I could not pair my new phone with my new Oura 4 ring although I tried for 2 days. went into Apple Store Solomon Pond Mall very frustrated. one of the Tech team guys tried many things going through my phone, then saw that I had put strict Parental Controls on myself which forbade Bluetooth from connecting with anything new. Terrible customer experience with warranty work. Would recommend going though Best Buy or another Apple Store. Perhaps even ship it somewhere. Was told nothing was wrong with my warranty Mac. Sad thing is what I was told they tested did not reflect what I brought it in for. When I challenged what they stated and what I told them I actually brought it in for I got attitude and then was told that was what they actually did the work I stated not the work they briefed me on. I went in to buy an Apple Watch. I was told that I had to buy a watch band. I said 'I've never heard of a watch being sold without a watch band' I was assured that Apple Watches did not come with a watch band so I paid an additional $70 and bought one. When I returned to Florida, I called apple and was told that the watches did come with one band. I looked at the box and saw the that watch band had been removed from the box. THE WATCH BAND HAD BEEN STOLED IN THE STORE AND I WAS LIED TO BY THE EMPLOYEE. I wrote to Apple corporate. Something very bad is going on at this store. Are they selling the bands on eBay? I brought my 2019 MacBook Pro to the store because of battery problems, and ended up buying a new MacBook Air. Fine so far - the store will migrate my data from my old computer to my new one, and they will call or text me when done, though they don't know how long the migration will take. Four hours later - and no call or text - I try to call the store; that can't be done, but I can talk to a central Apple Advisor. But after two phone transfers. and a few minutes of on-hold music, the music stops. Eventually I hang up. On chat, a central support person for Apple confirms that my computer is ready to be picked up. So, a 20 minute drive to the store. After a five minutes or so, a staffer brings my computer out - along with devices for two other customers. All that is needed is to hand me my new computer - it's paid for. But no, the other customers - whose situations are complex and need discussion - are first to be helped. A few minutes later, another staffer notices me waiting, and does hand me my computer. So, a drive back home - which is a mistake, since the password I specified for log in doesn't work. (Pro tip: check at the store before leaving.) Back to chat via phone. The first chat session fails (I follow a provided link to a support page, and can't get back). The second chat, I get someone who walks me through resetting my log in password, and I'm done. (And, later, I find that the store **emailed** me that my computer could be picked up. read more

After a bad experience with a local computer repair facility I took my Thunderbolt Display monitor to the Apple Store in the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough, MA. The monitor simply would go on. My mighty Mac Mini was working, it was the monitor. Upon arriving at the vacant mall I found the Apple Store was was told I needed an appointment. Luckily it was only a 1/2 hour wait. The technician said it's more the likely the cables and if that doesn't work I don't pay the $140 for'm. The tech said, "... if it's not the cables you should go to BestBuy and get a monitor for a fraction of the cost of a new Mac monitor." It was the cables and it's working like new. I went in for a battery replacement in an iPhone six. Made an appointment at the Genius Bar, was greeted very warmly by Nicole, one of the managers. Within a couple of minutes she had me set up with one of her technicians who whisked my phone away and told me it would be about two hours. Super nice people, went shopping for a couple of hours... Came back to a fresh battery for only $29! Chatted with Nicole a bit and told her what great service I received. I will definitely return to this Apple store, the service was stellar. read more

I have been at the Apple Store in Dedham, Ma . I had an appointment at 10:20 AM I was there at 10:00 AM . I approached the representative with my appointment details and she told me I had to wait 10 minutes for my appointment. Their there only 2 people in line with me to get into the store before 10:00 AM. I noticed as I was waiting that people buying products where being helped more than people with appointments for the Genius Bar. I would say that 85% of the apple employees were sales only. I waited a hour for service. I had to complain before I got any service. The service tech has to look up on his i pad for direction on how to proceed with the diagnostic check. This information is available on any you tube channel. Not a genius bar at all!!! Look the service tech tried his best but could not resolve any of my concerns. Realize that when you go to an apple store you are not going to get great service at the genius bar its marketing device appointment times do not matter!!!! 100% of the time they are interested only in paying customers who come in the store. I get better service from B & H photo in NYC by phone than I've gotten from any apple store employee. I have been using apple products since 1986. read more

made appt on line for 1pm today at this store. i have been here 1 hr waiting on my 1pm appt. i arrived 20 min early and the woman employee told us we were to early and had us go away until 1. when we came back at 5 min of 1 we were put into a line for genius spt. why was i not put it in when i first arrived? i am thinking she didnt like the way i looked in my tank top with my military tattoos showing. i stood out there in a line until 137pm. now i have been sitting in store and still no spt for replacing the iphone 12 which is cracked and broken. if you want to purchase items they have plenty of employees to spt the sales. they just dont have the employees needed to fulfill the genius spt side of this apple store. i would recommend you go somewhere else if you need spt if you do not want to wait this long. or go to samsung. this is not a good way to treat customers who have been purchasing apple items since 2006z read more

