After ordering from here for the third time in a month, I finally decided it was time to write this review. Each of the 3 times I ordered were carside orders. Unfortunately I don't have much to say in the positive sense. Both times, I arrived about 10 minutes before the expected "order ready" time made a call to the restaurant to let them know I was outside, and both time, I sat outside of the carside door with a clear view of my order sitting in the counter for about 20 minutes before someone brought it out (despite the runner standing behind the counter the entire time). Nothing makes your day less gratifying than coming home after seeing your food sit on a counter for 20 minutes, and opening a container with cold food when you get home. That being said, this last time blew it out of the water. I arrived in the same manner to see if I would witness a hat trick. The order was brought out uncharacteristically fast. However when I got home, I noticed a few things almost immediately. The shrimp/Chicken skillet was missing the side, The wonton taco shells were completely white and soft, on the border of undercooked while the quesadillas were the exact opposite; borderline burnt. The sour cream that came with the quesadillas was clumpy and completely separated, and of the two orders of boneless BBQ wings with ranch we were supposed to receive, we got one order of BBQ and one of Buffalo with blue cheese.. not sure which is worse: getting cold food or wrong/missing food... read more

One of the reasons we like to go to Applebee's Grill + Bar is because we know what we are going to get. Our waitress Friday was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks before dinner. My mango margarita was so good and there was more in the shaker. I had the shrimp bowl which was good and my husband got a quesadilla burger with a side salad instead of fries. The side salad was huge. We also got chips and salsa with the margarita. Enjoyed a late noon meal on the last day of 2022. Service was excellent, the food was good with hearty portions. Wife had Salmon and I had boneless wings and waffle fries. A lot of wings for the price and very meaty too. This Applebees is a as they say "good place in the neighborhood " and so I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is the second time I've given the a second chance after AWFUL service. Jessica never checked on us after getting our food, we had to flag her down to ask for another beverage. She never asked how our food was either. Didn't introduce herself. Doesn't engage. Just rude and We felt so unwelcome. Very poor customer service. And they weren't even busy. She checked on her other tables and not us. I had to ask for the drinks and she didn't even stop to acknowledge us she kept walking by and said "sure", lemon water and Pepsi. One of the servers we had before that had issues with was supposed to be rolling silverware and she was sitting there on her phone. Our server was standing there talking to her too. A good quality Applebee's is what I want to write, but know that won't be enough... Staff was friendly and delivered good service. Food was ordered and received within a timely matter. I ordered my standard wonton tacos which are always as good as I remember them. But I'm also not sure how you can mess those up. Personally when I go to Applebee's I always get the apps, they never disappoint. Their actual meals here have been hit or miss so I stick with appetizers. I went with a bunch of friends and we did their bundle/deal with appetizers which I'd recommend to anyone. Basically you get to make your own sampler platter which is perfect when you want to try new things or can't decide what appetizer you'd like. Nothing to complain about! I came here on Saturday night and despite being SUPER busy, the food was good and the service was great! I've been to this location several times and I have yet to have a negative experience. I actually expected problems on Saturday because it was so damn busy. The parking lot was nearly full and almost every table was occupied. There were 7 of us. Despite how crazy it was, our server was running all over the place but still managed to take good care of us and come back many times for various demands from the kids and the adults. I usually love Applebee's. This time was very disheartening. I ordered the RIBEYE STEAK which is the most expensive steak and usually very tender. This was very tough and stringy with gristle. Side were not correct on both our orders and was ice cold.They use Postmates delivery and total in Website was double original price. Im sure its hard managing togo orders during a pandemic when its so busy. I came in and placed a complex togo order and kind of acted like it was easy. I was frustrated i didnt get silverware or a receipt, but thats not the staffs fault. The food was great. The restaurant is beautiful. Just wish corporate Applebee's would make their app more complex. I see alot of hard working friendly staff that love what they do; serving gourmet food for a great price. I still cant think of a reason why there would be a policy against giving receipts unless asked for. Personally, I always want a receipt no matter where I go, and it can be embarrassing asking and waiting for an employee to process one, so I often just say fuck it and leave