Came here for dinner last Wednesday and was very happy with my visit. Fast food prices are outrageous and not worth it when I can come to Applebees and get a burger, unlimited fries, and a drink for 9.99! We initially came for this deal offering but were further enticed by the 14.99 build your own appetizer sampler. We picked pretzel bites, mozzarella sticks, and boneless buffalo wings. You are given the option of 3 side sauces. It was tasty and plenty for a group to share. The sauces enhanced our enjoyment of the appetizers. Our server Joe was excellent. Very friendly and continually gave us updates on when our items would be out. Everything was served in a timely manner and it did not feel like we had to wait very long. We were in and out within an hour. The restaurant was busy but not loud. We were still able to enjoy a nice dinner conversation in our booth with no distractions. I didn't take any pictures as I was very hungry this evening and got right to eating. To be able to get two dinner entrees with drinks, an appetizer, and a desert to share for under $50 (including tip) is very rare these days. I noticed signs for further deals such as half off select appetizers after 9pm. Due to deals like this and the ones mentioned above, I can see myself coming back when we want a night out on a budget. read more

Service was on point tonight. Not much happening on a Saturday at 5:30pm. Seated promptly, drinks delivered promptly and food order entered promptly. Wait staff were all friendly. All food orders came out correctly. Even each steak came as ordered, one medium and one well done. The chicken wonton tacos were delicious. The air conditioning was a bit cold for me but I planned ahead by bringing a sweatshirt. We frequent this location every once in a while. read more

Apple B's? No this place isn't B grade, it's A plus grade. Some of the staff played a cool prank where they said they had never heard of or watched football before. If you're looking for the local spot to sit down, eat boneless wings, drink beer out of a relatively tall glass, and watch the Thursday night game, then this is the place for you. Applebee's is serving up the NFL all season long. I can't tell what I like more, the decor or the ambiance? They're both stellar so it makes it difficult to truly decide. read more

Well, it's a carbon copy of the restaurants from San Diego to NYC. Service is reasonable and food is ok. Have to have the appropriate expectations and this isn't different from those places of similar fare. Our party did the club, riblets, chicken salad and onion soup. Regretfully the soup was lukewarm, and the riblets while tender had a very salty sauce on top. The salad was judged to be good however. Staff was accommodating albeit somewhat forgetful. Ordered food to go. Did the 2 for 20. Onion rings, half rack of ribs, & bourbon chicken & shrimp with fries. Then we ordered 2 Lava cakes. Only good thing about the order was the onion rings were crispy & they knew to put the ice cream separate from the lava cake. The fries were drenched in oil from the chicken so the were soggy & gross. The chicken had so much seasoning it was like eating a block of salt & it was inedible. The ribs were so tough & no meat that they weren't edible either. Spent over $45 & it was far from worth it. Will never ever order or go here again. read more

Stay away from Applebee's in Perinton/Fairport, NY. This location has very poor management and the franchise owner won't fire them. The franchise owner is not a very good employer himself/herself. They don't treat their guests very well and this location is not very accommodating to people with physical disabilities such as people in a wheelchair or walking with a walker. The manager on duty was very rude to my fiancée and I when he asked us to leave because my fiancée was intoxicated. I tried to take matters in my own hands as I was the designated driver trying to get her home. She refused to go home with me and wanted more wine. The bartenders and the manager on duty said that 3 glasses was the limit. I then had to call the cops to assist us with this situation as the manager on duty wouldn't back off. I stayed there until the cops arrived. The cops assisted us and took my fiancée to our car. The manager on duty then banned my fiancée and I from that location for life. We will never dine at that location again. read more

