I've been to Jeremiah's in the area before and have always had a fine experience. Great place to go to for quality wings. I ordered the wings and was very pleased with the quality and flavor of sauce. They were saucy and crispy. The only thing I don't like is you can't choose more than one sauce for an order of 10, they ask you to order two 1/2 orders which costs more than the order of 10. The menu itself is very limited, wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade with some newer items as the menu has been the same for as long as I can remember. The service was great. Our server was very helpful and consistently checked on us to make sure we had all we needed. Yesterday I had the worst nachos of my life at Jeremiah's. They should take this off the menu immediately. I could do better even if I was very drunk. The nachos came out looking like they had been sitting in the window for a half hour- they probably were. The chips were burnt. The cheese was concealed. I opted to pay the extra $5 to have pulled pork. That was dried out. It came with salsa on the side. The one ounce cup of salsa was only half full. I wondered if they had taken it off someone else's plate. In general their food is decent, but really it's hit or miss if your order will come out right, depending who is working that day. read more

I worked with food for 30 years. The service I had was so terrible that I waited a full week to compose my suggestions for improving the Jefferson Road location. Since not one food or beverage item was fit to be served to a customer (1 flat beer, a replacement beer that was stale, and 3 different food items) I recommend demoting the restaurant manager, the manager on duty that day, and the entire back of the house staff. No customer should have been served an entire meal, including a replacement item for the initial item that was that bad. The food and beverages were not a little bit off, they were just plain awful. Please note the two of Jerimiah's signature items were not good enough to leave the kitchen door. My "go-to" will not see me return for several months. If I am ever served a meal that bad again I will never set foot in any Jerimiah's. I have been a faithful customer at two locations for decades. Sweet and spicy sauce, with crispy seasoned fries! My partner got a ruebon and also thought it was delicious, but caught a little bit of fatty corned beef. I was Jones-ing for some Fish and Chips to celebrate the Big F1 race that happened in Britain earlier today. I prefer to call it Britain over great Britain because I feel like calling it great Britain is a little "braggy", but that's just me. Anyway, Jeremiah hooked it up with some fresh fried haddock and chips, although I was a little disappointed you don't get one large fried chunk of fish, but 4 separate pieces. With that being said, the flavor and crunch were there, which is ultimately what I'm looking for in a good fish and chips. I was also stoked to see they had the ellicottville blueberry wheat beer as I've been trying to get this for a little while now. Recommend the beer and the place. Since the early 80's I have had countless meals at Jeremiah's on Monroe Ave. Today I visited Jeremiah's in Penfield. I ordered what was supposed to be boneless wings but instead I was served round chicken nuggets. They were not made in house by any means. I was served frozen pressed and formed fried chicken scraps that were thrown into a fryer to heat them up. They tasted like garbage. Jeremiah's used to be the gold standard for wings in Rochester. Boneless chicken wings were made from fresh chicken breasts which were cooked in house and were delicious. Very disappointed! Horrible experience. read more

Had lunch with a girl friend who suggested Jeremiah's for lunch. I was never there before and was pleased with the casual, tavern ambiance. The food was very good. I had French onion soup with an order of chicken wings. Both were delicious. My friend had her usual bacon cheeseburger and really enjoyed it. We have had reliably good meals at the Fairport location of Jeremiah's. The only negative we had on our last visit was our kids macaroni and cheese came out cold, and she commented on it, which meant it was really cold because she otherwise would just scarf it down. I went in to get a table for myself and 3 friends. At 11:40 AM, it was FAR from busy in the dining area. I waited over 15 minutes for the hostess to come out of the bathroom to seat me. I told her we would need a table for 4. She grabbed the menus and silverware settings, walked me to the table, and put them in the middle of the table. I placed them at each seat and realized she only gave me 3. I asked her for another one, and she said, "I didn't hear what you said." She came back and flung the items at me, and i placed them on the table as i had with the first 3. My friends arrived and we gave our server our drink orders. She was gone for quite a while after bringing them and coming back to take our orders. The food runner or cook brought our food. Still, it wasn't busy... but she came back only once to ask if we needed anything and disappeared again for a long time. She came back and asked one friend if she needed a box to go. My friend replied yes, and the server disappeared again for a while. When she finally returned she handed the box to the friend who asked for it, ACROSS THE FRONT OF our other friend WHILE she was STILL eating. We finished our meals and got our payments out to pay. She looked over at our table once, and we didn't see her again, once again, for quite a while. By this time, it had gotten busy. I had to go over to the POS area to hand her our check and payment. We couldn't just leave the money on the table because I was using my card. We are very patient and appreciate our servers and food service workers, but this experience was abysmal. I can say there were no complaints about the meals. The food saved the rating, making it 3 stars. Our server was tipped well, mainly because my friends didn't have payment closer to the amount of their orders... If it had been busy, we could possibly justify the less than satisfactory experience, but it wasn't, and we can't. read more

Morgan waited on our surprise birthday party of 10 people and didn't miss a beat . We were all over the place with our balloons and orders and nonsense, but she sailed through it with aplomb . We started with apps and drinks and finished with 10 entries - all presented professionally in a timely manner despite the chaos. I have tried this restaurant three times and it still falls short. Service is spotty, sometimes you get a nice greeting, other times it's impossible to get service. The food has been too cold, too greasy, and one time served to a toddler scalding hot. Beer selection is good. Bartender service is usually okay. There is a faint odor like a wet cleaning rag used to wipe down tables that isn't clean. There are two dart machines, but it is not a real "game bar" atmosphere. read more

We even asked where we were on the list, and we were told we were next. We then watched everyone in the lobby get seated, except for us. We have decided not to go back for an extended period of time and hopefully they can get it together.