without saying anything. In this case. I was surprised there was no receipt because you guys process so many doordash orders. I just wont pickup Doordash orders from here anymore based on my last experience. Came in on Tuesday just before Happy Hour was over, at 5:55. Our server was Amanda. She had little to no personality and seemed to be going through the motions...nothing exceptional, friendly, warm, or welcoming. The French Onion soup came out with a hint of brown on the cheese, so we asked for it to be placed under the broiler so it would be much browner. Unfortunately, it was about the same, so we just figured they put it in an oven since the soup itself seemed over-cooked. We also had ordered a "loaded" baked potato without sour cream and it came out with sour cream. A manager or shift lead (no black uniform) brought it back without the sour cream, but never checked back after that. The kicker was when Amanda dropped off the bill and didn't say a word. Had dinner at this Applebee's this evening, we had excellent service and good food. Tried the spinach artichoke dip appetizer and it was superb, so good as I type this I want more! After the appetizer had one of the two for $20.00 entrees also very tasty but after the spinach dip we ended up taking most of it home to have for lunch. Our most recent visit to Applebees was very disappointing. We went for an early dinner and decided to try the 2 meat promotion choosing ribs and chicken. The ribs were tough/overcooked or possibly leftover from the previous day. The chicken breast was tough and felt as if it also was not freshly prepared. The steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. The waitress never asked us if things were satisfactory and didn't check back with us before bringing the bill. Hands down worst service I've ever experienced. Called ahead of time to ask if they would serve me with yellow papers spoke to the manager he said yes. Wait 20 minutes to be seated and for the manager to come okay my ID and he tells me he can't serve me with yellow papers and a picture ID when it is a legal form of identification. So I've been in the restaurant business for a few years now and I know that working in a restaurant can be draining and have long hours especially when you're the closing server or bartender, but Jesus show some sort of enthusiasm to your customers late at night. Our waitress Amanda showed no smile and made our visit automatically unwelcoming. The bartender that night was all smiles to her customers, but Amanda showed no emotion. Been to this Applebee's before for lunch but never for a later time. We came for food and the $1 long islands. Our server took 20+ minutes to even come greet us and that was after we went to the bar to ask about it. Throughout the night she seemed very flustered and annoyed with us. My family are weekly regulars up at this Applebee's. This restuarant has some of the kindest, hardworking and personable bartenders, management and staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Angie, Mel and Elissa always go the extra mile while bartending and making that warm customer connection. The food is always great, never any problems and if there is they'd be happy to replace it or do what they can to make you happy. This is one of the busiest Applebee's there is in the state but your wait times are not bad whatsoever. In the fall, the weekly pick your team football leagues are a lot of fun! Truly, if you want to know why business is always booming here, it is because of the amazing and speedy service, the professional and personable staff and the great food and apps that Applebee's offers! I come here often with friends and family and it's always been a great fun environment, however the last few times I have gotten a server named Amanda. It took me until this last time to finally remember to look at the receipt to find her name because she never is wearing a name tag. But she is terrible and in the wrong line of work!!! Her personality is like trying to make conversation with someone working at the DMV if that puts it in perspective. I have a past serving and I know there are guidelines to follow in customer service especially the food Industry, greet the table within minutes of being sat, ask for drink orders and if they want any recommendations for the menu, put their food in immediately after taking the order, refill drinks throughout the night, when the food arrives make sure everything is correct and good, etc. however clearly Amanda was not taught this. We waited awhile before we were greeted, I asked for a water with lemon, 5 minutes later and no lemon. and then we waited a VERY long time to place an order which we were just getting dessert. My friend asked Amanda's opinion on which was better out of two deserts and Amanda simply shrugged and said "idk" "they're both good I guess" with a blank face. We ordered and got the deserts relatively quick. But then about 45 min to an hour later Amanda FINALLY returned and just slammed the check on the table and walked away. Not once did she ask if she could get us anything else, how it was, never refilled our drinks, or simply said "thank you". Not one of the last 3 times I have had her has she truly deserved a tip, but I continue to tip her because I know how stressful the job can be, SOMETIMES.