It's Applebees... not great but surprisingly good food for a chain. We had one of those Delta Sonic coupons from Christmas that we had to use by the end of March. We were in the area running errands so why not... After a short wait at the bar we were seated in a booth nearby - away from the kid zone! The waitress was friendly and once we shuffled through the many menus, menu supplements, and other leaflets we ordered our meals. A burger, which was properly done "pink" (they have a limited choice of pink or no pink) was good. I put together an app combo that included sriracha shrimp, boneless wings with a sweet Asian sauce and their wonton tacos. All were pretty darn tasty. I also sampled one of their special tropical drinks at the bar with coconut rum, banana liquor, etc. - good but a bit pricey given all of the ice. We did not go in with high expectations... and they were exceeded. read more

Me and my family came here and waited at least 20 minutes to be seated then from there once seated it took at least 10 minutes to get our menus and silverware. After that no one checked on us to get us our drinks for about a half n hour of sitting here. They messed up or drinks, the simplest of orders. Once they came to take our order the waitress had to have us re say what we wanted multiple times to get it through her thick skull. We didn't get our appetizer after sitting for an hour, and someone tried to come back to our table to take our order again because the frost lady "didn't get it". We've eaten there 3 times in 3 different locations and haven't ever been happy with it. The corn on the cob was shriveled, freezer burnt and tasted like cardboard. The portions are always minuscule. My chicken didn't taste quite right once. Once they gave us the wrong check and insisted it was ours even though there were 3 of us in our party and 5 entrees on the check they said was ours. We had to involve the manager who wasn't very friendly. I DO like their lemonades though. And the atmosphere wasn't bad. read more

Sadly, Applebee's has been slowly kicking itself out of Rochester over the past few year (we lost our Pittsford Plaza Applebee's a year or so ago, without much fanfare). I really wish I could give an updated review of the same or even better experience than the last time I was here but unfortunately that's not the case. Last night a group of 7 of us went to Applebee's for my mother's birthday thinking it would be a nice casual evening out for dinner. While Alicia our server was excellent the food was not up to the same status. Since there were 7 of us it worked out that 6 of us could pair off and get the two for $20, $25 or $29 meals. My grandfather and niece got the boneless chicken wings for an appetizer, which were supposed to come with a mild wing sauce on the side but instead came with a very spicy buffalo type sauce - and for their entrees they both had the ribs, which they enjoyed. My younger sister and I had the artichoke dip for our appetizer which seemed to be made from the freezer to the microwave and on to our table. Lacked in artichokes and was runny and watery. For our entrees I got the 6oz. Steak which was cooked nicely and tasted average for a chain restaurant but the broccoli it came with was soggy and at the same time had a burnt taste as well, not sure how that's possible... and unfortunately my sister ordered the Chicken and Shrimp dish which is supposed to be cooked and served on a hot skillet, the skillet was like warm and the chicken and shrimp were cold. We let Alicia know and the manager was right behind her; instead of him talking to us he kept asking Alicia while we were talking to her "what's wrong, what's wrong, what do they want instead" I felt bad for our waitress that was doing the best she could to help us out. My sister ended up deciding to nix the dish and entree replacement all together. The same chicken and shrimp dish was also what my mother and other sister ordered- came out the same way but they decided to let it go and try to just eat it anyways, since they didn't want my grandfather upset. The staff did however come out and sing and give my mom a brownie, which was nice. And the manger gave us a $20 discount, although he sent Alicia over to tell us and give us the bill instead of (in addition to her coming over) him coming over and talking to us. Lack of proper management and food standards (quality) seems to be a continuing reoccurring issue, hopefully that will change. read more

Been to Applebee's numerous times and each experience varies in quality. They have some very good menu options, and the service can be very good. But it all depends on the day. I've gone and had some great food with some great service. But I've also gone and had to send multiple food items back with not so great service, and everything in between. It doesn't keep me away, but it may extend the time between visits. read more

