This store is very efficient and service is great these days. Great improvement from couple years back Lots of representatives helping out. I scheduled appoint online for Mac book screen repair. Someone west with me within 5-7 min. Applied my Apple care. Repairs went from 600$ value to 99$. Into quickly filled out. In and out of the store within 15 min. It's on the second floor. Right next to Sephora. Make sure you remember where you parked. Lol. And lastly. Computer was fixed super fast. Pick up was finished within 7 min Definitely great store to deal with. Apple did nothing and told me to call the police, the store refused to give the police the video. Baltimore County police told me they have subpoena the store to get the video. Went into the store to buy a new Apple watch and the staff couldn't have been less helpful. The sales staff seem to think their job is to stand around and shoot the bull with each other, rather than assisting customers. I made an appointment with Apple and waiting over 30 minutes to be seen. Once I was seen I addressed an issue I had with a product I purchased less then 3 months prior and they did absolutely nothing the issue. Didn't replace or repair the product. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Customer service is a joke. I tried picking up some orders but the lady at the order pick up table was very rude. I had some questions about some issues with one of my orders. She was very rude and acted like she didn't want to help me at all. She rushed me and aggressively asked for my QR code. Later proceeded to ask me to move to another table as I'm still asking for help. I have never had a good visit at this store. The employees are so rude and act like they don't want to help you. They don't know how to value a customer anymore. I had to cancel one of the orders just to avoid the store all together. Also tried asking for the manager and told me that was not possible. The battery health in my iPhone had fallen to just below 80%, which is the point where they recommend a new battery, so I made an appointment to have that done. After running the diagnostic program, the technician told me that yes indeed my battery had "failed," even showing me the results of the diagnostic with a big red "fail" score, which I found a tad bit melodramatic for 79-point-something battery health, but whatever. I said, sure let's do it, and he said, OK, you can come back and get your phone in 4 hours. I'm like, umm, what? Seriously, I'm an hour from home and can't spend 4 hours here. He shrugged and said I could come back within the next 6 days, recommend early in the morning. So the next day I was there waiting in line when the doors opened, and after checking in was told I had only a 2 1/2 hour wait. Sigh, OK, sure, let's do this thing. 2 1/2 hours later I got my phone back with about a 20% charge on the new battery (c'mon, really?), and a smashed screen protector. Are you kidding me? I managed to use the phone for 3 years with no damage to the screen protector and those geniuses managed to smash it in less than 3 hours? Unfortunately, says the genius, we aren't responsible for your accessories and anyway we don't sell this model anymore so we can't replace the screen protector. Why is that nonsense always the first thing out of their mouths? A few more back and forths with her and I finally got to talk to a supervisor genius who rummaged around in the back and found a leftover legacy screen protector and offered to put it on for me. Which she did, and thankfully without incident. But good grief, could they have possibly made this process more painful? read more

Finally had an opportunity to visit this store, but for my mother to see the genius bar to check the hardware portion of her iPhone based on problems she has been having. Our tech was great and had numerous suggestions if the hardware and audio tests came back normal and fine as they did. He and I could talk shop as I'm in IT as well and I had a good sense for what to try next and his recommendations. Felt like he explained things in terms my non-technical mother understood and explained well. Though we waited in two separate lines with an appointment was overkill. At the Apple Store in Reston, Virginia, if you have an appointment they check you in outside and do a health screening, then you go inside and wait for a tech to work with you. Here, you wait in a line whether you are a walk-in or have an appointment, then they do the health screen separately, then you wait in another line that snakes around the store until another person with an iPad walks you to another table to wait for your tech to appear. Way to many lines and things to get to your tech. Arrived on time for our appointment, but it took about 30 minutes before our wonderful tech started working with us. read more

If you call the number for the store, you will definitely NOT be connected with the store. You will be routed to Apple Support who will keep you on the phone for an extended length of time but the need to call the store to find out about your original question. If you don't live near an apple store, you are going to have to chase them for days on end to get answers. Customer service is not the word. Maybe "gatekeepers" would be better since they cant seem to answer any questions unless they call the store. Worse than trying to cancel your cable TV. read more

