Whoever was cooking on the 29th Sunday night did an amazing job. We enjoyed the dishes. The chickens were cooked perfectly and were seasoned so well. They were so juicy. The mashed potatoes were creamy and tasted delicious. The waffle fries were crispy and also seasoned well. All the food tasted fresh. The service was great. The ambiance was quiet, but we did go an hour before closing. We get off work late, sorry. However, my coworkers and I will definitely be back. read more

Rudest server ever. Trying to enjoy dinner with my sister for her birthday. Of course she is going to use her free birthday dessert so she tried to show the server when we first arrived so that he would know that she wanted it at the end of our meal. As I've done plenty of times when getting anything free as a courtesy. He tells her we will worry about that later before she even has a chance to finish her sentence. Sisters boyfriend ordered a red-bull drink . Got a can of redbull no drink. Then when he tried to correct the server he brought him just a watermelon lemonade. So still the wrong drink. This place was absolutely a joy to eat at. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it! Usually fries are bland at places, at least in my experiences but those fries were so so good, they were seasoned just right. Oh and the service was the best thing about it, our waitress was so so amazing and so caring for the kids. There was light in my tables eyes and we asked if she would shut the blinds she straight away did it and even asked if we wanted it turned the other way. The looks of the place were not all that bad either. The tables were nicely set and when you sit down they give you napkins that have a cute saying on it. Also no bugs or rodents seen (I know that's a lot of things people are scared of seeing) also I absolutely LOVED their cinnamon roll bites. I was too full from my food to finish them so I took them home in a to-go box. Love this place! Only problem is the to-go boxes are kinda difficult sometimes. Definitely recommend. read more

Prime rib dipper was mostly burned meat. I really wish I had taken a picture! Applebee's as a franchise surely has standards much higher than the level of this location. I don't even want to quote the movie Couples Retreat anymore after the taste of charcoaled meat! The wait staff was cordial. I did have to remind the server that I ordered waffle fries with my meal...I got the waffle fries for free. I was really hungry so I ate half of the sandwich. I should have quit eating it a LOT sooner so I could show the severely charred flesh to the manager. I do not recommend this restaurant. We arrived in the early evening on a Saturday night into Hot Springs from out of town. Applebee's was the only restaurant that didn't have a packed parking lot, so we pulled in. That was an obvious clue we shouldn't have overlooked. The food was not good. The restaurant inside was dirty and wore out. There were holes in the carpet on the stairs, the bar was closed because they lost their liquor licensee and the walls and window blinds were really dirty. We were seeing each other for the first tome in years what should have been a fun reconnecting with each other quick dinner turned into a fiasco. Worst experience ever. We got our seats quickly and then everything came to a complete halt! Our beverages took 15 minutes to get after they were ordered. Our appetizers were cold and took a long time to get to the table. One of the worst I've ever been to. Took forever to be seated and hardly any customers. Riblets and other food was terrible. People walking in just to walk back out because they were never acknowledged. Watched an elder couple come in (wife with cane) and took forever to get them seated. Then they were never waited on. I had to tell my waitress that no one has helped them.. She walked over (about 6 ft from my table) and told them their waiter was busy at the bar (maybe 2 people at the bar). They finally left and was sad to see them barely able to walk out and him helping her back in the car. I also witnessed the manager running her mouth (very loud) and laughing with some other couple at another table. I hope your restaurant is shut down. You people disgust me. Go for the drinks, not the food. The Benton, At location has one manager that's trying to work while the other hides In the office. There is a reason you lost two cooks. Management isn't always about watching people work. Waiting two hours for an entree that's a wrap and frys is ridiculous. I feel bad for the hourly employees at this location. read more

This is one of the best values for not fast food but food fast. 89% of the time you're not waiting a long time . Just don't go too early in the day because servers will be sitting in the high tables which I require due to walking impediment. I sat down at the bar and a friendly, portly gentleman struck up a conversation with me, I believe his name was Bradley. The conversation got to the point where he asked me if I could buy him a bucket of bud light. He followed that up with asking, "ever walk on the wild side?" I didn't know what that meant so Bradley brought my out back behind the dumpster and gave me the worst blowjob of my life, very toothy. I didn't even cum. My friend and I stopped in a couple of weeks ago & decided to get the 2 for $25. Our drinks were only refilled once (because the server kept disappearing) but she charged us $3 per refill. I ordered my 6oz. Steak medium and when it came out it was well done and literally was like having sand in my mouth, yet we did not complain and kept smiling any time that the server would walk by, yet she wouldn't ever stop to ask if everything was okay. Horrible food, horrible service, & one of the WORST waitresses I've ever experienced in my life. STAY FAR AWAY! Go to Chili's, they never disappoint but Applebee's seems to disappoint every time. This place has literally the worst service I have ever experienced. I've been here a total of three times, and I've only gotten reasonable service once, when the place was pretty busy. Came in once for dinner early in the evening, service was very spotty after delivering my drink order. Came in again around the same time a month or so later (figured I ate at that other, much better "american" food establishment down the street a lot recently, so why not try the bee's again, their food is decent enough), and there was no hostess to seat us for what seemed like five minutes. The bartender finally sat us at a booth. Then, we sat for at least ten, maybe close to fifteen minutes without ANYONE waiting on us. The bartender wasn't busy, the place wasn't busy, it seemed like people worked there, but I couldn't get any attention even when asking for it. Screw this place. The only reason it is popular is that they serve alcohol and stay open late on weekdays, and have TVs. That's IT. read more

This is probably my favorite "Go-to" or "Can't decide where" restaurant chain. The reason for my 3 star review is as follows. The overall service from the staff was below par. The waitress stopped by our table twice. Once to take our order and second to deliver our food. The hostess ended up taking our drink order and delivered them since our server did not stop by our table within the first 15 minutes of us being there. Then we have the food. The spinach and artichoke dip was great but we enjoyed it for about two bites before our main course came in and we sacrificed the dip of the fear of eating cold steaks and shrimp. The steak I received was more on the "rare" side than medium but nevertheless it was okay. Will i return? Maybe but today's events will for-sure make me think twice before going back. read more

Get home my burger was over cooked, only had 2 shriveled slices of bacon, no fries, no salad. The desert I ordered the Apple fritter. Look and had the texture of an item that had been in the deep frier 6 times. This is probably the worst Applebee's I have ever ordered from. Oh did I mention no pickles on my burger. I would put -5 stars if I could. The food was cold, we asked for some limes (because we ordered drinks) it took 15 minutes to get them and when we did they were covered in ranch!! The sever "Lucky" was not attentive it took 20 minutes for her to even realize that the tablet (the thing you pay on with credit card) had died and we were waiting for her to bring another one. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at an Applebees!!!!! Will be calling corporate in the morning to notify them of this situation!! TERRIBLE!!!! read more
