About a one minute walk from the hotel I called and order a salad to go. They said it would be about 15 minutes. It was right on time. It's a new salad on their menu called."New strawberry balsamic. chicken salad". It's a very good size salad. It comes with lettuce, diced tomatoes, almonds, tons of strawberries, (which is a nice touch) and red onions. Hard pass on the onions! They also give you two dressings. One is a light creamy Italian, which was delicious and the other was a balsamic. Putting those two together was a great combination. read more

Came here for the unlimited tenders, ribs, and shrimp. Had an order of each one and have to say the tenders were the best choice. The shrimps were okay but way too fried. The food is what you'd expect but what makes this Applebees special is the bartender Steve. This man belongs in a Michelin star restaurant instead he's been a staple at the Bee for 20 years. Went here last week. I ordered the endless entire deal. This gives you a choice between shrimp, ribs, or chicken fingers. Obviously order a lot of food during this meal. The combo app as also ordered as well. It has a large variety such as mozzarella sticks, nachos, boneless wings, and enchiladas. The waitress was fast and attentive but had a little attitude. Ambiance of the restaurant had a lot of sports tv's everywhere. This location gave me the best Applebees experience I have ever had. We stopped here for lunch after a Sunday Funday in Rhode Island. This place is right by the border, making it a convenient spot to get some lunch and well-needed rest. We came in as a party of 3 at peak lunch hour, and were seated right away despite it being a full house. The waitress was extremely kind, which definitely enhanced the dining experience. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and requested that my side of fries become a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The burger was cooked so perfectly and the toppings were extremely fresh. The side of mashed potatoes was absolutely delightful and seasoned well. We also ordered fish & chips and a chicken quesadilla appetizer. I was honestly shocked at how well a chain restaurant could prepare the fish. The fish was so tender and the coating was the perfect balance between flaky and stable. It melted in your mouth but did not fall off the piece of fish. This cod was better done than could be in most seafood restaurants I've been to. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good, though I would've enjoyed the cheese to have a less bold flavor, and if guacamole would be added to the dish. read more

Clearly they were either severely overcooked or old wings that should have been tossed out instead of served to customers. The Cinnabon dessert was solid but on the greasy and soggy side. I decided to order the amazing 2 for 25 meal for me and my daughter expecting some decent food but it was not what I expected. I come to my FIRST point. I ordered "4 cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken" and expected some amazing cheese pull or anything that had a little bit of cheese but to my dismay I see pasta. Not even joking I think they just slapped some butter on there put some kids chicken and called it a day. I couldn't even eat it not much wanted to anyway. Moreover I come to my second point. My daughter ordered a chicken parm fettuccine WITH OUT sauce due to some allergy issues and low and behold I see sauce. The pasta was cold and looked like it was sitting out for hours. I decided to poke at the chicken in confusion cause this isn't what I ordered and it felt like rubber, honestly probably wasn't even real chicken. And finally I called the store to complain and was on the phone with the manager Steven McLaren who was breathing into the phone which felt like he was breathing down my neck. No help what so ever. He asked me "well do you want a refund?" Are we really asking this question? Like your the manger didn't you train for this?? And provides no help if I order online I put my email and number and he has the nerve to ask "what's your email" Steven if your reading this then I know damn right you know my number and email cause I ordered from you guys. I paid 36 and some change for this rubbish? Honestly could've been happy with kraft Mac and cheese for 99 cents and could've made my own chicken parm fettuccine if I wasn't tired and been on my feet all day. Steve is just the best bartender anyone could ask for. He goes above and beyond for his regular customers, and we are lucky to call himself his regulars. He takes great care of us whenever we go, and we go quite often. The food is pretty good as well. After watching a movie next door we stopped here for some appetizers. We opted to sit at the bar which was 3/4 of the way full. We both ordered sodas and the bartender was quick to refill them. We decided to just order 2 apps and split them. We got the wonton chicken tacos and the sampler. This gave us a nice variety. My only complaint - the chips for the spinach dip were stale. Great service but no matter how many times I try to stop here since its next door to the theater, the food is always inconsistent. I got the protein and pasta combo. The mozzarella ravioli was good, my steak cooked perfect. The breadstick, well delicious of course. Who doesn't love a breadstick? Unfortunately my potatoes and onion straws were ice cold. The food was delicious! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip with chips as an appetizer and the sirloin, with mashed potatoes and broccoli as one entree and chicken broccoli Alfredo as the other entree. The steak was cooked how we wanted it. The mashed potatoes could have used a bit more butter but overall creamy, well mashed, and with the right amount of salt. The broccoli was surprisingly not over cooked which is usually the main risk with ordering steamed broccoli. The broccoli chicken Alfredo was out of this world to be from a chain restaurant. The sauce was creamy and filled the pockets of the broccoli tips so it was almost like eating broccoli and cheese. The broccoli was also cooked perfectly. The chicken was surprisingly still juicy and there was a generous amount. It could have used a bit more seasoning but the Alfredo sauce made up for it. It was very filling. Our waitress was also super friendly and patient with us despite being the last people there and wanting to secretly kick us out. I would definitely come back! read more

