Horrible experience! I will never go there again. The lady used the drill to take the polish off my toes instead of just nail polish remover. She drilled into my toe nail. Caused it to bleed. I had to ask for alcohol to make sure I didn't get infected. She was in such a hurry she painted my nails and didn't even clean the them up. She had nerve to ask for a tip and I felt obligated but I didn't want to. Also when I got to the car I looked down and one of my toenails were messed up so I went back in and she just painted over the error. I was so disappointed by the whole experience I just left unhappy!!! Don't waste your money! read more

I would come here often since it's right by my home and the price is great, for the past two years, that is until this last week. I've recently had a couple of bad experiences but still gave them the benefit of the doubt but this last time did it for me.The first bad encounter happened when I brought my friend to have some girl time and made an appointment ahead of time. They were so rude to her and I was embarrassed for even recommending this place. The ladies kept talking about her feet, like that's why we are here to up keep and get maintenance on them. The second experience I was paying with Zelle (like I always have) and including tip to my girl who did a great job and is the daughter in law to the older woman with medium length hair. The older woman runs the show when the man is not there because I have noticed a man that usually does nails and works the front desk also. Anyways, as I was paying she is literally standing over my shoulder watching me to see how much I'm going to tip. Like I said I'm a regular and always tip but that was just straight up rude. I told her to please give me space so I can complete my transaction. Keep in mind it wasn't even her tip, it was for her daughter in law! This last time I went in as a walk in and they were busy. However, they told me to wait for 15 minutes, it was about 4:20pm, they close at 7pm. I asked if I could just come back at 5pm for a regular pedicure (not gel, not acrylic, I did not have gel on prior). They said they would be too busy and I should try to come back tomorrow. So you could take me if I waited 15 min but when I try to work with you and allow more time to wait I'm being told to come back tomorrow? Unbelievable. Went in to get a mani pedi. I asked also asked for a simple cute design on my nails. The lady put the wrong colors in my nails then put stickers on my nails. They were not what I wanted. I originally chose lighter color purple on my hands and got a blue purple instead. Then on my toes I picked out a teal and when I looked down it was a dark blue that matched the nails. This was the worse I've ever had hear. If it wasn't for my mom being a long standing client and getting her nails done too I would have refused to pay. Omg! Where to begin, this is the worst place to get your nails done! I have never had such sloppy work done! I came in for a fill and pedicure. I came here because my sister has been coming here for over 5 years and swears by the place. I've been twice and really TRIED to like it...but alas, we've got to break up. It's not me, it's YOU! No really...it's YOU! lol... My first visit I came in for a full set and a pedicure. I got a couple of extra bells and whistles to the tune of $80 (with a $4 tip included). O_o I didn't really trip because I wasn't the one paying for it (THANK YOU BIG PAAAPAAAAAAAA!) *strike ONE* PRICE. I went back 2 weeks later for a fill and to freshen up my toes. This time we skipped the bells and whistles, but I didn't care for the lack of interest by either technician. The woman working on my hands didn't bother to clip back the parts that were lifting and since I'm not NEW to tips, etc., I knew it wouldn't take long for these bad boys to lift and do all sorts of weird things. *strike TWO* POOR ATTENTION TO DETAIL. The day before I had PLANNED on going to get my nails done again, I couldn't STAND the way my hands looked. I ended up taking ALL of the nails OFF while my daughter took a bath. The bad part was that it didn't take long to get them all off - which means they weren't on all that great ANYWAY. This place to me is a complete waste of money. I won't be returning. I've found a much better salon closer to my home. Nice try tho...maybe they only do a good job for people who have been coming for a long time. I was getting a pedicure when the technician was paying more attention to other people when I felt a pinch and I started bleeding. She smiled and said "sorry" but she was too preoccupied with other people and telling other technicians to make sure to charge them for everything. I felt another pinch and saw blood going down my foot I told her " Again??!?!?",she said "sorry"and she smiled again so I told her to take her hands off me. So I asked how much it's going to be? This place is one of the better nail salons I've been to. The ladies are really nice, the place is well kept and clean. If you get a mani-pedi, you'll get to sit in one of the massage chairs with the foot spa. You can get a foot scrub where they use this really good smelling scrub then they massage your feet right before they give you a pedi. It's very relaxing and well worth the treat if you've been on your feet all day. They have a lot of choices on color and design so you'll find something you like. So I've been here a few times . I think only for pedicures . This time I got a pedicure and got my acrylics remove. The wait wasn't too bad considering it was an hour before closing. My main complaint was the fact that while getting my acrylics removed and my nails filed , she didn't really ask me what shape I wanted my nails. Which isn't necessarily her job, but I just like being asked . So I asked her if she could make them more rounded and uh they're still square but I just was over sitting there and didn't want to keep telling her to reshape them. Also didn't get a manicure or anything so shaping them wasn't TOO important. Oh while paying my bill I put a $5 tip and she asked me '5 and 5' and I said no just 5. I've recently been unhappy with the place where I used to get my nails done, so I decided to give Apple Nails a try. I went in this morning (Sunday) without an appointment and they seated me right away. Tina did my acrylic fill with cuticle trim and did an excellent job. In fact, she did such a nice job that I decided to stay and get a pedicure, too. My nails and toes look great! I didn't give Apple Nails 5 stars for a couple of reasons. First, the jets in the pedicure chair weren't working, but all the other chairs were already full at the time. It wasn't a big deal to me, but some people might not like that. Secondly, I would love to see a bigger selection of OPI polishes. They had more than where I used to get my nails done, but it was still a somewhat limited selection given the vast array of colors available in the OPI line. All in all, I had a great experience at Apple Nails. I will definitely be going back! read more

