I've been a patient of Dr. Megally for 20 years now and I have had nothing but great experiences here twice a year for my regular cleanings. The front end staff members are by far the most amazing and friendly staff I've had and any doctors office. Honestly, cannot say enough good things about the people here! read more

Apple Dental provided a fantastic experience for my full mouth extractions and alveoplasty. From start to finish, the team communicated clearly, explaining every step and making me feel completely comfortable with no judgment. They were also very understanding and worked with me on the pricing for the alveoplasty procedure. I arrived at 8 a.m. and was out by 11:30 a.m., with minimal swelling and no bruising afterward. If you're searching for a dentist who prioritizes patient comfort and professionalism, Apple Dental is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend them read more

The receptionist is rude and snobby when answering any questions. When I physically went it she treats everyone like an inconvenience and when I called today she made me feel dumb for asking about an update on my insurance for a wisdom tooth removal. This is my first time finding a dentist in merced because I'm not from here- just here for college and I can't believe the people here have to deal with such poor professionalism when they seek health care in all aspects of merced. A business starts their impression on the first phone call and this one is starting to be a 1 star dentist office from the first impressions aka the woman at the door. read more

The appointment was at 10:00am lasted 2 1/2 hours for 2 kids. Dr comes in and asked my kids 3 times to open wide their mouth. the 3rd try, the Dr raised her voice so, kids could open their mouth. My 2nd child, she repeated the same treatment! Today 8/8/2023, Staff told me appointment was for 8/22/2023! They forget info was set up or just they Rescheduled! I left without confirming the next appointment, later I get a call to come back into the office 2nd time! Later, I tried to schedule appointment for 4 kids at a time, same day but, their rule is that if I cancel, then Drs office Lose 4 patients at that time! Office tries to have patients Back to Back! read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would I had an appointment at 8 AM and it took me 3 almost 4 hours to get seen and just for them to turn around and send me home. Then a couple days later I got a notice in the mail from the dental office saying I won't be able to come back to this Dentist office that I would have to find a new one!! I WOULD SUGGEST EVERYONE NEVER COMING HERE ESPECIALLY YOUR KIDS!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I literally sat in the chair four hours before anyone acknowledge me!!! read more

I wanted to provide an update as Apple Dental reached out after my teeth extraction experience: The oral surgeon that comes in is the best Dr. Megally has seen for many many years, I trust his opinion. The oral surgeon's goal is efficiency, to get you in and out as quickly as possible and with no complications so, don't expect a warm "hello" or "how are you?" from him. Although I did not have a great experience with him, he got the job done with no complications and in the long run, considering I won't be having anymore extractions, that's all that really matters. I have lots of respect for oral surgeons and what they do, and I realize they don't typically see the same patients more than once or twice so, building a relationship with the patient isn't always high on the priority list; especially with this doctor who only comes in once a month. Thank you Apple Dental for being great for so many years! read more

I love this dental office. The staff has always been incredible. My husband and I both traveled from Turlock and then from Coarsegold when we moved to keep our dentist because they are that good. My husband has had several bad experiences from dentists prior, but loved this dentist. Extremely sterile environment and very caring staff and dentists are great. I recommend this dentists to everyone all the time. I'm surprised I hadn't left a review before. I've had my wisdom teeth extracted, fillings, cleanings and a root canal done. All went well and they were caring when I requested 2 follow up regarding my wisdom teeth. I miss going to Apple Dental. read more

I've never had such a bad experience at a dentist office.I had an appointment to fill 3 cavities, I wasn't informed on which side the cavities were on.I was only informed that the cavities were in between my teeth. Then they numb me up and I still feel the drill so I ask to be numbed again and after that they put the filling all over my teeth and now I am unable to floss because the filling is stuck between my teeth. I was also shaking on the table because of how anxious I was. Please don't go here. On top of everything I need to go to another dental office to get my fillings adjusted. read more

I had a pain in my tooth for a while now and was skeptical in going in after COVID. But they took me in, staff was very friendly and Dentist as well. Got me in and out promply. Very few people were in there, which made me feel confortable with my visit Everything was very nice and clean. They cleaned and sanitized everything. Will be going back again for a crown. read more

I am so glad that l changed dentist. I was not happy with my dentist. My cousins go to Apple and are always ! So l tried Apple out and l loved my first experience which was just a cleaning and x-rays. Now 4 months later my tooth broke. I couldn't get in to Apple as it was closed early on Friday so l went back to my old dentist to fix my tooth. They patched it and it fell out 6 days later. Called Apple and they fit me right in. The dentists and the assistants and office staff are all very very nice. Love coming to Apple dentistry. The best in Merced! read more