What happened to common sense. Applebees thinks it's ok to put a hot meal in the same bag as a cold salad & ice cream. They are under the assumption that because the hot food is on top and heat rises it will have no affect on my cold food! ARE you KIDDING me what idiot thought that was legit. I can tell you that it is not the case. I know have Melted ice cream, warm salad & a cold steak dinner with no oven or microwave to heat the food which is why I went out to pick up a hot meal! Applebees is a chain, but decent in my opinion. This location needs more parking. If you come here on a busy Saturday night you might be forced to park in the take out parking. The service and seating was good. The soups and appetizers are hit or miss. I really like the American Standard burger and the fiesta chicken is pretty good too. They have good margaritas too. The main dining drawback is noise. If you like screaming kids from all directions come here, and probably most chain restaurants too. The dining area is one large room with the bar centrally located. Maybe better sound damping material would help. read more

Applebees North Attleboro is what it is 1/14/23. All of the food is frozen and processed and then re-heated. We had the Mozzarella Sticks 1/2 price after 9 pm. The Bartenders are good and work hard. Don't understand why local sports take precedence to NFL Playoffs? One measly small tv over the beer taps with a hanging light in front of it had the LA Chargers/ Jacksonville Jaguars game on! They ran out of the best beer they have on tap tonight--Stella Artois and had no more! If it weren't for the movie theater next door this place would be dead at night! Atmosphere is nothing great--typical American barroom. One plus is they stay open late. read more

Odd experience. It's Applebee's so expectations are not the highest but server was flighty and did not seem like she had a clue how to serve. They were not selling alcohol which was fine since we aren't drinkers but makes you think what they did to not be able to serve alcohol. Food took an obnoxiously long time to come out. Came in at 845pm and the place was half full. On a positive note the food is consistent. We stick to what we like. Wonton tacos and salad. Can't mess those up... I thought.. meals came out after a good app. My Caesar salad had 3oz of chicken...maybe... about 2oz of dressing... and about 3 heads of romaine... seriously... UGH!!! Back to the server... app came out...no app plates for a shared app. Then she came by and said she would get us drinks.... 15minute later... she appears with no drinks... not going well... and yes it was 15 minutes... after 5 we timed it... To add some context... I started writing this as the meal was half to just over half done. ... assuming it could not get worse. It did... server was Non-existent and no, it wasn't busy. It cleared out to the point they had 4 tables and we still could not get a refill or more dressing or anything. We even had to wait to pay the bill. Considering my expectations are low given Applebee's is a chain and by no means a 4-5 star establishment this was rough. Management was non-existent and obviously makes no effort to improve the experience. Given the pandemic I would think each server, manager and cook would do their best to ensure people keep dining out and coming back. I will still tip 20% because of the pandemic but I should have gotten paid to endure this meal... disappointing... just disappointing!!! UGH!!! read more