Found the $29 deal, booked the appointment a few days in advance but the experience of waiting for the phone for a start to finish 2 hours and 40 minutes could've been better (in my opinion). The employees every where were working diligently at their jobs... the problem seems to be there are so many Apple customers that need assistance with too few of technicians. One star for taking my temperature outside the store. Went in 7/19 to replace iPhone lost on Friday. Greeter told me that they could not set up a new phone and I would have to take instructions home with me. I should have known this was a precursor to an unbelievably bad experience. Sales Rep had an attitude as soon as we were introduced. Did not know how to retrieve info from apple cloud and was rude to me and my wife, when we asked questions. I believe in social distancing during the pandemic and while talking to Rep #1 another Rep with customers almost backed into me and was very close. I asked politely for her to please move away and my Rep admonished me for speaking up. this past saturday (december 28th) i came in with my wife. she purchased a new iwatch. the front end of the sale was fine. the back end was abysmal. despite my wife's multiple requests for help in getting her watch up and running from the woman who brought her the watch, she was dumped at a table with several other post sale clients and left to sort out making her new purchase operational, unassisted. i'm sure that i don't need to remind you that the backend of any sale is how customer loyalty is built and maintained. about 20 minutes in, a blonde apple store employee, with the demeanor of a bible camp counselor, parked an elderly couple at the table and asked me to move over. when i remarked, "this is like a concentration camp." blondie suggested i leave if i was unhappy. the two hours wasted at this store are a non renewable resource that i can ill afford to squander on such spectacularly poor service. there are too many apple stores in close proximity for me to reward this one with my hard earned money and business. read more

When you go here and they block you at the door, then proceed to tell you that it's going to be at least 45 minutes to get in to look around, it's a bit ridiculous and sets the tone for the visit. Especially when there are literally four people in the store! They have the same number of people blocking the door as they have inside shopping. I walked in here yesterday to get my iPhone 6 looked at, since the charging port had stopped working on any lightning cable I hooked up to it. They took my name and set me up an appointment. Within 2 minutes, a gentleman came over and said he would clean out the port and come back to me. I was afraid it would be time to upgrade my phone, even though it was just 17 months old (well, I guess that is old in phone age!). Well, he cleaned it out, and now it charges more often than more. I was there for help over the weekend, had a reservation. I was being multi-tasked x3. A lot of sitting around waiting. If they are going to make appointments, they should dedicate someone to help you, not multitask you with 2-3 other customers. 45 minutes for them to tell me exactly what I knew when I came in, it had to be shipped out to be fixed. Update: Web site says: On hold - Need information contact Apple Care I called Apple Care, after 25 minutes, they transferred me to the store that had shipped them the laptop. I went in this morning to pick it up, we pressed the power button, and it did the exact thing it was in for originally -- twirly wheel of death. It was not fixed. For years and years now, the Apple store has been one of the places that I have received the most personalized service with and the most help ever. Even though I like having all of the knowledge I need to use technology, there are those times when something doesn't work correctly or you'll need the Apple Store. It's just sort of unassumingly a place you'll end up visiting at least a few times if you have bought a Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod or other Apple product. For anything from a malfunction, a question, or need for any of your devices the Apple store is around to help (or if you are looking to buy a new Apple product). This store is rather new and located in the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough, on the first floor. It hasn't been here for too long, and for the record, is the least busy Apple store known to Earth! It's modern, new, and a good size for a regular store. Good selection of products and tons and tons of displays of all the new Apple products out to enhance the style of the store and make people even more anxious about buying new products. I, for one, have always enjoyed Apple's products in total, and have had barley any conflictions with things that I have bought from them. However, when there is an issue that I cannot figure out (and I can almost figure out anything), I make an appointment with the Genius Bar and scoot to the closest store. I live sort of far away from this mall, so I don't come to this one all that frequently, however, they have the most openings, so I did in fact drive all the way to Marlborough to visit this store (I was going to be in the area anyway..... but it was still a few minutes off the beaten path!). Staff are friendly, and better yet, consistently on schedule for Genius Bar meetings. Parking is easy to find and getting in and out of the mall is never an issue. read more

Apple Corporate's ideas for great customer service, well its terrible. they have it to where people have to make appointments to get something fixed. It did not mention that anywhere on the website or anywhere. And I asked if I could pay and just leave my phone their and come back in a week or so, that said no I have to come in an hour and a half so they could see if they had any room or time to fix my phone I was like ok i said i could wait a week and they did not care. wasted my time. Went to Apple store, was told battery from the iPad has expanded reason it no longer stays charged...was told that Apple store no longer has the logistic iPad Air 2 keyboard but Best Buy has...Went to Best Buy store and bought the air pad 2 keyboard. The connection cord, way......too short!!, ...keyboard still does not work.. Will have to return....will not spend another $400. This apple store is great. I came in because my iPhone froze during an update and was unresponsive. The guy that checked me in was able to squeeze me in within 15 minutes even though the next appointment for a repair wasn't for 2-3 hours. The woman that helped me was super knowledgeable, was able to fix my phone, and didn't charge me anything. I was also never pressured to buy a new phone even though mine is old. I'll definitely come back here to set up my next iPhone. read more

I want to start by saying I love Apple products. I just need to comment on the way the customer is treated at the Solomon Pond Store. After our research, we decided to buy (2) MacBook Air laptops. We're SO busy at work and I found myself in the area of the Mall so I ran in the pouring rain to hop in the Apple Store. As I neared the entrance of the store, I noticed several men and women wearing black shirts (emblems of some type on the top right breast pocket and the word SECURITY stamped on the back) and black pants, they were standing legs apart, arms folded, looking straight ahead. I truly thought there was some kind of emergency in the store (like an active shooter or something). So as I walked toward the store, a "security" person stepped out of the line and moved her body right in front of me so I couldn't move forward. Then she asked what my business was here. I was totally taken aback. I said "I want to buy something." And she told me she could make an appt for me, 1.5 later! I didn't know what to say so I went with it. When I came back (right on time, because I was scared of them and didn't want to be late), they TOOK MY TEMPERATURE, and then they made ME wait more! It was so intrusive. At the end of the day, I spent over $2K, was there for 5 minutes and lost that 1.5 in my workday. I have to say the policy is weird and creepy. And I really wish they'd cut it out. I was told it's because COVID but frankly, no other store ANYWHERE does this. Not even Walmart (who, by the way, gets more visitors than the Apple store). Great product, BAD customer experience!