I usually don't write reviews if it's not necessary. During my first visit I came in because one of my fillings came off. Dr. Said i needed a root canal and a crown after for my tooth. I then believed him and got my root canal and paid $1,200 for my crown. I had to wait 3 weeks for the the crown and when it finally came in, it was too big. When the dentist put the crown on I realized that it wasn't fitting properly and told him right away. He said that it's probably my month because my mouth is still numb. I then went home and 5 hours later when my month isn't numb anymore and still felt that it does not fit correctly. I called the office and went back into the office and the doctor was irritated that I'm back. He was such it a hurry to get me out. All he did was filed my crown down to make the crown smaller (which caused the crown to not be as durable)!!! I decided to give him another chance. I went back 4-5 months later for just a regular check-up. He told me this time that two of my front tooth needs root canals done (now this is the 2nd and 3rd tooth he said I need root canal) and I'll have to pay $1200 for the crown. The doctor said that if I do not get this taken care of then it'll get Super BAD and it will DEFINITELY spread. I didn't get these tooth taken care of due to financial issues. And guess what!!!! IT WAS ALL LIES! I'm here 2YEARS later writing this and my two tooth are perfectly good. I went to another dentist and they said I don't have any cavities and nothing needs to be done. THAT'S When I know that APPLE DENTAL lies to ppl that they need root canal when they really don't. They just want more money!!! They know that CROWNS are a easy way to make money because they don't have to do anything! And they know ppl do not want the free silver crown that insurance cover so they purposely do this! I strongly believe that I did not need a root canal done at all but he tricked me the first time. I highly do not recommend this place at all!! Just got ripped off by something I did not need done. Now I'm stuck with a crown because I fell for the dentist the first time. NOT A HONEST DOCTOR!!! Avoid going to this place! AND YES OF COURSE HE'LL Reply back to my REVIEW as if their office is great and they don't know me and they really CARE. Why would I bother to call him. Dr. Personally messaged me and wouldn't do anything about it. There's no other way he can solve this other than giving me my money back (and at the end I still lose because I got a root canal done when I didn't need it). I have legit proof that I paid $1200 and Dr. still tries to deny it on Yelp here. read more

I've been coming to Apple Dental since I was old enough to have my teeth cleaned! I've stayed with them and I'm now in my 20's. The staff here is always really kind to me. Dr. Megally is the one I prefer most to work to work on my teeth. He takes his time numbing so you don't experience any pain. He also has a great dental hygienist. She definitely accommodates me while cleaning because my teeth are sensitive. Pricing is also relatively good once my insurance picks up the cost. They are very upfront with all cost. They accept a wide a range of in insurance. I highly recommend to anyone! read more

I had needed a root canal done and went to a different dentist office. The prices were too high for my budget and I was in crucial pain. I called Apple Dental to see if they accepted my insurance, sure enough they did. They saw me immediately are extremely affordable. I got my root canal started the same day. Dr. Megally and his staff are extremely profesional and super friendly. I used to hate going to the dentist , but I absolutely enjoy coming to this place . Highly, highly recommend. read more

Best dentist ever, my son said said Dr. was gentle, girls there are very attentive .. Will definitely make this my kids primary dentist.

I recently gained guardianship of a child on medi-cal. Never have I ever experienced such unprofessionalism. I was never talked to by the dentist. He not once spoke to me about the plan. I was expecting to see xrays like I am shown at my own kids dentist office. I feel like we were taken advantage of because the child is on medi-cal. When I tried to voice my concerns they staff and the dentist were very rude. I would never go back or recommend this place. read more

I gave this place 1 star, but I would've chosen not to rate it all because of the way my grandma and I were treated here. I DO NOT like the receptionists at all, I heard they work on bonuses, when in fact I don't believe they deserve a bonus at all. They're very judgmental and every lady who talked to me had such a rude tone. I will be giving the doctor of this clinic a call. I hope they change out their receptionists or they may lose patients. I do not know the names of the ladies who work here, but I know one of the ladies I talked to (brunette, thin) was, unfortunately, the manager. The rudest one was a blonde girl. This is, by far, the worst dental place in Merced. read more

I have been here a few times now & I wish I could give more than 1 star, but I cannot. My first time going to this dental office was in November for a teeth cleaning. The dentist & receptionists went to lunch and I was left waiting for 30-45 extra minutes in the dental chair. There was nobody else waiting. They had cleared all patients and I was still there. In that situation the one dental assistant that was there felt bad and gave me a Starbucks gift card, but that didn't change the fact that my 5 month old, sister, & I had been waiting for so much longer than we needed to. Good customer service would have been to clean my teeth, talk me through my xrays & send me home not wait until after lunch. Next, I had to wait from November to January to get a wisdom tooth removal because the dentist that does the extraction wouldn't be avilable until then. No problem. He was awesome & I didn't have any issues. Well a week after my extraction I had a bone fragment that was irritating my gums. It got to the point where it had some puss bubbles on the site. My mom & husband could clearly see it with a flashlight. I called doctor Magelly & he said I could walk in the next day at any time no problem. Well Dr. Magelly is not who I saw at first. I saw the female dentist & she was the WORST. She started FILING yes filing down on my tooth without numbing me first. Who does that?? Especially when I have puss growing on the site. I said OUCH and she sarcastically said "want me to numb you". She had already hurt me and made me bleed so I let her finish. Then she shoved gauze in my mouth & I waited for Dr. Magelly to explain why the bone fragmment had occurred. I didn't feel confident after the appointment & did not feel like I recieved proper care so I went to a different dentist for a second opinion. They gave me an X-ray and more thorough exam & Dr. Magelly was right in what he said they just made me feel better about it because they were more focused on me as a patient. I told them about the filing and they said you should never do that to someone without numbing them first. Needless to say I unfortunately won't be returning. I see in past posts that people have mentioned how impolite the receptionists are & I can confirm that problem was never resolved. read more

Compassionate, friendly, gentle, and understanding. Just a few words to describe the wonderful staff at Apple Dental. My children have been going to Apple Dental for about 7 years now so when I needed to pick a dentist for my husband and I, it was really a no brainer. We absolutely love them. I just recently had some major work done and I was terrified (kind of and understatement...more like petrified, I was literally cry in the waiting room) I cannot stress enough how amazingly nice and sensitive they all were towards me. Dr. Megally was so kind, constantly asking and checking if I was doing ok while he worked on me, even the wonderful ladies up front came back to check on me. All in all I highly recommend Apple Dental. read more