I will drive to further away stores if I need anything from Apple that I cant get third party or at bestbuy. The staff treated me like my money was worthless to them. They were to busy chatting with each other than breaking away to help us lowly customers. I needed a simple case and didnt have an appointment. Then I find out you just pull a wooden drawer out of the wall serve yourself and find someone to pay basicly. Dont ask a question because you should already know how the store works and they are to busy. I bet they get a "Living Wage" that has made my prices inflate lately. So ecstatic that the Towson Apple store is reopened. You definitely should make an appointment to make the check in process easier. I was impressed from beginning to end. A temperature check was taken. There were floor marking to control the flow of traffic, while distancing. Each table has sanitizer on it. There's a guard and all of the employee had on masks. Jason was the person assisting me. We laughed so much that it felt like I was only there 20 minutes although it was almost 2 hrs Needless to say, I was impressed with strategic layout of the store as well as the work ethic of the employees. I get mixed results here for service. Sometimes it's a 5 star, other times a 1. At times it's efficient and effective, other times promised work is not done, or done ineffectively. For example, they did a data transfer from my old Mac to a new one efficiently, but did not wipe the old one and install an updated OS on it as promised. Had to make a return visit for pick it up. Was told my old Mac could get the Ventura OS on it - turned out it could only handle Monterey. Staff were generally nice (one patiently helped me synced iPhone and computer contacts and explain why they were mismatched), but occasionally (seemed to be with younger, less experienced employees) were impatient and/or condescending. read more

I went in to purchase an iPhone, the rep started by asking me which apple care product I wanted. When I refused, he kept pushing. When I curtly interrupted him and asked him to move on with the purchase (because at that point I had already been waiting 30 minutes), he was not happy. He ended up refusing to sell me the telephone because my husband was physically present there to approve my already existing line on our Verizon family account. I will always love how you can make an appt and not spend any time waiting. I loathe malls and the confusion but by having this amazing feature you never have to spend time waiting and feeling like you're wasting your day in a mall. Quanza and Derrick were wonderful to work with. They were both very kind, greeting me with a smile and warm hello, efficient and super knowledgeable. I loved the fact that Quanza worked continuously and had a very interesting conversation with me while repairing my phones and running tests and communicating with his repair guys. Made the lengthy time pass so quickly. Exceptional customer service and was so thorough and informative. Derrick was so full of energy, kind and quick to get my phone pick up that I left the store feeling happy even when I usually leave an Apple store feeling exhausted and drained from the time spent there. Went to get my daughter a MacBook Air for graduation, she'll need it for college. Had to sign in for a shopping appointment....20 minutes wait. After 20-25 minutes, the woman that mer me when I came in, told me she was signing me in for my appointment and I should wait by the MacBooks. 10 minutes later no one had been by to help me so I left. Oh yeah, there were 3 employees standing around scheduling shopping appointments when people came in and maybe just a couple more than that waiting on customers. Do they really need 3 people to do that job while the customers stand around and wait. Rediculous model. Left and went to Best Buy. In and done in 5 minutes. read more

