I am giving Denny's five stars because we received such stellar service. From the moment we walked through the door until we cashed out, we were treated like royalty. Our waitress was high energy and oh so positive!!! I decided to get a Slamburger, and boy howdy, it was truly slammin' -- slammingly 'licious!! Egg on a burger has become an obsession of mine. I ordered it with a side of onion rings, and I was a happy camper. I think this might be my favorite Denny's. The vibe is bright with an amazing and friendly atmosphere. My boyfriend ordered the sampler and was quite pleased with his food. Oh, and as an AARP member, I was able to get a discount on the meal. This Denny's always gives the best portions and everything is cooked perfectly, especially when you dine in! I have noticed that the employees here look a lot more happier and very professional. I'm glad to see that work drama seems to be a lot less apparent and that communication is definitely more smoother. We have had amazing service from Angelica and Lattoria, always making sure to check in at appropriate times and giving refills whenever our glasses got close to empty. Never had a bad experience ever and I love that everyone is genuine with their customer service. The space here is still one of my favorites with the bright lights and comfortable seating from booths, tables, and private booths. It's really great for when I take pictures for Yelp as the food just looks more appealing in a brighter setting. Was seated during very slow hours. Server didn't approach us until about 15 mins after we sat down. The staff was openly arguing in the front by the kitchen hen window. A server who was a black woman was very aggressive, loud. When we received our coffees, there was lipstick on our cups. The waitress said to my bf, well stop wearing lipstick then. Hubby got an omelet, fries, bacon and toast for 9.59. I got the diner classic cheese burger w/fries for $8.99. Both came out quickly as it was 1:30 and very few patrons. Server was friendly and fast but once a few tables came she got busy and that's why coffee got overlooked. She did apologize but felt it should have been adjusted. Both meals were very tasty, no real complaints but will say we asked for extra crispy fries and were barely golden but acceptable. Impressed with the Denny's new look. I'm not sure if this is all Denny's now or just this location. It was much bigger then I have seen them and plenty of space and booths to eat at. Improved menu! This was one of my first jobs when I was just out of high school (30 years ago). The restaurant was clean and the staff were all friendly. They also offer beer and wine here. I ordered the the hot chocolate and it's not the best I have had. It taste like one you would by at the store and mix. It was too sweet. I honestly like the ones at IHOP much better. I've always thought that Denny's was a very run down, old people place but let me tell you that is far from the truth. I'm a health conscious person and decided to order off the "health" section of the menu expecting to taste bland mushy food, but it was all but that! My dish was sizzling hot and continued to stay hot while I chatted for some time. The egg whites were perfectly cooked and was scrambled with some very fresh and green spinach. There was mushrooms, peppers, and caramelized onions mixed in throughout the plate. Underneath all the veggie and egg ingredients were scrumptious potato's! A great meal to fill one up. For a desserty dish, I ordered a Belgium waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. Something about a waffle that is crispy on the outside when you bite into it and soft, doughy on the inside that brings a great smile to my face! Although the strawberries had a syrup of some sort, it was the perfect amount of sweet to balance the doughy waffle. The whipped cream on top was like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae... AMAZING! The server was very nice and friendly, especially towards the end of the day when her shift was about to end. read more

They had said they were very busy but had already served the person next to us. My order that they told me was ready for pick up 10 minutes ago was still being cooked. I never expect high quality food from Denny's but I also do not expect garbage food made with garbage ingredients that was not cooked properly. My pancakes had raw batter that was not cooked because it was overly saturated with half rotten blueberries that should have been thrown out and not served. The strawberries were also going bad and should not have been served. My over medium eggs were not even over easy. They were practically raw with most of the white not even being cooked. The hash browns were also hardly cooked at all. They had no crunch to them and were very soggy. The only thing that was really edible was the mediocre bacon. I feel like every experience at Denny's is pretty standard, and that was proven again this weekend. The ONE thing that set this Denny's apart from others I've been to is that it is CUTE. Like so cute!! The outside looks more homey/cabin-y rather than dingy and old like most Denny's. Inside, the layout is unique and they have a nice big fireplace that was decorated for fall and everything. The service was just okay. My grandpa got frustrated because we ended up waiting longer than we were supposed to - the same waitress that took down his name for a spot on the list, called his name and ended up taking another group of people back that had a completely different name and a different number of people in the group. Let's just say he wasn't too happy. Our waitress that served us as well was cordial, but she was just that - made no attempt to make conversation and was very monotone when taking our order. I would say my meal this time was so much more satisfying than times in the past, but that's because I let myself indulge in something baaaad. I got the Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes meal, so, that included two pancakes, eggs (scrambled with cheese), hashbrowns, and sausage links. What I really like is this time around, my cheese actually came melted and not still cold sitting on top of my eggs! The hashbrowns were satisfying as well because of how crispy they made them - that's the peak of quality for me when it comes to hashbrowns. The pancakes? Dangerous. So dangerous. They were SOOO good. The pancakes come with peanut butter sauce drizzled on top as well as fudge (but I nixed that - not a big fan of fudge) and are also stuffed with white and dark chocolate chips. They were amazing - definitely would order again. So, like I said, a pretty standard experience. I would however choose this location over others just because of how homey it is, but as long as other Denny's locations have those Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes, I'll do just fine going somewhere else. read more

I will honestly say my first experience was okay , compared to my second . The first time they was limited supplies as well as overcooked my hash browns but my waiter was doll . The second time management was in and my experience was terrible , we were greeted then had to wait a little while to be assisted. We eat at many dennys in various locations. I must say that this is one of the cleanest. Staff is attentive and quick. You can watch your food hit the window and in moments its at your table. on the menu to day...buffalo chicken tenders, cali club sandwich, lumber jack slam, loaded cheddar tots (amazing), honey jalapeño burgey, kids burger and goldfish. my family and i went in this afternoon for some lunch. our server was great. she was an older lady but i can't remember her name. she was super nice & i could tell she was really trying. the reason i'm giving this establishment one star is because my food came out wrong twice! i wasn't upset or anything but when my server went back to tell the kitchen it was wrong again, her coworkers started yelling at her and being really mean! we were sat right by the kitchen door so we could hear everything really clear. she was so upset with the way her coworkers talked to her that she even came back to our table crying! i got so upset because no one should talk to anyone the way they did to her. when i went to go talk to the manager, she seemed very uninterested to hear what i had to say and simply just said "i'll share those words with her" after saying that "no one was yelling" i can't stand managers who try to just push situations like that under the rug. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed although there weren't THAT many people, it was evident they had been very busy and were tuckered out although they had a smile and a pleasant comment for nearly everybody. They do a pretty fair job, no complaints against my waitress. First impressions are important and that's where this place falls down. The Hostess couldn't have been less engaging. I watched as I waited for a table, she was almost slothful in her effort, she would walk people toward a table and then just turn away without a word.
