So it was Thursday night when my friends and I went. We got there at 10:10ish and didn't leave til 12:30. We waited 2 hours for our food to come out wrong, gross, and cold. The manager took everything off our bill and gave us 50% off of the rest of the stuff we had, still low quality though. Our server was really good though she was very attentive and tried her best to take care of us. They need to get ahold of their kitchen before they go out of business to be completely honest. Not worth the money you spend. read more

Applebee's: Your (Neighbor)hood Bar & Grill. The kitchen closes at 12:30, but apparently this is at the peak of "Club Apple" time. If you want to be a part of a family, neighborhood restaurant then feel free to bring your kids, date or spouse into a lovely atmosphere blaring music featuring the words "pussy," "motherfucker," "shit," etc. This may come across as one slip up of the radio selection; however, this persisted for well over an hour. Some solid service was strongly overshadowed by a manger so hellbent on "attempting" to appeal to the local college crowd that they care little for the rest of the Dalton population. Enjoy. read more

The waitresses work hard and the new manager is A well..... I'll just say awful. Though the general consensus was a much worse terminology. He RUINED our New Year's. We brought a huge group. They advertised a New Year's Party? So we went where we could take our kids to enjoy on the celebration. The Karaoke DJ was so awesome. Fun and was VERY accommodating to the managers unreasonable request but that manager went too far. He kept telling the DJ to turn it down until you couldn't hear the music at all. He stomped around like a troll. Smugg faced and unfriendly. I saw a waitress offer to put a New Year's Necklace on him and he pushed her hand away and pointed for the others to remove Thiers. Disgusting. We go to Applebee's a lot in Chattanooga and Fort Oglethorpe. Always have loved it. This was the worst ever. The food was so badly cooked over sauced to cover up how stale it was, French fries were disgusting so over seasoned, we had to send it back then just left it uneaten and paid for food we Couldn't EAT! WE ALL SPENT $50+ and tipped well. The $1 margaritas the pushed were a small 10oz shot if mix and no alcohol in a red Solo cup full of ice!! A "jello shot" girl went around but $1.06 for a dried up residue at the bottom of the cup shot? Who carries pocket change anymore? They charged for minut portions and skimped at every item. Very few stayed for the new year's "celebration" the manager ruined everything for everyone. The minute people started getting happy and into it he'd come over and shut it down. He shut the party and DJ down early too. I will NEVER go here again. Unless an attitude adjustment and proper training is given to your management staff. Your waitresses worked hard and he made it harder on them. It was hard to watch. Waste of money. Went home hungry and disappointed on a sentimental time of year that we wanted to share with our daughter. Not sure if we will go back to Applebee's again. Red Robin is quickly becoming a new favorite. The managers seem to actually care about thier staff, customers and enjoy thier jobs. It's been a really bad year for many of us. We were hoping to ring in the new year on a positive note. Thanks to your management we threw our money away to be mistreated. Don't advertise a "party" if your not going to allow it. read more

Applebees is one of my favorite restaurants. The location in Dalton, GA is great and they have always had great customer service, I am a frequent customer and I noticed that they changed their staff, hopefully the service is still great. read more

Went here and a roach seriously crawled out of my pretzels. The size of this roach is what got me. It was about an inch long. The beer cheese and pretzels appetizer. I was comped for the incident as in the manager taking the two meals off along with the appetizer. The thing is I never even touched the food after that incident so of course that's what anyone would do. I asked for an incentive to ever come back to the restaurant and BRAD the manager said he wouldn't do that for us. I will not be eating at this restaurant ever again. read more

Great price on the $1 beer. It sucks that the people next to me had a cockroach come out of there food. I watched it and watched there scared faces. But unfortunately I just finished eating my food. Now I remember why I don't come to this restaurant read more

This location was just remodeled. And I have to say that the staff and food was the worst I have had in a long time. The staff was nice enough but after getting our drinks wrong for the second time we just gave up. They forgot dressing on my Cesar salad. I ordered my steak med rare, It came out well. Now I understand to a point that some times meat is a little over but from med rare to we'll is ignorant. When the manager came and asked me about my steak I told him and he let me know of it was fine when. It came out of the kitchen but it was on a hot plate. The other 3 at the table were not all to happy either. Oh and apparently the manager likes to walk around the texting and bumping into people. read more

I tried to call for a Togo order. I got hung up 5 different times, and when I did place an order the guy didn't even ask for my name or anything. Never had the food ready. read more

Mediocre. The food seemed like it had been heated in a microwave and was the quality of a frozen dinner. Not worth what I paid for it.

After driving many miles we were looking forward to a nice meal. Big mistake stopping here. We waited a long time for our soup then immediately the dinner was brought out. The food was, literally, cold. Never saw the waiter again until he presented the bill. What a disappointment it was to have stopped here...never again. Our advice, don't go! read more

Dinning room not clean even though they were not busy at all. Waited and waited on my side salad before my dinner arrived (and we had a discussion about my choice of a wedge or regular), and all the sudden here comes my dinner. I told the waitress I guess I wasn't getting my salad and she ask did I want them to box it up to take home! No concern at all. Are you kidding me? Sure I want it boxed up. I will just put it on my dash and eat it tomorrow since I'm traveling. In my opinion, all or part of my meal should have been comped. read more

Today was the first day we have eaten at the Applebee's since it was rebuilt. The only padded seating is along the wall. No more private booths for two or four. This restaurant has lost it's feel. This restaurant does not offer French salad dressing or anything like it. The food and service was good but this is not where you want to go if looking for a private dinner. All the seating is open, your looking at everyone and everyone's looking at you. I want be back unless I go by myself to drink, and that will be done at the bar, which appears to have the most privacy. The front parking lot is tight and most of the people have to park in the rear which is a long walk to the front door. Theres just a few front parking spaces plus the handicap parking. I give this new rebuild an F. I cant quite figure out what crowd Applebee's is try to cater to now but it sure ain't mine. Applebee's can and should do better than this. read more
