Drinks were delicious and even thoughthey were busy. Drinks were prompt. We ordered the Ultimate Trio to share. You get to choose 3 appetisers to pair with 3 sauces. We picked chicken wanton tacos, riblets in asian chile sauce, and onion rings. Wanton tacos were delicious. Fried wanton skin as the shell, chicken slices and asian sauce on it with shredded cabbage/lettuce( i wasn't sure which except it tasted exceptionally good). Onion rings were battered and fried- you could see the onion petals in it. Delicious and fresh. Not overly greasy. Riblets were well executed- despite thin meat but i would order it again. Well, this was my first time at this Applebee's in Nebraska. My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves here! First of all, we had great waitress service by KYNZI !!! She was very attentive and knows her stuff! The restaurant is tucked away in this Gateway Mall. It was clean outside and inside. Restroom was clean. It was cool watching the LA Kings hockey and KC Chiefs football games here. For food everything was great!!! My friend and I both ordered the $14.99 All-you-can-eat special. Boy, did we eat enough! I started out with the shrimp plate, with shrimp sauce, French fries, and Coleslaw. I just had ice water to drink. Our cool waitress Kynzi kept asking and checking on us. For my refill plates, I had the following... Sweet Asian Riblets, shrimp, honey Pepper Boneless Wings, shrimp, and finally, shrimp again!!! Ok, was so full by then. Came here for my anniversary with my fiancé because every other place was closed by 10 p.m., and we had a great evening! I got the Grilled Chicken entree, and asked for the zesty lime sauce on top from the other chicken item. Chicken was perfectly cooked - not at all dry! For the sides I got steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes, and boy were these mashed potatoes Amazing?! So soft and smooth! The broccoli was also really soft and tender and perfectly cooked. I even asked for an extra side of broccoli. My fiancé got the Quesadilla Burger; Such a unique item! I took a taste and it actually tasted like a cheeseburger and quesadilla mashed up into one! Proper hamburger patty in there and there was the tomato and all of it which just gave the spot on vibe. He really loved it as well. Also picked steamed broccoli for his side and enjoyed. For dessert, we got the brownie bite to share. What a lovely dessert! Warm, extra warm, fudgy brownie and very rich and chocolatey too. Combination with that vanilla ice cream was really good. Terrible service. Jackie is the absolute worse. Gave my order to someone else and had the nastiest attitude about it. Then proceeded to gossip about me to a customer sitting at the bar. She also mocked the spelling of my name, repeatedly said my name while laughing, and laughed to a customer about it as well. I'm not sure if she was tired or having a bad day, but it's upsetting to drive across town to pick up food just to get chewed out by an employee who mocked you, gossiped with customers, all because she couldn't hold herself accountable for her actions. read more

Just received a delivery from this location. Trying to support local restaurants. When it arrived late it was cold and my hamburger bun was a rock. Very disappointing. The food has always been delicious when we dine in. If the quality of their food in delivery is bad in comparison they should honestly discount it and make customers aware of this during the time of purchase. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Waitress messed up our order three different time and by the time I got my meal the rest of my family was already done eating. Paid $12 for 8 wings and they were not even decent sized not to mention the half sized chicken strips we also over paid for. Already had our ticket and then asked for a container of sauce and she went back to get it and brought a new ticket adding 50 cents to our order when I fee like after the whole ordeal the sauce could have been at least free. This last visit was probably the worst one I have had in years at Applebee's. We got there and the hostess asked us if we would like a high top and we said sure. We were in the middle of 2 other high tops, no big deal. We literally sat there for 15 minutes watching 2 different servers go to the tables on both sides of us. No one even made an attempt to ask if we needed anything. Finally I went back to the hostess and asked if we were invisible because no one had come over at all. She then asked us where we were sitting and she "went to find our server". She comes back and asks us what we wanted to drink, never even trying to apologize for the wait. We place our order, and then our waiter came over. He said sorry, I just got here yada yada yada. He must have sensed that I was pissed because he made a beeline for the manager. Manager comes over and apologized and said he would give us a free desert or comp one entree. We said OK thanks. But then things got even stupider. I ordered the all you can eat riblets, shrimp and wings. Finished the riblets and he asked if I wanted more. Said id try the shrimp. He brings back a huge plate, with 6 shrimp and cocktail sauce on it!! I couldn't help it and said what the f$ck is this and he just walked away. We decided we didn't want desert so took the comp meal. This was by far the worst dinner we have had in years. Applebee's used to be really good, now they just suck. read more