My experience here was a huge turn off to Apple products because of the poor customer service. First of all, when you walk in, you are ignored. I walked slowly around the entire store trying to get the attention of Apple workers who all have headsets and are too busy to help you randomly. I finally snagged a worker who told me to stand in a line toward the front of the store. OK....there are no signs and no indication of how you are to request and achieve service here. When someone finally took my name and inquired as to what I was there for-- to purchase an iPod, super easy request-- I was told to linger by a Geek Bar and pointed into a very fuzzy direction. I was ignored at the Geek Bar for a solid 15 minutes. When I finally asked a nearby worker how long it would take to get service he rather begrudgingly took my order. It took another 5-10 minutes to get and pay for my iPod. Apple may create some fine products but if you can't create a fine user experience in your store I begin to doubt the whole Apple brand. So disappointing. This place is totally packed and chaotic on the weekends. I will never come here again because the customer service is so entirely lacking. My next computer will be a PC. Took a laptop in with an appointment on a Saturday and we have Apple Care. The person at the Genius Bar said it had to be repaired and would be back by Tuesday. The next day I got an email that said it had been shipped out. Then I got an email saying it arrived. On Tuesday. So it clearly wasn't going to back same day. Three days later the site updated to say it was repaired. Seven days later no update in status. I contacted support and they said to contact the store. If you call the store you get routed back to support. I cannot find any information and it's now been 2 weeks without a laptop that my daughter needs for virtual school. Ridiculous. read more

Two visits and about six hours total to have my iPhone battery replaced. On my first visit (which I made an appointment for) I was told, after waiting 30 minutes, that batteries were out of stock and that they needed my signature to order a battery. Um, okay. Sure. I was told it takes about 5-7 days to get in new batteries and I will receive a call once they get them in. 10 days pass. No call. I took the initiative to call them myself and was told to come back in that day so they can have me in and out. Apple's definition for in and out is 3 hours. I was surprised by this time estimate as I was previously told the process takes 1-1.5 hours. So I hand over my phone. It's either a three hour wait or have my phone continue to die once it hits 50%. Two stars because despite all of this, I still love my Apple products. And I can go an entire day without having to recharge my phone. read more

Recently purchased an iPhone XR Apple Clear and the sales rep that helped me put the case on my phone but never gave me packaging. Tried to return the case a couple of days due to not likening the feel, and since I don't have the Case packaging, they would not even try to help me return it or exchange it even with my receipt on my Apple account. So the one thing I learned about going to the apple store is that you have to be patient. If you go and think that your are going to get out fast than you thought wrong. So I love Apple products for the fact that they do have a store. What other computer or phone have a Live store with several locations? Can you go to the Samsung, Dell or Toshiba store? Nope. So just be thankful that you can get helped without calling a 800 phone number and speaking to someone after being on hold for hours. I go the Towson location or the Columbia location. The Customer Service is always OK. I get what I want. If I go and want to be serviced that day.. I get it. One time I was told they were booked up for appointment.. I asked to speak to a manager and they fit me right in. There have been times where my warranty ended but they would bend the rules for me a little bit. Since I get what I want when I go to the Apple store I will continue to be a fan. read more

This store is probably one of my favorite Apple Stores to hit up, and seeing as it's inside a mall with a crazy parking situation shows that it must have good service. I've never had any issues with the staff or checkout process at this location. I've also had camera and glass issues fixed here in a few hours as well. It's an Apple Store so don't expect to walk in and get everything you want done right away but on launches and repairs I've never really had anything go sour for me. I would definitely recommend if you live around the area and while the parking garage at Towson Town Center is kind of hell, the time you save getting in and out of an efficiently run Apple Store is probably worth the parking headache. read more

The Apple Store is a busy place. There is much to see and do on the technology that they have on display. I happened to visit the store for 3 days last week for Apple camp. Each summer session was about 2 hours and catered to kids aged 6 or 7 up to 12. As my son learned a bit about coding, I people-watched, and used my own Dell laptop on Apple's free wifi since I was not allowed to leave the store during the camp. I listened as an Apple rep explained to a customer, for about an hour, that they would not be able to give him a discount on a new phone because he dropped his old phone in water. They offered him a solution that he was not willing to accept. Kudos to the three reps who interacted with the customer in a professional manner. I watched mature Apple users receive help with their new devices from other patient Apple reps. I observed young people play music loudly on the speakers and couples tinker with iPads and Macbooks. This is a place where one could spend hours and possibly get some work done on one of the several devices available. I ended up buying a iPad Pro after a few hours in the store. I may take advantage of some help from the genius bar one day. I hope to experience the same patience as I observed. read more
