I will never go to this Applebee's ever again or Applebee's period. Yesterday two of my co-workers and I were enjoying what seemed to be a safe to eat meal. Then my three month old pregnant co-worker found a 2" inch insect cooked in her food. It was the most disgusting meal I've ever had. Witnessing that big insect cooked into her food made me sick to my stomach. The manager did finally came over and her lack of manager skills was obvious. She tried to insinuate that we could of possibly planted that thee..??? Are you kidding me? That clearly was a cooked bug in my co-workers meal that came out of your kitchen!! Now I can't help but wonder what else goes on behind their kitchen doors. Please anyone going there check your food before eating it because they clearly don't if they let a 2" insect be played and brought out as an acceptable meal. read more

I've never really liked Applebee's but someone else was choosing where we went tonight. I was actually really impressed. Our server was excellent and really knew how to take care of a six top party. The siracha shrimp Appetizer was really good. Spinach artichoke dip was mediocre. The wonton shrimp rice dish was pretty good, something I'd order again. read more

Have only ordered takeout from here, but each time I did, food was ready when I arrived & staff very friendly and accommodating when I asked for anything extra. Prices are very reasonable and food was very good. They have an adequate parking lot and are located on Route 73 by 2 hotels. If you're looking for a place to grab a good meal to go, I suggest you give them a try. The prices and quality are very good. read more

Way better than we expected. We went on a Friday night for a semi-emergency dinner after a road trip, and even after 10pm, it was still kinda busy. Ordered a salad and a sampler platter. Both were well-made, and generously sized for the price. The interior is upbeat and sporty, like a modern, less shabby Champps. The tables have these mini touchscreen computers, which we were new to but they turned out to be cool for ordering more items and playing mini games. Also, service was awesome, which is very unusual for this area nowadays. Hostess was nice. Our waitress was nice and accommodating from start to finish, and our drinks were never empty. I will admit that I was kind of unsure of going to this chain due to the low reviews. I'm glad we did go anyway, and we'll frequent it often from now on. Our only complaints: The booths facing the bar are on this tall box really high off the ground; it's a "look out below!" accident waiting to happen. They could turn down the music a bit, too...no one would consider this place to be a club after all. read more

Stopped in here after a long day stuck in an airplane. There weren't a lot of people on a Tuesday night. Service was a little slow, the food was good, but my steak came out medium well instead of rare. The broccoli, mashed potatoes and ribs were very good. Plenty of parking and easy to get to from 73 or Church. read more

Nice, new and improved environment. From sitting in a booth to the bar it's very clean. TVs everywhere so perfect for any sports events. Good specials. Sat at the bar and got a 9oz steak with potatoes and my girl got fried shrimp and fries for 25$. Beer specials 2.50$, can't go wrong. Only negative experience would have to be one time the waitress forgetting about our table so we just went to the bar instead. The bartenders were nice. Overall, good specials at the right times. read more

Very good food and an awesome staff. I ordered the two for 22 and I was by my self. They kept it in the back until I left.

Great food and can always be counted on! Got the fire roasted veggies this time and it was darn great! Will always get them when I come for now on... wish they weren't on the signature sides but nevertheless yum! read more

I had the hot boneless wings and 3.00 Long Island Ice Tea and a $3.00 Margarita from the happy hour menu. This location was ok. Not the best that I have been to. The servers were so/so. They just couldn't seem to get the orders right of the other people that I came with. Not so sure I would choose this location at a later date. read more

We had the worst experience on Saturday night there were 12 of us celebrating a co-worker leaving his job. The service was horrible sat at the table for 15 minutes before anyone came to take a drink order, food was terrible sent back some wings they look microwaved and the we were cut off after 3 drinks each per their policy...so we paid and left will never go back. read more

The food is always good there. Today, they were short staffed, but the entire staff pitched in to make the experience excellent. Deja was an absolute star! French fries are always fresh! I like that. Service is spotty at best. I go often and half the time the server is a server and the other half I'm glad I can order and pay in ziosk. This past weekend Khadijah was our server. It looked like maybe her boyfriend was at the bar and she was all hugged up on hime while our drinks sat on the counter. Prior to that she was also hugged up on him. The manager saw us sitting unattended and went to send her over to our table but she noticed us before he got to her. She messed our order up so we had to wait even longer and then we didn't see her again until I had to ask someone else to find her so we could have our check. Not our best experience. This review would be a 1 star for her. The food is always hot and fresh tasting. read more

