The food was good. The service was also good. However I noticed the bill was noticeably higher than it should have been, dishonestly higher, considering I left a cash tip on the table. My bill was charged money that was not listed on my receipt at all. I ordered mozzarella sticks,(4 small appetizer )wonton chicken tacos, two burgers that came with fries and two ice teas. Billed $73.17. I don't suggest anyone in Henderson KY or surrounding area go there and eat their overpriced food. Go to. Hoodburgers or H-n-t's for better quality food for a way fairer price. read more

Well it was a little slow when we first entered but once we sat down Q our server/waitress took good care of us. She was very attentive and helpful and patient with us. The food was good took some time to come out but I enjoyed just relaxing with my wife. Plus the restaurant was very quiet and peaceful read more

The service was outstanding. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. My husband and I both ordered the Oriental Chicken Salad from the lunch menu. Mine was absent any "Asian greens and vinegarette. It was a deep bowl of Cole slaw, with mayo. Also with the chicken, noodles, and almonds on top. The chicken was fried properly and tasty. That's where the goodness ended. I hate mayo based slaw, especially it I was expecting something entirely different. The breadstick was dry and unappetizing. My husband's salad looked more like an oriental salad, but it also had slaw mixed in. We also had artichoke dip with tortilla chips for the appetizer. It wasn't bad, but wasn't up to Applebees (previous) standards either. The restaurant was clean and quiet at 11:30 am. I should add that this used to be my favorite salad! read more

The food was wonderful I had the all you can eat rib lets and shrimp and chicken boneless wings. The Service was excellent I never ran out of water and when I was finished with the shrimp the waiterious was there to put in another order. The ambiance was very pleasing and the music is not so loud you couldn't hear the other person. read more

The staff today I guess are just content with their hourly pay because you have to beg them to help you and it's ridiculous in there. It's like please send the place a manager. This is like a country club that don't want any new customers on a Sunday read more

Do not order from them using Door dash! You won't get all of your order and the management wasn't being helpful. This is what causes places to loose paying customers. Shame on you! read more

Food was hot but not made correctly. Drink refills were scarce. Manager did reduce ticket. Very few people eating at the time so I assume a staffing issue. read more

forgot to give me my food, didn't give us kids menus, had to ask for refills, no one checked on us. and it was dead like they weren't busy at all so idk why service was slow read more

My servers name was Ashley. She was hilarious me and my husband were laughing the entire time with the service. The food was lovely and came out in a very timely manner. Our bar drinks as well were to par. The atmosphere of the place was great. their workplace seems to be centered around community and family!! Overall a 8.5/10 in my opinion! Will be back if we drive through Henderson again! read more

You treat your staff like garbage. I witnessed a hostess breaking down because she was sick and just wanted to go home, our waiter doing EVERYTHING, no tables bussed, and, understandably, horrible food served. (I'm pretty sure there was no staff in the kitchen and everyone was just hanging on) I feel so bad for the staff there. Do better. read more

Food is okish. The service is slow and the environment is just overall bad. If you're on a tight schedule don't come here. Took 15 minutes for our waiter to get our orders, and took about 20 minutes for food to get here. And the restaurant was almost completely empty! The booth we sat in was very dirty. The floors were sticky in the bathroom and the floors in the restaurant were completely stained and looked horrible. Not very good, I'm dissatisfied. They used to be good but have fallen off. read more

I ate there with my coworkers. The combo appetizer was pretty good for multiple choices. I ordered a Shrimp'N (forget the middle word) Sirloin, which was right for my taste. There were not so many customers inside when we got there, so it was quite comfortable sitting in and got a bottle of beverage. read more

DO NOT order to-go here. I truly believe everyone deserves multiple tries, but after the disaster I just paid 30 dollars for, I will be opting to go elsewhere in the strip and recommending others to do the same. I ordered Mac and cheese that come topped with chicken tenders-- and what I got was a goopy mess. Noodles swimming in a pool of grease and honey sauce. Next to no cheese. Bizarre. Last time, they dropped my entire order and I received everything cold and crushed. Some type of quality control needs to be done here. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - American Near Me - Henderson, Kentucky

I ordered the Butcher's Choice 12 Oz sirloin (well done) with mashed potatoes and garlicky green beans to go.I received a steak that was pink in the middle and received steamed broccoli instead of the green beans. I guess they figured since they are just one of a couple of places in town where you can get a steak doing it right does not matter. So much for decent dining choices in Henderson,Ky. read more

Exceptional Applebee's: They are open until midnight everyday! Service is outstanding, especially if you sit at the bar and Savannah is the bartender! Ordered the 9 Oz sirlion (medium), broccoli and mashed potatos. Steak was perfect! Broccoli was cold (really no fault of the kitchen because broccoli disapates heat faster than any food on the plantet. Mashed potatoes were better than any other Applebee's I have been to. Larger portion (possibly because I am eating so late) and large chucks of potatoes in them. Combine all this with a very good Bourbon and diet coke to make this a great ending to a long day! Plenty of TV's to catch up on a days worth of college football scores! The only downside.......it is snowing outside. :( Being from Atlanta I really do not need to see this, but work mandates that I see customers even if it snows there. The great customer service from Savannah makes up for the dismal weather. If you are in the area, and your stopping at Applebee's, try to be here when she is working! Decided for myriad of reasons to skip desert this evening. Have to get up too early in the morning :) read more

