on food, but I can grab drinks" goes a long way in managing expectations. After another 30 minutes, I gave up and went to the bar myself to get drinks. Once halftime hit, I decided to order food to go. That still took an hour, and we didn't receive it until there were about 10 minutes left in the game. To her credit, the server who took the to-go order (a different server) did let me know the kitchen was backed up and followed through--communication that was genuinely appreciated. Throughout the game, I had to return to the bar multiple times to refill our sodas and waters. Our assigned server continued to take orders and deliver food throughout the section, yet not once during the entire game did she stop at our table. Not once. Needless to say, it will be a cold day in Hades before we return. I could be crawling in hunger and would rather meet my maker than give this place another dollar of my money.
