The tables are kind of rustic and the decor is French and American but not in the sticky pastel sort of way. It was nice that there were no gimmicks... they didn't need them. We ordered a small mocha, latte, 2 pain au chocolates, and a ham&cheese croissant. The coffee is brewed perfectly and it's incredibly fresh. It left a clean mouth feel that was a dramatic departure from big box coffee. The food is made in-house. The bread is crisp and flakey on the outside and chewy inside. The flavors were very pronounced. It was amazing! The only holdbacks were that some in our group didn't try food and so could not give a full 5 stars. Super plus that the person behind the counter was in fact, European. I cannot recommend this place enough. "Let's eat cake!"

They were fresh and tasty-my favorite was probably the Snickerdoodle, although the sugar cookie with a lemon hint was also a hit!
