Either their menu is completely misleading and false advertisement or they just cheated us. The special stated a small for $11.99 and in the specials description says to choose rice or noodles as part of the $11.99 special, then they charged an additional $2 on top of the $11.99 for noodles. When I questioned it they said "oh, sorry that the menu isn't clear" amd still charged the additional $2. They didn't charge the extra $2 when I ordered the same thing a week ago. Never going there again and would not recommend. It seemed very shady. read more

Great service, super friendly and delicious sauces are plentiful. I chose the option to pick my own veggies/ meat and get it weighed. She gave huge portions of rice and noodles. She gave me the option of half and half. So I could have both. God could have fed 2 adults. Total war $20, which is a great deal considering I still have enough for a full meal. This place used to me amazing when the previous people/owners were there. The gal that helped today was friendly but the food didn't seem property chilled, everything looked like it was turning color due to not being cold enough, she also didn't property clean the grill between people so there was debris everywhere. Chicken was hard and been cooking far too long, rice was cold, and as the worker was putting my side of veggies in a container he used his dirty hand to put the extra that fell to the side in the container, the gyoza was cold and rubbery. This is a great place for a super quality meal while shopping at the mall or simply to get food to take home. You have the choice of a wide variety of vegetables, chicken, beef, shrimp (my favorite), tofu, etc., and you can get as little or as much as you want. Customers also have a choice of noodles or rice, and many sauces to choose from. The price is also good (by weight) and the service is exceptional. She always smiles and is really fast... minimal waiting. I'll continue to return to Okee Dokee. read more

This is a very good option to choose in the mall food court. It's decently priced and even a little bit cheaper than other nearby Mongolian grill places. It's not all you can eat, and there is a smaller selection, but considering it's in the mall, this is understandable. The quality however is pretty good, and the ability to build your own meal like a salad bar, makes it stand out amongst the other options of the food court. Plus, it's always cool to watch the food get cooked up. The service is very friendly and treat customers well, in my experiences. I had a good conversation with the lady who was cooking, while I waited for my food, and it made the wait go by a bit quicker. Overall this is one of my preferred places in the food court. read more

This place was terrible. The teriyaki sauce was a brown gravy, even after I asked twice if it was teriyaki. Chicken was bland and dry. Instead of the shaved chicken you normally get at a Mongolian restaurant, they used chicken breasts and cut them with scissors when they were almost cooked. read more

I typically don't eat at the south hill mall but was really hungry this time and decided to do it, big mistake. Firstly, the grill wasn't cleaned all the way from the previous meal when the lady went to cook my food. At this point, I should've just known better but the meal had already been paid for. The food was overly salty and I ended up with mild food poisoning shortly after eating. Luckily I made it home in time to throw up rather than destroying the interior of my car. I had a social outing, that was planned weeks in advance, to go to immediately after and this nearly ruined my whole night. Due to my diligence of emptying my stomach, I was able to successfully end the night on a positive note. Definitely would not recommend and will no longer be eating at the South Hill Mall for the remainder of my life. I'll do my best to make sure my next life also avoids this place at all costs. read more

Then they cook it in front of you on a grill; as it cooks you can pick whatever sauce and flavor you like. For sauce I pick half teriyaki and half siriacha chili sauce. You can make your meal as healthy or not as you want by adding more vegetables or more meat and seafood. So, let it be said first and foremost, the food is fine. It's one of the very few things my partner missed while abroad for years. However after today's experience, I'm afraid neither of us can go here again, due to the staff currently working there. While management has made some (honestly pretty smart) safety precautions around how food is selected and prepared, the cook and front staff who were on today can only be described adequately with one word: Moron. The individual preparing my partners food routinely rubbed or touched his mask while preparing the food (not the best idea when handling food), and the mask itself was very ill fitting (which, working in that sort of environment can almost be forgiven, in some circumstances). However, what cannot be forgiven was this dude would routinely pull his mask all the way down to listen to customers or ask questions. This pandemic has been going on long enough to potty train a toddler, and yet him and his coworker still have no idea how to wear a mask, for what purpose they serve, and how to not be a disease vector. I get it, wearing a mask all day sucks. Mistakes happen from time to time. But this was not a mistake, it was flagrant disregard for the safety of customers and coworkers. I sincerely hope that this place puts no one in a hospital or on a ventilator. read more

Got a text confirmation that they received and accepted my order, so imagine my surprise and frustration when my dasher called to tell me she was standing at the counter at Okee Dokee Grill in Puyallup and the employee at the counter told her that they did not do DoorDash...I tried calling the store but they did not answer. Had to ask DoorDash for a refund and question why they are listed on DoorDash if they don't do DoorDash. Poor business practice. read more

Can we say amazing?!?! I was a little skeptical about getting food from here, especially since it's in a mall. Let start out by saying the food was soooo good! I love that you can pick your mix ins but be careful you are charged by the weight of the food! Once you have your mix ins selected it's time to watch them grill it! You can choose your sauce and that was a plus for me! You can mix as many sauces as your heart desires! My food was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly! This is better than a mall mongolian grill. Its .58 an ounce. Its pretty damn good quality. We go out of our way for this place. I just do a mix of teriyaki and garlic sauce. I always have enough to bring home for dinner. Rice is good, i havent tried noodles. read more

First of all, I'd like to clarify that this restaurant came into new ownership a little over a year ago, so don't let the review about the owner picking his nose discourage you. You know a restaurant is good if the workers & their family continues to eat from it w/o getting tired of the food. I've personally seen the kitchen and I can assure you that it is very sanitary, unlike the previous management. (So unthink what you think about Okee Dokee ;D) The dining experience includes walking up to and choosing from a selection of stir-fry toppings including a variety of quality veggies: cabbages, broccoli, onion, bamboo, bell peppers; and proteins: tofu, thin-sliced beef, pork, chicken, and other various choices--each topping has its own pair of tongs and a sneeze guard protects them from contamination. Next, you would weigh your choices & pay at the cashier (only a few cents per ounce!). In addition to your entre, of course, there are a variety of drinks. The staff then stir-fries your meal with a choice of white rice or yellow noodles, and your choice of any combination of sauces. I recommend the special sauce with a bit of garlic :D Deeeelish!~ A to-go box sized entre usually amounts to around $7-12 depending on what toppings you choose. Since the price is determined by weight, you get what you pay. Well, not really because the noodle/rice does not factor into the weight :) read more

Miniature Mongolian grill inside the South Hill mall. This is a small version of a Mongolian grill that's sprouted up everywhere lately. As for Asian food this place and the Wok This Way Chinese restaurant in the mall are the only two. Pick the Wok This Way. This is a poor example of a Mongolian grill with limited selections. I asked for it to be on the spicy side and the owner/cook made it so hot it was not eatable. I can handle spicy food with no problem but it was way too spicy. Not funny. read more

This is your traditional family run restaurant. The family is really nice (much better than the previous owners which were cheapos). The food is great. It's very flavorful. I recommend the special sauce...it is truly yummy in my tummy. They sell the food by weight so if you're on a diet this place is perfect ;) the selection is nice.