Apparently the management here is a bit inept. We wanted to order an extra item off their menu but they couldn't figure out how to enter it in their computer and so refused to fullfill our request. read more

This place has certainly improved over the last year. I feel horrible that I gave them a bad review on FB, but last summer when I was there the girl was absolutely rude. Yesterday was the best service I received ever! The server Joy is wonderful! Great personality, smart and awesome at what she does! There were 7 of us and she knocked it out of the park! The food was really good too! Steak was perfect medium rare and had good flavor! Me and my family will definitely be back! read more

I've been to this Applebee's on several occasions and was always satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, tonight wasn't a great experience. When we arrived at 4:30 we were told 20-25 minute wait. We were finally seated after 45 minutes. The delay was due to the fact that there was one server for the entire restaurant. Our server was fantastic. She was as attentive as she could possibly be. My complaint is with management. There manager should have stepped in and helped so that more patrons could be seated. So many people turned around and left after hearing that the wait was 45 minutes despite the fact that only four tables were occupied. I truly felt sorry for our sever as none of this was her fault. This was simply poor management. read more

Very bad service. Food is good but TERRIBLE SERVICE TODAY! Our waitress ) was NEVER around. Brought us drinks but took 30 mins to get us straws and utensils! That is outrageous! Our apps were out before the straws and utensils! Overall, worst waitress we ever had at Applebee's. Redeeming qualities of the night were the food Also is super kik. Lol And I love stunning Ashley read more

Was told by the waitress that they don't offer military discounts. Applebee's website says otherwise. Service was also bad by the waitress that served us. Highly disappointed. read more

I wish I could give it no stars. we were told a half hour, then an hour. They weren't busy, just poorly managed and they were stanning around gossiping. Their food isn't that great to start with. A waste. They have eleven empty tables but said they have no tables. read more

Stayed at a nearby hotel, so this was the "default" restaurant or it would've been Wendy's or Mcdonald's. After we were seated, it took a while for our server to greet us. About 15 minutes after being seated, she finally came over to greet us. Seeing we had a toddler, we just went ahead and ordered. She was very nice and attentive. However, I guess they were really that busy, but our foods took a loooong time to come out. They were lucky, because it was a decent meal and my mom likes the place. Would maybe go back if we're ever in the area. read more

Applebee's: a poor man's Outback Steakhouse. Nearly the same in quality, Applebee's is built like a cheap factory, trying to shove out food as cheaply as possible while relying on bells and whistle that are neither wanted nor needed. My steak had even less flavor than the one I got at Outback. I turned it back because I ordered it rare, but got well-done. It came back well-done again, but I pitied them, so I said it was fine. I doubt there's a single real chef back there. All in all, it wasn't terrible; I wouldn't eat it again, but I don't deeply regret going to Applebee's Grill + Bar. Thank you for the meal - I give you two stars. read more

I gotta say... Nor'easter hit and everything was closed except for Jays Elbow room and Applebee's. They had a limited menu but the boneless wings were great! One girl named Christina was doing EVERYTHING by herself! She was awesome. But the place closed early anyway so they only get a 4. One girl at the bar running her butt off with 3 servers a manager and cooks. Pretty good service with the storm. The place had lots of people, they should have stayed open! read more

Really nice place. I went here with my family and we all had a great time. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly kind. Our orders came quickly and were delicious. My steak was cooked exactly how I like it. Our waitress was always right on time with the drink refills. I gave for stars because the deserts aren't made in house. For example, if you want your brownie to be nut free (due to severe allergy) the waitress will say that they can't because the brownies come that way. read more

We loved Kristin at the bar on Tuesday 12/10/2019 at 3pm. we will be coming back, she has a great personality! She loves her job and it shows, she is very happy, friendly, professional and funny. Brand new Applebees. Very clean, friendly and efficient. Good bar, lots of tvs is you wanna see a game