This is my second time here after having a pretty good first experience a few months ago... the only thing is they keep trying to add on services like "gel, dip powder, extra flowers" etc. but I was just in for a coffin style full set and was really happy when the lady saw I wasn't satisfied with the first choice nail color and she was able to repolish the full set with this nice caramel color seen in the picture. The only reason why this place even deserves 1 star is because of Kim. Otherwise, I would have given zero if it were possible. If anyone in their right mind decides to go here, make sure you only go to Kim because she is the only one with integrity. ANYWAYS... I went into the salon purposefully just to remove my gel nails. I figured that since it was such a simple task I did not need to read yelp reviews. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT THIS PLACE LIKES TO SCAM PEOPLE AND CHANGE UP THEIR PRICES DEPENDING ON HOW THEY FEEL. However, they were trying to decide how much to charge me IN VIETNAMESE. Lucky for them, I AM ALSO VIETNAMESE. Two ladies(including the one doing my service) decided that it was acceptable to charge me $10 to remove my gel pedicure and another $10 to remove my gel manicure! THAT WOULD'VE BEEN $20 TO REMOVE MY GEL NAILS, WHICH IS COMPLETELY ABSURD! Thankfully, Kim stepped in and told the ladies that they were unreasonable and how the boss has mentioned that they need to stop overcharging customers on certain services. Overview: All in all a friendly, quick environment. Cleanliness: It is a pretty clean environment albeit a little cluttered. Price: Prices are pretty alright. Not to expensive, not too cheap. The prices aren't posted anywhere in the salon, only online. Parking: I usually find parking but it's not excessive. Staff: Usually very friendly but there is a tiny bit of a language barrier. Recommendation: I have grown to like the Deluxe Spa Pedicure. Great price. Includes Pedicure, 15 minute foot massage, exfoliation, hot towel and more. I really enjoy this and find it relaxing. Other: All of the ladies who helped me where nice but they were all on advertisement mode gall the time. Horrible experience!!! I had my nails done a few hours ago for my trip. The lady who did my nails did a horrible job! While she was removing the old gel she was filing it away with that machine on HIGH speed! I told her she was burning my nails. She pretended not to speak English & said "it's okay" then she proceeded to do dip power on me. There are gaps along side of my nails, there are clumps of powder on the finish look, and when she was filing the powder down she put the machine on high speed AGAIN burning my nails! This is a horrible job my nails feel bruised.. I will NEVER return or recommend anyone here! Especially don't come before an event or trip! read more

