Piece of metal sticking out of the phone after battery replacement. None of the employees even noticed before returning it to me.

I dropped off my iPhone X for a battery replacement and when I got it back there was a big piece of metal sticking out of the top. It's not a good sign of the quality of this Apple store when neither the person performing the battery replacement nor the person who brought out the phone noticed this problem. They ended up swapping the phone they damaged with a refurbished one, which is not great since I don't know how the previous owner treated the phone (mine was pristine and had never been dropped). The most annoying part is none of the handful of Apple employees I dealt with during this ordeal apologized for wasting my time. I had to spend nearly three hours at the store and some more time at home restoring the software and settings onto the refurbished replacement.

Not sure why it is so difficult to get a Genius bar appointment. I suppose we all know why - Apple wants everyone to call over the phone to their call center so they don't need to hire support people for their stores. Store opens at 10 am. Arrived at 9:40 am and there was already a line of 10 people waiting. The only reason they have two stars is because there was actually an Apple store representative with an iPad taking names of people in line. Then the process was slow and painful. You can see employees standing around chit chatting with one another while customers are waiting. We are not talking technical chit chat. Personal chit chat such as "where did you go out last night" type questions. I guess it is okay to keep people waiting in line for hours - it might generate false demand for their products and services.

I pkaced my order at 3:24 PM and it was ready to be picked up my 3:34 PM! I headed over and when I arrived, I checked in on the app and it was updated with a button to indicate that I'm in line. We shopped for some phone accessories but didn't find anything we wanted. So we made our way to the pickup line. We were greeted immediately and I mentioned that I was picking up an order. The cashier scanned my phone and quickly pulled my order. I checked it and it was exactly what I ordered. The cashier said thanks for the order and we were on our way out. Overall, the service was the winner here. Staff was friendly and the item I purchased was $100 off where every other store I checked online had it for regular price. I highly recommend buying from this location as the staff is quick to gather your online order and they are very nice at this store.

I was initially directed to the Apple area. Two employees were working there with other customers - no problem. They disappeared after a bit, seemingly with those customers. About ten minutes of waiting later, hoping someone would be ready, I found both employees at the Microsoft area. No one had been available in the Apple area for that long - it seems understaffed. Someone in sales worked with me and was largely informative. The process wasn't inefficient; buying a new piece of technology takes time. Even so, it got a bit frustrating when two errors came up. First, upon transferring me over to the Geek Squad section, so I could have them transfer the data and assess the resale value, the first error came through: The transfer was said to be $40, but the woman at GS told him me was mistaken, and that it's $40 to transfer data between phones but $90 for computers to do so. I will give them credit for the high resale value of my old computer - Apple's online estimator gave me a paltry $35, whereas Best Buy assessed it to about $150. Still, the process of figuring out whether or not I could apply that directly to the bill, had to do a store credit, etc., was something the employees had to ask multiple other people about. It is OK to do that, of course, but it felt inefficient to this degree. As the GS employee looked through my computer, she mentioned that they'd have the new computer ready (with the data transfer) within 24-48 hours. I was very surprised! I politely mentioned that no one had told me that it would be an "overnight" thing - taking some time was anticipated, but overnight or even 2 days?! She was surprised I hadn't been told yet. Sales very much should've mentioned this, and there should be more coordination between teams. I wound up leaving it overnight, especially since my old computer already got the resale value assessed and needed to be there. It was ready pretty early the next day, which is good, but this was overall frustrating. Not as important, but they love to have 2-3 loud songs all playing at the same time. It is one thing to have different songs in different areas of a large store, but this was all quite close together, in terms of where the sound was coming from, and it was jarring and annoying. EDIT: I forgot to add...they have roving salespeople from AT&T who make eye contact with you while you're waiting around and then take advantage of your kindness. I find this process frustrating, similar to people with clipboards trying to get you to sign something. It is intrusive and tacky. I don't know why they allow this.

Three years ago, I had the chance to visit this Xfinity store to pick up equipment, only to find…read morethey gave me the wrong equipment when I tried to hook it up. This meant I had to return to the store to get the right stuff. I had the exact same experience this time, three years later. The cable box at my mother's apartment was fried. I took it to the store and asked for a replacement. They gave me a box which I took back to her place but couldn't get to work. After a call to Xfinity customer service, I was told they gave me a box that was a slave to a main box, yet she only has the one TV so doesn't have a main box. I was told to go back to the store to let them know we needed a cable only box. I went back to the store and told them what the service rep told me to say. The store clerk said what I had was a main box. I explained it was not and told them what I needed. This time, they gave me the right cable box. It seems to me that the reps at the store don't know their equipment or, in both occasions, I would not have had to return to let them know that gave me the wrong equiment. This can't be a fluke and other customers must have similar problems. I'd suggest that the store management consider retraining their existing employees, while ensuring new employees are well versed on their equipment. Since I rated them two stars last time and had the same experience again, this wasn't a fluke. So, this time around I have to say this was a one star experience.

When she did, she basically told me there was nothing she could do for me unless I was willing to give up my land line. Additionally, she did not advise me my bill was going up $50. the next month for the same service. She finally did advise me to call "rentention" which did without even leaving the parking lot. Spent an hour on phone with a very helpful person and I will be talking to her again tomorrow to make the proper adjustments to the account. As the former owner of a retail business, the staff in that store should either be trained to handle customers as if they mattered to the company or sent elsewhere. I would never, ever step into that store again, nor should anyone else unless you enjoy rude, indifferent service. They need to add a star rating of minus 5 for this review to truly show how bad this staff treats customers