It's Applebee's. The food at the Fairport location is usually good as is the service. Many options on the menu though I only prefer a handful of them. But...Hallelujah they brought back the Oriental Chicken Salad Wrap. I guess me ordering the salad with a side tortilla finally paid off. Long time servers understood. The younger ones never did. Came here with minimal expectations (do to previous experiences with other Applebee's locations), but was pleasantly surprised. We got the "2 for $20" deal and the appetizer was mozzarella sticks. We actually got eight (8) sticks, which was more than I expected for a combo meal. they were tasty too! For my platter I got a cheeseburger and fries. I ordered the burger medium rare and was told they do "some pink" or "no pink", but it was pretty rare. Still, I don't mind rare and it was juicy, so I ate it and didn't complain. My guest was not impressed with it, but her meal was good for her. We didn't order dessert so I can't comment on that. Service was pretty good. read more

Arrived at this packed Applebees at 6:45 pm on a Wednesday evening with my family of 5. The host assured us of 10 minute and noted that we were third on the list. 30 minutes later, we start to notice that several parties that arrived after us were being seated in booths that could easily accommodate our family. The kids were getting hungry so I spoke with the host and mentioned that we'd be glad to split our party to arrange seating. 15 minutes later, we are finally seated in the same size booth that we'd seen others (who arrived later than us, with no reservations) be placed in before of us. Our waitress was friendly and perky despite having an obviously tired and unhappy crew at her table. She promptly took our order and then. . . we waited. 30 minutes to get food that had obviously been sitting under the warmers for quite some time. Don't know if the kitchen staff was just that terrible, or if our waitress completely missed that the food was ready. Food was barely luke warm, fries were soggy - can't believe that I paid for it but I was ready to cut my losses and run. I can not recommend this restaurant, especially for families. Our experience was horrible and the kids all agreed that they never want to go here again. read more

Brought the girls (6 and 7 yrs old) here for a girls night out dinner. Great location for families. Our server Tonya was great. The most important thing for a server to do is to make sure the customer is ok.l however I find the constant 'how is everything' to be annoying. She constantly checked on us silently (but I notice cause I'm like that). Made sure she was there if we needed anything. The mark of a true professional. Kids had kids meals. Meh. It's kids meals. I do like the variety they can choose from and the side options. Only complaint is the single kid sized burger is teeny. I had the brunch burger. Brioche bun, thick burger, hash browns (yes on it!), onions, cheese, fried egg. I'm not a thick burger fan but this was so good. I only had half! This was my girlfriend and mine go to Applebee's for a while since we had issues at a lot of the other locations in Rochester, food was always cooked right, staff friendly, just a good place to go for a chain restaurant. But last night, it all changed. My girlfriend has her food made with out any seasoning for health reasons and every other time we have been, she has asked for her side of Broccoli to be plain with no butter or seasonings, never has been an issue, till last night when our server gave us attitude about the simple request, got our food, everything was cooked right except the broccoli, most likely because the server didn't put the request in, a manager came over, who also had a bit of a smirk got it corrected, then said she would bring us honey mustard and never did. We legit just paid the bill after that and left and are not going back. It's sad because the servers we had before there were great and the cooks In the back really do a nice job, but this one server and manager ruined it for us, next time we will take our business else where. read more

Their Customer Service is amazing. I ordered food from this location through DoorDash and asked for no bacon, when the food arrived I realized there was bacon on it. I called them and ended up speaking to a Manager who told me he would replace my order, and that I could keep the original (which ended up feeding an extra person). When I came to pick up my order, not only was I greeted almost instantly, I received my food, an extra order of fries, AND a $10 Applebees voucher given to me by hand from the Manager himself. I could tell they really wanted to make it up to me, and they did just that. I honestly couldn't be happier with everything and I seriously recommend going here, because as we all know Customer Service is huge, and they went above and beyond. Less than pleased with my dinner. Took 20 minutes to get seated. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. The dip was good but came with very very stale chips. They were so stale, they were almost unchewable. I ordered the steak and egg dish with fries and garlic green beans as my sides. The steak was good but the egg was like rubber. It was harder to cut and chew than the steak. The topping on the egg was so salty I couldn't eat it. The green beans were cold and plain. They didn't even come with butter on them. The fries were so over seasoned I had to drown them in ketchup to even stand eating them. My son got a corn dog and yogurt and I have to say his food tasted better than mine. read more
