She truly has a southern hospitality and is very caring and supportive about her customers. She clearly keeps her section top notch clean, she made sure that we were enjoying our time and to be honest she made the experience memorable! I highly suggest Yurri as a regular server. She's great with families, kids, large parties and more! Her sections are always clean! She hopes to be a Child Psychologist one day she says and open her own practice. Please a reminder for all... Always TIP YOUR SERVERS!!! Unless they were disrespectful and selfish. They make below minimum wage... to be exact below $3 an hour... do research. Waitress stated the restaurant was busy, but when I walked in she was on the phone at the door. And I was seated in her section, the dirty section. I have the pictures to prove this post. Place needs to be shut down! Went there and the waiter name "Mimi" was our server. We were at the table and waited for like 10 minutes didn't even get our drinks. She finally came and asked for drinks. We didn't get our drinks and waited for another 10 minutes. When she brung the drinks and we said we were ready to order. She sat the drinks down and walked off. She already had an attitude with another table then she started to cuss out my relative calling her the B word. Food was tasty but I did a curbside order online and am extremely disappointed in it. We have a family of four staying in a hotel for the weekend. The drinks we ordered were not delivered. We received an extra fries that we didn't order (of course, not complaining there but being thorough) I ordered extra mexi-ranch for my order then called when I got there to ask them to be sure to make it 2 large ramekins so that I wouldn't need to ask the server to go back in for more in order to save them steps and time, and those were not included in the bag. Also, we had 2 cheeseburger meals and received zero condiments. Triple check your order before you pull out of the parking lot if you do an online order. Overall , food was good and satisfying. I was hesitant to come to this place due to all the bad reviews, but I was willing to take a risk . The place was kinda empty , and we still had a long wait time for our food , roughly 35 minutes . When the food came out , it wasn't exactly fresh however . Some of the appetizers are also very over priced , they cost almost the same as some of the main entrees . My experience here was good , I think this place gets a very bad wrap , the food is good and leaves you very satisfied and full , and the customer service isn't the worst . This place is obviously short staffed, which is why their customer service and speed isn't the best . CLASSIC CHEESEBURGER W/FRIES : My burger was warm and my fries weren't necessarily hot and crunchy , they were a little soggy and cold . A great evening experience! My Curbside waitress was Jasmine, very professional, polite, dressed appropriately, very knowledgeable of what Applebee's Menu. I wanted Steak and Shrimp.....Jasmine cmgave me a suggestion on what's on the Menu that went with my taste. I purchased 2 plates...Steak, Grilled Shrimp, 2 Breadsticks, Broccoli/Cheese Casserole, Irish Potatoes. The complete was pretty, delicious, still warm. absolute trash. not busy at all but waitress took forever to even get the drinks, which she got the order wrong as well (party of 4). We love Applebees and it's often our go to when we travel but I would avoid this site if you can. We sat at the bar to keep things simple but the bar tender acted like we were keeping her from something even though we were the only ones at the bar and only 2 of the 10 people in the whole place. Lots of standing around and/or disappearing of staff. When food finally came the plate was hotter then the food and the nasty drink which I paid $9 for was still nasty the second time around. Applebee's was great. It was a late night meal. A group of us had traveled from Atlanta to Columbus GA for a fashion show. On the road back we were starving and we looked up the nearest eatery and Applebee's was right there. So we got the appetizer specials - 1/2 off from 9p to close (which is midnight) and we also tasted/tried their 3-course meal deal. We sat at our table for 20 minutes while our server Jordan L. was running back and forth between the tables that sat around us. He didn't greet us nor even ask for our drinks. Hostess was very professional, our waiter and service was the downfall. We were passed by for about 20 minutes while he tended to the two other tables in his section. He got all of our order in one go, and the appetizer came out before the drinks did. My coworker had a strawberry lemonade and it sat at the bar melting because no one was around to add strawberry to it, and our waiter couldn't go behind the bar. We ordered a delivery for our supper last night. The food was terrible. My salad was mostly damaged lettuce and I had requested blue cheese dressing and didn't get it. My husband ordered the fish and chips and I asked that onion rings be substituted for the Cole slaw and we got neither. I asked for ketchup and utensils and neither were sent. This is the worst Applebee's in the Columbus Ga area. I have been placing orders on the website for about 6 months now and out of 6 orders 5 times they have forgotten something off my order. I called a month ago and complained about the issue and supposedly they emailed me a gift card. I never received it. So I placed an order on 9-24-21 and it's the same thing spoke with a manager she advised that I could come into the store because that would be the fastest way to get the gift card. There have been two occasions at this restaurant that rowdy consumers using profanity freely and loudly have interrupted my family's outing. And speaking to management did nothing. My husband and I were not very happy with the service from the restaurant tonight. My sister use to work for the restaurant up in MD before she was murdered. The last time we had seen her was at work, at the restaurant, on my youngest daughter's birthday. Since then we typically return every year on one of our birthdays in the family to a location some where near where ever we are at that moment. This year we went to the Columbus location near the mall and college. It's my autistic daughter's 16th birthday. We told them we were there to help celebrate her birthday. Her birthday was on Wednesday but naturally being on a school day we couldnt do anything until the weekend. Staff at times when they knew my service dog was under the table would say hi to her in passing. They forgot about my husband's side for his food. He had to ask our waitress for his side that she didn't even notice that the kitchen forgot. Things just really weren't how they use to be for us to keep our happy memories alive like we try to yearly. Then at the end the staffing didn't do the typical singing of happy birthday. That right there is what finished off our night to not return. It completely tainted our good memories we kept alive and really ruined that mood for all of us to feel like she was still with us for that special moment. The one thing we held to every year. We took our daughter across the street for some ice cream. A lady over there was having a rough night so we bought her a small surprise gift to cheer her up, even though we didn't know her. When I go to a chain restaurant, I don't expect a five-star meal and white-glove service. What I do expect: decent food, solid service, clean plates, no surprises, and if something goes wrong, employees that will make it right. The only good thing I can say about my family's experience at Applebee's tonight is that the food wasn't terrible - but my dad could barely enjoy his because of the treatment we received from our server, Jason. Our first issue was minor compared to later problems - we didn't receive plates and silverware until we were almost done with our appetizer, and then the plates were *dirty.* We would've asked for replacements, but we didn't see our server again until we were done with the appetizer. After a very long wait, my sons received their burgers and fries. Our waiter said nothing about our other two entrees; we assumed they were coming out right away. Nearly ten minutes later, my entree arrived and the waiter said my father's would be coming. A few minutes later, the waiter came by with a glass of water for my son. I asked him where my father's dinner was, and Jason immediately became defensive and began making excuses. He said he only had two hands and couldn't carry multiple plates (which didn't explain why he couldn't bring the plate while carrying a single glass of water). He said that people who worked there didn't help each other out. He showed us his arms (seriously!) and said he's a big guy with big arms and can't carry a lot of plates at once. I didn't want him to carry a lot of plates. I just wanted my dad to be able to eat with the rest of us. After his long explanation, I honestly expected him to go straight to the kitchen and get my dad's dinner. Instead, he went and took another family's order. A few minutes later, he came back with my dad's meal. One of my sons was already done eating at this point. My dad told the server, "I came here to enjoy a meal *with* my family." The server apologized and then began making excuses again, then told my dad, "Cut me some slack." What? When something goes wrong, apologize and try to make up for it. Don't make excuses, and don't tell the customer to cut you some slack. We had expected a manager would come by our table at some point, to ask us how our meal was - this is typical at every Applebee's we've been to (including this one), but no manager ever appeared, and there didn't appear to be one on the premises.
