Kaliyah our server was absolutely one of the best wait staff I have met in years. She said she had only been waiting tables for five months, but how she conducts herself and is attentive and simply outstanding. Luckily, we found a parking spot right away, this parking lot is always full no matter what time it is. I would have to say tonight it was a flop. We got there and were seated way in the back. The place was already beginning to get crowded even though it was early. The music was so loud my girlfriend seating right across from me could not hear me trying to talk to her. We both ordered the prime rib and found it had a lot of gristle and fat. We thought the waitress was rude. She came over with the bill, and even though I had not finished eating. My wife and I love Texas Roadhouse. It is our go-to place when we want more than fast food. We visited the Evansville, Indiana location on Feb. 25th at 3:00pm. The food was amazing as always. The service was great. But... We passed a family leaving as we were going in, and this family had two dogs with them. After being seated and served, a single man came in and was seated at the table next to ours. He also had a dog with him. And before anyone says I'm a dog hater, I am not. I love dogs. But they do NOT belong in restaurants. This was not a service dog, just a pet. I blame the man for bringing it, but Texas Roadhouse should have stopped him at the door. What a great place to eat. My wife had the prime rib and I had the ribeye. Both were amazing. Texas Roadhouse has the absolute best house salads of any restaurant whether it's a chain or mom and pop restaurant. The rolls were great as well. This location is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Texas Roadhouse chain. My wife loved the mocktails and they have a good selection of drought beers. The manager and assistant manager both stopped by to make sure everything was good, sat at the bar and Bailey the bartender did a great job. The "Jump Ahead" card has no expiration date. It just says expires November 2024. We were told by one employee that it expired the first of November when we tried using it (on the 10th). While waiting to be seated, someone else came in with the same card and they went past us and was seated. Texas Roadhouse has no complint link for this situation. The food is always good, along with the service everytime we eat there. They need to fix the "Jump Ahead" card so this doesn't happen again. It's bad enough they went from allowing 6 in the party to 4 and it expired at the end of the year. Don't know why they keep changing things but it needs to stop. We spend thousands of dollars a year there to eat, but if this keeps up, we'll just go somewhere else. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch on Tuesday as we can never seem to get in on the weekends as it is so popular. We arrived at 2pm and there was already a line out the door. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter Kort brought fresh rolls and waters right away. My husband and I took his recommendation and ordered the country fried steak. For our sides we both also had the baked potato and salad with blue cheese. The salads were fresh and decorated with a fair amount of toppings. I also love that they serve the dressing on the side. When our entree was served and Kort set it in front of me, my eyes nearly popped out of my head and i immediately asked for a box for mine. My husband and I split his steak as they were HUGE. Took care of my elderly aunt when we just arrived St.Matthews Mall called my cell to let me know they found my wallet!! (The Server was so understanding and said "You go get your wallet, she's my Grandma Now!!" . I went got wallet and the server was sitting with her laughing!! I said, "Did I get replaced!!" UPDATE: I sent this exact review in an email to the regional manager. He was immediately responsive, apologized for my lack of response from our local restaurant. I had tried calling the restaurant roughly 20 times with no answer and the one time they did answer I left a message and they didn't return my call. The manager that contacted me was very helpful, kind, apologetic and refunded our entire meal even though I was only requesting a refund for the $7 dessert we didn't receive. I won't change my rating b/c it shouldn't have taken a month to resolve this issue. Plus two times in a row our steak tasted bad, like rancid bad. It has restored a little faith in the possibility of us returning to Texas Roadhouse, it just may be a while before we do! If they have switched meat vendors recently I would highly recommend they switch back. I'm sure I'm not the first to notice. If they haven't switched vendors then they need to train the kitchen staff better! YELP really should make zero stars an option b/c this restaurant doesn't deserve the ONE star I have to leave to write this review. 1. They didn't give us the dessert we ordered and paid for on our carry out order. 2. My steak was rancid, a piece fell on the floor and my dog wouldn't even it. I simply replied with an email stating I can't get a hold of anyone when I am available. She returned my call and put everything back on me, the customer, and even said "I'm just doing my due diligence by reaching out to you again" her AGAIN being the SECOND time she's had to pick up the phone and call me to the +/-20x I have called their restaurant w/o anyone answering their phone. -how about you do the right thing and refund us for the item we paid for and did not receive. I'm confused as to why Texas Roadhouse is so hard up it can't refund $6.99! I could understand if I were demanding all kinds of craziness but a refund for items we didn't receive is legit. I'm not even asking for a refund on the rancid steak! 4. I was sent a $20 coupon which is worthless to us b/c we won't be returning to what used to be one of our favorite restaurants. This is the second time since December we've received poor quality and just bad tasting food. We usually go there once every other month! But two times with poor quality food back to back, maybe they changed vendors and should change back. I told them that the coupon is of no value to us b/c we won't be returning. We just want our money back for the dessert we paid for but did not get. This isn't "overcompensation" as the manager Jamie sort of politely stated, it's a COUPON. We would still have to return and spend more of our money to eat at their restaurant. 5. Now I've tried calling for the past 5 days and have not gotten a single person to answer the phone. So how can I talk to you about making things better when your employees don't answer thenph Don't know what has happened to this place, it used to be our favorite and now they can't afford to refund someone $6.99 for items they didn't receive. Sad part is, that's all I'm asking and that's all I've said from the beginning. Just give us our money back since we paid for something we did not receive. Texas Roadhouse in Evansville is still one of my favorite places to eat. I just wish they opened for lunch during the week. We use the mobile app to get on the waiting list before we get their because it's always busy. The employees are always nice and smiling while they seat us and take care of us during our visit. Sent back, the manager brought a new one, manager didn't even know anything about the hair and never offered anything (not that we expected anything) got my steak, was never asked if I wanted anything else, my friend was eating the rolls there was 1-1/2 left and the server took the remaining rolls and threw them away. They allowed a child (who was white) to be sat in the isle in a high chair but made it an issue when my nephew (who is black) was sat in a highchair sit in the isle. Leaving; this place is horrendous, I have heard awful stories about what they do behind closed doors not only to their employees but to the food as well. One in particular employee by the name of Brooklyn who has two large neck tattoos was yelling at my family and I while we were just waiting on deck for our table. We had arrived just as the restaurant opened and we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant so we had assumed we would be seated fast, but Brooklyn started playing on her phone and even playing music at loud. When we asked about our table and how she isn't even doing her job she proceeded to say "Get out of my face you goofy ass hoe.".....