It's an Applebee's in a mall, so it's exactly as I expected for lunch. It was deserted for lunch. The soup tasted like canned and the Chicken Cavatappi had three small cuts of semi-charred chicken on top of dry pasta that was on top of the sauce in the bottom of the bowl. My waitress/bartender was: Amelia. Right from The get go she was not happy to be here. At all. No smile, how are you, greeting, nothing. Then continued to be very distant, and not out going at all. I have ran and operated restaurants before, and she was nothing to what the standards for a bartender and/or waitress should be. No smile, mean looks, just didn't look like she wanted to be here. Very disappointed in the service that was given by her. On the other hand, Katie, who took over at the bar, was welcoming, smiled, introduced her self, and just had the energy of a server that I would want at my restaurant. The burgers taste like they have been nuked, minimal toppings, sloppily made, cold. The fries have a strange taste. The onion rings were nice and crunchy, but no flavor and cold. The tea was good, tasted like it was brewed, you get about 1/4 glass, too much ice. read more

By far the worst Applebee's I've been to. You expect to see some area's of improvement in any restaurant, especially the chain restaurants, but we waited about an hour and 15 minutes between ordering and getting our food. I would never think to give any Applebee's less than 3 stars. Unfortunately, tonight's experience changed my mind. A couple of us went in about 10:15PM, and on a Saturday, I was surprised at how slow it was. We were one of maybe 10 tables in the whole restaurant. First sitting down, I noticed the manager, JR I believe, sit down on his break at the bar to eat. Not a problem, he probably had a rough day and deserved it. I am all about breaks. I know for a fact I made eye contact with him when he sat down. That made me think that as a manager, he would be personable, he didn't get hired to not talk to people. in the hour we were there, he greeted 4 other tables that came upwards to 45 minutes after we did. We were not greeted once by him. At my job, and as a cook, I even check up on customers. It's the one thing that made this experience so bad. After neither server (Leslie and Kevin) knew exactly who was going to be our server, I knew it was going to be a rough experience. I will admit, we did take time to order, and the server(s) were pretty persistent about making sure if we were ready, but for an order of wings and one burger, I would not expect the 20 minute wait we had for our food. Especially when my wings were warm at most. After all being said and done, I use to love this location, but now, I will never be back. read more

My wife had the garlic mashed potatoes for her side, they were more like a potato puree and very tasteless. This location tends to fill up fast and get LOUD LOUD LOUD in comparison with other locations in Lincolns. Still, the food is good, prices great and service friendly. Rolled into Applebees after the camper show. Git seated right away. All the t.v.'s had college basketball on.....Sweet. Waitress came right over took our drink order. I had a dirty martini....when it came back to our table a small hair was floating in it. Of course I was shocked but got it out and met the waitress know. She said I'm sorry....very sweet woman. A few minutes later the mgr came over and comped the drink. He apologized and said its unacceptable. The food was amazing. We all left with smiles and a new camper. Great Day!!! read more

Stopped by Monday evenight for the All In Burger Specials... I had the burger with the fried egg and my spouse had the triple bacon burger with sweet potato fries. I had the homemade house chips. Went in on a saturday night and was TOTALLY disappointed. Used to go on fridays but since they added karaoke and its so loud we switched. They've added some sort of jukebox and the music was horrible and at full volume, It was what I'd expect from a club, not a restaurant. We were seated and told that our server would be kevin, but fifteen minutes passed and he never showed up. We asked a passing server if we could order and she sent someone over to take our drink orders. When I tried to order a beer she told me that legally she wasn't allowed, but could offer us some water. We got up and went to cheddar's. Went here to finish watching the Huskers game on TV and have some appetizers. Food and service were ok, no big complaints, but one thing stood out: this is a SPORTS bar and not one party was asked if they wanted to sit by a TV to watch the game! Even parties that came in full Husker attire weren't asked about watching the game! And there was only one table filled in the bar area along with a few patrons at the bar itself. Next time, on game days, at least address the game and possible viewing availability. read more
