Been here many, many times, but realized I've never reviewed it. Hadn't been in a while, but decided to pop in while in the area, and try out some new menu items. Got the Nashville Hot shrimp basket with fries, side of the smash tots, and tried the all American burger. The new shrimp basket was great. The burger was not the most appealing to look at, as it was very messy as soon as it was unwrapped. And the tots now come in the perfect cup like vessel, but it was only half full. These were the worst burgers I had in a while, so dry I swear they were microwaved. I went on a hot day and I'm pretty sure the a/c wasn't on or working. We were hungry and a burger sounded great. So we stopped in at Smashburger. We have enjoyed good meals here before. Ashlynn greeted us at the register and was her usual cheerful and helpful self. She is an asset to Smashburger. All three is us decided on the Double Bacon Stack burger, we each had a drink and we split a large fry. The burgers were juicy and delicious with all the correct toppings for each of us. The fries were hot and crispy. We ordered the large fry. It seemed like the size of the one that came with a meal when you do the meal deal. Sadly it was put on one of the burger trays vs. on a separate plate. But otherwise our meals were delicious and fresh. What was cool was our meals were brought to us by a kitty robot. That was neat! read more

I've never been to a SMASHBURGER and my boyfriend said I just had to try it so we decided to go for an early dinner around 5 PM on a Saturday. Plenty of tables and only had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our food to be done. I got the classic with plain fries and an Oreo Shake. My boyfriend got the double bbq bacon cheddar with fried Brussels sprouts and a half peanut butter/salted caramel shake. My burger was great, could taste the quality of the meat and all the fixins/condiments. My shake was a little chunky at the end but was good other than that. Their Smashfries are more than decent but artisanal burgermeister Smashburger seems to be a legend in their own minds seeking to discover how many discordant toppings they can cram between a bun. I shouldn't have to dislocate my jaw (and my wallet) like a python to ingest a three story burger. The underlying burger seems fresh and satisfying especially when restraint is shown by only adding cheese to the performance art concoction. This place is the step up from your typical fast food burger joint. (Example McDonald's). My burger was good but not worth the money. A burger with small fries will cost you what you would pay in a sit down restaurant like PJ Whelihan's . In my opinion if I wanted that I would go there. I would have to say it's one of the.best burgers I had in a long time and their smash fries with rosemary, olive oil and Garlic were delicious and wish I had more of them! They are thin perfectly crispy fries that were delicious. The wait time was a little long but I was okay with it because the burger was truly delicious. Staff was very friendly and very busy at work. After seeing a few Smash Burgers pop up all over the place I decided it was time for me to try it, and I was glad I did because I've tried it over and over again. This is my new favorite burger place. My favorite burger there is the "New Jersey" which has apple wood-smoked bacon, blue cheese, grilled onions, haystack onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo on an onion bun. All burgers come in two different sizes, small and large- both are priced under $7.50. Fires and other sides have to be ordered separately, but it is definitely worth it. The haystack onions are nice and crisp, and the fries there are the thinnest I've even seen. The sweet potato fries are awesome- you could eat them for dessert! The portions for the sides are reasonable and can easily be split. I have yet to try the milkshakes- but I've heard good things! This particular location is great. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. There is plenty of close parking. The entire staff is great and really tried to make sure you enjoy yourself. I would not suggest going to Smash Burger without a coupon as they are easy to find in Val-Pack or at the bottom of a previous receipt. They also have an email/text club- so sign up! Also I noticed a lot of customers requesting take-out cups for their drinks, which the staff happily gave them. read more

Finally checked out this burger joint and I was pretty satisfied. My favorite burger joint is Five Guys and I can't help but compare it to that. I ordered the classic Smash cheeseburger without tomatoes and it came out just as ordered. I forgot that it came with a special Smash sauce and put ketchup on it as I usually do. I was happy to find that the sauce was really good, even though I put more ketchup on than required. I also ordered the Smash Fries which are seasoned with garlic, rosemary, and olive. The french fries are cut really thin, so a regular size is a pretty large order, big enough to share. The Smash Fries were really good and not greasy as I suspected they might be. So my tongue and belly was really happy. The environment was nice, clean, and up to date. We ate in and got a post to put on our table for a waiter to bring our food, which came out really quickly. All in all Smash Burger was really good, but I'm still a Five Guys guy. I think Five Guys has Smash beat on taste, but I'd definitely go again for the fries. read more

Every once in a while I forget that this Smashburger isn't very good. The staff is OK and the food is OK. Ok food and service doesn't really warrant the high prices. My biggest gripe is they don't fill the milkshakes up all the way. If I'm paying $5 for a milkshake it better be excellent. Smash uses good ice cream and whipped cream. It's one of the few fast food places I can get a milkshake the doesn't hurt my stomach (high fructose corn syrup kills me) - but for the love of Pete, fill that thing up! If you aren't going to fill it up then put enough whip cream in that I can't tell or at least won't regret coming to your establishment. I mentioned to the cashier that the shakes weren't full and they said they follow the recipe exactly and didn't offer any solution to my severe lack of milkshake in my milkshake. I won't be returning to this location. The other major issue I have with Smashburger in general is the online ordering is terrible. After trying unsuccessfully two times to order I went in and ordered at the counter. While there I heard them say something about a ton of online shakes coming in. Turns out my several attempts where successful and getting an error in the website is normal :-/ read more