Well... gotta say... disappointed. Service definitely not their strong point. Empty cups and dirty appetizer plates hanging around. Food got here. Steak cooked all wrong and food was cold. So disappointing! And again.... worst part is NO COCA-COLA PRODUCTS! Ugh! #PepsiSucks! Not certain I'll be back. Sorry Applebee's.... expected better. read more

Usually their service is horrible, but I went in the afternoon, around 1, and we actually had a good waitress. Food still took a while to arrive, but I guess if your gonna go to Applebee's, go during lunch and avoid the horrible service. read more

Decided to get a late dinner tonight. Sat in the bar so we could watch the Cubs play. The service was slow. The bartender apparently ignored our waitresses order and she came back for our dinner order before we even got a glass of water. We were forced to listen to rap music that included some guy shouting about touching himself while watching a video. But the topper of the night was a male employee brought in food from Taco Bell and shared it with the bartender while she continued to wait on customers from behind the bar. Won't be back at night ever again. One less restaurant in Henderson to enjoy. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Our unfortunate evening at Applebee's in Henderson,KY - American Near Me - Henderson, Kentucky

Applebee's is so great I have had my steak cooked perfect every time and my salad is awesome I have had only one problem and that was because the person couldn't read so they fired him other than that one problem I love it especially this girl janelle she is just a perfect waitress she makes sure every order is perfect THANK YOU APPLEBEES!! read more

Ready for along wait for your food? Because that's what you are in for at this Applebee's. It was my grandmother's 96th birthday - yes, the restaurant staff was aware of the nature of our occasion - and we waited for more than an hour for our food. When we complained, we were told, "Sorry, but we're really rushed. Everyone came in at the same time for lunch." I looked around the restaurant and it was half empty. Other tables got their food before us. One of our party had to leave without eating. The restaurant took his meal off our bill, without our asking, and that was nice. But cold, late food? No, that's unacceptable. When I shared this experience with others in Henderson, I was always told the same thing, "Oh, yes, we had that experience too and that's why we don't go there." read more

We were visiting from Chicago and Detroit so maybe it's just a cultural difference not being from "the South." Service was so slow at this place. Lemon for our iced teas didn't come until we were almost finished with our first glasses. A party of 4 and one entree came out solo that wasn't even what we ordered. It took at least 5 minutes for a server to figure this out and come back to retrieve it. This was a mac-n-cheese w/ crispy chicken and bacon dish. When it eventually arrived the bacon was maple flavored and cheese non-existent. Cold noodles w/ pancake syrup and frozen chicken bits is what they should've called it. The other 3 of us had grilled items. Nothing more disappointing than waiting for a hot, grilled, juicy steak and instead getting a cold, dry piece of gray meat. The broccoli and baked potato weren't even warm enough to melt the butter. read more

My Husband and I went on a lunch date. We were the only 2 in the whole restaurant the only 2.. Our waitress her service was good little over bearing. About every other bite of salad she was standing there asking is everything still with our mouths full I mean we couldn't answer of course and then I'm guessing he was the manager walked up Food good again with mouths full. And that wasn't even the not so good part. Now mind U we r on a day date it's rare we ever get out to eat due to my medical issues. But we were not able to have a simple conversation due to the Blonde ponytailed short girl behind the bar yelling as loud as she could without screaming about how hot and good looking she is and how it takes a line of washer at the laundry mat for her to do her clothes. No one could talk but did try to talk over her. And the man bun wearing man yelling back at her ( You know I'm right here You know I can still here U). At this point 2 others had come in and been seated. Our food arrived Double Crunchy Shrimp more like Cook to a Crisp dried out broke my tooth shrimp. Now with only 4 customers in the Whole Big Restaurant 2 more arrived and with the no one on the other side oof the restaurant They seated them almost right on top of us. So at this point if we would have wanted to talk there would have been no chance because of not only them speaking the waitress waiting on them and again us the blonde and Bun man were still very loud. We were not Pleased Nor will we ever EAT OR RECOMMEND anyone to EAT there... Waist of 30.00 and 1date lost... read more

Place is terrible! Especially if you order to-go. Don't waste your money, you're better off going to Arby's or Burger King.

Let me tell you... My son had a baseball tournament here and we ate here in between games. This was the best Applebee's I have ever been to, and I've been all over this country. I almost want to make the 2 hour drive from Louisville just to eat here. This is what it should be! read more

We were driving through and stopped at Applebee's. Brandi, the bartender, was great. She was so nice, informative and genuinely happy with working for Applebee's. She is the type of employee every employer wishes for. And more importantly, she is the type of person that will bring customers back! Great people person. We had dinner later, and the meal was good. Our waitress was busy but very attentive and friendly. read more

Horrible manager. Manager refused to honor senior citizens discount. Had a free appetizer coupon and she would only honor it as a 5.00 remodel discount. Waitress knew nothing about menu. Took forever to get food and then was given the wrong order. She came back and said she just grabbed the wrong plate. Waitress tried to short us 20.00 when we paid with a 100.00 bill. Was it a mistake or not? Food all over the floor like kids had a food fight. Will never go back. Will go across river to Evansville In if we want Applebees. Will probably never want Applebees again. Only good thing I can say is hostess was very nice. read more