Very bad pedicure. I came here because my normal shop was really busy and I needed a pedicure. The woman who did my nails dug so deep on the sides that she gave me ingrown toenails. The nails were uneven. This was 2 weeks ago and my big toe nail became infected where she dug so deep. I went to my normal nail salon today and the nail technician said "oh my gosh who did this...this is really bad. Never go back there" and I had to endure the pain of removing the infected ingrown toenail and she also had to fix my other big toe because she said it was getting ingrown too. Please save yourself and don't go to apple nail! I basically paid $20 to get an infected painful ingrown toenail!! read more

Went in for a gel manicure and pedicure. The lady did my pedi was pleasant and professional. But the older lady who did my manicure was horrible. I ended up with two bleeding fingers. She said sorry for the first cut and poured some nail polish remover on it. Of course it burnt! The second time I warned her it hurts, she continued cutting it and I had THREE bleeding spots on my right index finger. She then blamed it on the lady who did my pedi because she was moving! The quality of her work was not that great either, the length of the nails are not even, and one nail has lint trapped in it. She was done before the lady who did my pedi, then she sat down next to me started playing with her phone. Not a good experience at all! read more

Honestly this place is kinda of a rip off. Their service is average at best. And the cost of going here is just too much for not that great of quality. My cousin and I have been going here for awhile and we just have not been satisfied with our service. The ladies are very to and cold, we will either get a super nice lady or a super mean one. We had the best experience at Apple Nails. I came here with my mother for a mani pedi treat. My nails (dip powder) turned out absolutely beautifully; they were the prettiest nails I've ever had in my life! Kim, my nail artist, did an amazing job. She really took her time and was detail-oriented. I looked over at my mother, and saw that her nails (also dip powder) were progressing poorly. Her nail artist also looked very stressed and was rushing through the entire process. The nail shop was past closing time, and Kim offered to step in and literally restart my mom's entire nail process. She kept saying she wanted us to walk out happy with the end product. As all her other coworkers went home, Kim stayed overtime and completely transformed my mom's nails with a positive attitude and big, beautiful smile. She is confident yet humble, and great at what she does, which is no surprise because she's been doing nails for 22 years! Long story short, we received beyond customer service, but a genuine act of kindness from an artist who cares about her craft and desires to truly create a masterpiece a customer walks out happy with. My last visit, 10/11/2017, was the worst. I even left wo giving a tip bc I was so pissed. I felt I was overcharge and disrespected and when I got home, I realized they burnt my nails. I thought they were putting my nails under UV light too many times. It was like 4 or 5 times for each hand. The lead nail techician gave me attitude when I complained. She charged me extra for long nails and didnt mentioned it. I wish I had taken a picture of those awful nails but I forgot. My new nail technician was surprise how bad of shape they were in. I had to get all my nails cut down and the length of the nail was my real length except for a couple of them. I have been going to this place for a couple of years bc its less than a mile from my house. I rather drive 5 miles or more than return to this place. You have been warned. read more

I made an appointment the day before to get my gels removed and also a manicure. When I arrived in the morning at 9:30am there were only few girls and they seemed surprised that I was there. The girl who did my nails was just terrible. She said her name was Wee or When. The gels where not properly taken off so when she put the nail enamel that I brought it just looked wavy and to cover it up she kept putting coats over it. She didn't file my nails or cut my cuticles properly neither. When I got home I cleaned the nail polish and I can clearly see that I still have some gel left on my right thumb. What was supposed to be $30, ended up being $95 because of all the add-ons that they said "Were included!" The workers there are very rude, deceitful and (not to be racist) but hard to understand. This was my first time trying Apple nails. I came here based on the positive reviews and also because i was in the area and needed to get my nails done! Instead of writing about it i'll do the pros/cons: Pros: -Easy Parking. -Friendly staff. -They all speak english and understand you. Not like some places where they pretend to. -I was helped fast and seated fast. -Nail tech was friendly and we had an awesome convo. -Had a small paper cut on my cuticle from filing. Told her and she was very careful. -The arm and hand massage was great and relaxing!!! -Prices are not bad at all. Cons: -TV was on (i tend to like to relax and zone out after a hard day at work, and its kind of hard with a talk show going) -Nail tech nix me. She was fast to say sorry and put some medicine on it. -Upselling got kind of annoying (want to try the new gel nail polish,hot oil manicure,eyebrow wax ect). Um no thank you!