Seriously one of the nicest, if not THE nicest Applebee's I've been to. Jetlagged and ready for the day to be over at 1pm, the bartender (young black female) picks my day back up. She is sweet, attentive and on point. Definitely the best steak I've had in any Applebee's as well. Normally they over cook it and I have to eat it as is because I never send anything back to the kitchen, but they cooked it perfectly (medium rare). Five stars for this visit. Since then, I've come two more times. The bartender Ally(Allie?) a tall blonde Caucasian female has been the absolutely worst server/bartender I've ever had. Not only does she not greet anyone as the sit at her bar, she ignores them for a length of time until she decides she wants to attend them. Does so curtly and dismisses clients quickly. I always tip a minimum of 20%, but she has made me want to rethink my tipping habits. She seems to hate her job and does the absolute bare minimum to keep patrons taken care of. She never asked if I needed anything or if I wanted refills. I had to literally ask her for refills on expensive Martinis various times and she doesn't even acknowledge me. Just keeps on her merry way u til she returns some time later with a drink. She is the reason I will find a new place to go. She loudly told a patron his card had a low balance as well. That's very distasteful and needs to be done with more respect. She is a HORRIBLE employee who clearly despises the guests and her job. Sorry Applebee's....maybe the manager should watch how the employees treat the guests instead of hiding in the back all night. I won't be back. Zero stars for this visit. 1 star because it's the lowest I could rate. read more

Terrible service! Walked out before receiving our food! Server was argumentative about when to bring out sides of mayonnaise to the table. We ordered water and after waiting 13 minutes we never even received water. The restaurant was not busy at all. I will say that this Applebee's has the worst guest service of any that I have been to EVER! including Cherry hill, Somerdale, Hammonton and several others out of state. I've been here 2x's the month and won't be returning. I thought it would be better the second time but no. Eventhough it was virtually empty both times. The food was cold and the service was slow. It was a terrible experience. Don't waste your time coming here if you can avoid it. read more

Applebee's is a hit or miss. When it's good, it's great, but you never know what your experience is going to be like until you get there. Sometimes you'll have a great meal with great service, but other times the food will be cooked exactly the opposite of how you ordered it. Regardless of bad experiences, I continue to eat here frequently and I do enjoy Applebee's most of the time. The environment is wonderful and everyone is typically very friendly, but again, you can't be sure what's going to happen when you choose to eat here. read more

Applebee's is one of those standard chain restaurants that just doesn't measure up to some of the others for me, but I can't help but be drawn in again and again by $3 drinks and half prices apps after 9pm - it makes for a decent Friday or Saturday night in the burbs. Recently it seems every Applebee's has adapted their late night offer, customizing what is half-price and what drinks are $3. This particular location has $3 Long Island Teas or House Margaritas, and a lift of 5 or so 1/2 price apps. For and extra 50 cents, I splurged and ordered a pommegranate margarita and the green bean crispers. The green beans, which are breaded and fried and served with two different dipping sauces (I stay away from the bacon one, but quite like the creamy horseradish), were delicious - hot, consistently breaded, and a decent portion. The margarita was actually better without the flavoring, and I ordered the 2nd one sans pomm. This location is fairly new, and the bar area is clean and has a fun, modern design. All the chairs are bar-height, and were sort of tricky to maneuver. The service, unfortunately, was terrible. Our waitress brought 2 drinks and then forgot about the 3rd for 20 minutes, messed up the specifics of our order, and disappeared for long stretches at a time. While it seemed like there was a large number of staff proportionate to the few customers, something wasn't gelling right. read more

Went to Mt Laurel, NJ Applebee's with 2 brothers and their wives, my wife and a 3rd brother; we arrived at 400PM, place less than 1/2 full. Requested checks for the 3 couples and the single, wound up with 7 individual checks, several of which were wrong. Drinks ordererd and arrived, EVENTUALLY, wrong flavor to sister in law. After 15 minutes or so, my wife's entree arrived....NO utensils or napkins on table; only entree for another 15 minutes, took about half that time for utensils to be delivered. Meal done, placed coffee orders...10/12 minutes elapsed. Then came the 7 checks....while waiting for server, I visited rest room, disgraceful. I returned to our table to discover server was "processing" our checks, waited additional 5 minutes or more...walked to register area, demanded to see Mgr. Explained ALL of this crap to him, forcefully and disgustedly, but quietly and politely....he comped all checks. Fine, but a DISASTROUS visit, NEVER to be repeated. read more

We eat out often and decided to try out our new neighborhood Applebee's. What a pleasant surprise. Our server, Marissa, was exceptional. Really attentive, funny, relatable and polite. The manager visited our table and we raved about Marissa. We observed the other waiters and waitresses and have to say that each and everyone of them love their jobs and go above and beyond their duties to accommodate their customers. The food was excellent and service was spot on. We will be frequenting this location in the future. Job well done. Can't recommend this Applebee's enough! read more