I'd like to give no stars if possible. My partner and I went in on Friday night 1/19/24 at 7pm. Sat around for 10 mins before our waiter even came over and he said "sorry I didn't even know you guys were here, it's my second day on the floor". Very reassuring . We ordered two drinks and the all you can eat deal. We sat around for another 30 mins and our waiter apologized on behalf of the kitchen that they were "backed up" another 15 mins go by and we asked a nearby waitress if she could retrieve our waiter that we wanted to pay for our drinks and leave. She apologized and said she would find a manager. The manager came over, and rudely blamed our wait time on our waiter saying it's because he's new. He left the table and came back with a new drink and we declined and said we're waiting for our check , we're starving and waiting for too long. The MANAGER said "Oh , okay." And walked away. How are you a manager with that kind of shitty customer service? No apology and STILL tried to charge us for the food that we did not eat. We told them we'd pay for the drinks only. The manager never came back to apologize or offer any type of compensation. What a disappointing evening. 0/5 stars. Awful. read more

my wife and I waited 20 min to even be able to get a soda. it's our 4 year anniversary she loves Applebee's. This has been my worst experience ever. After finally being able to order soda and food gave us appetizers no utensils, no plates no napkins no ketchup had to wait 5 more min to get our utensils so weekend our appetizers that are cold at this point. As for our meal my wife ordered a cheeseburger no onions, no pickles. It came full of onions and pickles. Never got the ketchup and took 10 min for a refill I understand my wife loves Applebee's, but I will never come back to this Applebee's again. I don't expect much from an Applebee's but getting seated gets you 3 stars to start. I walked in with my daughter this afternoon and nobody was there to seat us. A girl in the back looked at us then went back whatever she was doing. A waiter looked at us and also went back to what he was doing. No problem at all with waiting, but once we make eye contact a simple acknowledgement that you saw us and you will be with us when you are free. It was 1145 in the afternoon and the place only had a handful of people so they were not overwhelmed. We waited a few minutes then I just decided to take a seat in the area of the other people. The girl came up to the host desk right next to us and again never acknowledged that we were there. She turned her massive rear end directly towards me and started writing on a piece of paper. After a couple tick tac toe games with my little one I asked her if someone could help us . She got rude" FOR YOU... how long were you waiting" really? It's right next to showcase cinemas and we only stopped in because it's the closest place: seat us, give me something that resembles a burger and service with a smile and it's 4 star review because I don't expect much from Applebee's. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and literally it had 5 small thin sliced pieces of chicken (parts of the chicken tasted chewy, which turned me right off) and there was ZERO Caesar salad dressing, but yet it's called a chicken Caesar salad. Lacked much chicken and was just thrown on lettuce. No cheese - no dressing - nothing. Even though those things were marked down when ordering. Husband had a hamburger and didn't finish it Bc he said it tasted raw. Ended up throwing both dishes out Bc we ordered "to go" Bc he had a gift certificate, andddddd that's why I never go to this chain, because they've messed up, and aren't that good when I tried in the past. But i didnt come for the drinks... So i ordered my Mega Mushroom Swiss burger and a salad bar for side (for $1.99 upgrade charge). Was about to get up to head for my salad experience, and was stopped by the waitress who then tells me "Sorry, we are out of Burgers, would you like to see the menu again?" Applebee's...you're a chain restaurant! It was Wednesday evening at 745p, and you RUN out of one of the main staples of your menu! So i simply ordered the asiago steak which was kinda chewy for being cooked a medium-rare. The salad bar had a nice upgrade, but two issues... One, WHY is the sneeze guard so darn low??? I had to reach in for the items in the far back like i was doing Yoga stretches! Two, you need to have someone monitor the bar and teach them about "turnover". The creamy dressings had the "Ive been sitting here for days" hard film on the top, some of the veggie items were wilting and looked like they had been out since the lunch rush, heck, the pees had a slime on them!
