Farmer Stuffed Crepes w/ side of Turkey Bacon
Scott H.

We are on our annual family vacation back to my family's home in Oklahoma. So my wife, our daughter,& I arrived in town last night and it's our tradition to go out to breakfast on the 1st morning we are in town. This year we decided to try out Apple Barrel Cafe. What a great decision!! I chose the Farmer's Stuffed Crepes. Overall, once again it was good decision (but looking everyone else's food, everything looked delicious). My Crepes and eggs were fluffy and cooked to perfection. The veggies were intergrated with theveggs leaving them slightly sauteed or others say al'dente (YUMMY). THE only disappointment is considering we are in Oklahoma I would expect some kind of meat in the crepes. I have to say our service was top notch! Our server Robbie deserves special recognition for her customer service and her honesty about what meals she likes and she nothing bad to say about anything we asked about on the menu. If you get a chance check out Apple Barrel Cafe in Bixby, OK

When we walked in we immediately felt we were in a country cafe. It was a homey cozy atmosphere. The decor was fun with a few Halloween decorations up too. We got seated right away and our waitress was there to order our drinks immediately. She was very friendly and attentive. We were in a group of 4 and did not have to wait long at all for our hot food. My daughter had the burrito and ordered ranch with it. She was impressed with the taste and the waitress informed us it is made "in house". I had the Sunrise Special with scrambled eggs and cheese, crispy bacon and hashbrowns. Of course toast with butter a jelly too. I couldn't help but get an added pancake. The pancake was huge and larger than most. Oh and did I say yummy too?! We all enjoyed the fast friendly service from all and the picturesque atmosphere.

Service was great food is delicious . Sweet tea is also great along with the ranch . Relaxed environment , good music and amazing service .

Should be a half star. Place is horrible. Customer service is terrible. Their fish is frozen. Vandeecamp fillets are better. It's unbelievable. When we said we didn't want the fish the waitress said "I seen it and was like uhh it doesn't look good" with a yuck expression on her face. She was mirroring my expression at her attitude. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

First time eating here after church. The food was good and our service was good too

We eat here quite often for breakfast. The food is reliably good and the wait staff is friendly.

My daughter can stay busy for the entirety of the time, but it is open. She will break for a snack and they have an extensive variety of snacks, beverages, and food items, to satisfy all. They have themes that change out every couple of weeks and new food and drinks to go along with the themes. I always try whatever coffee drink they have and I always enjoy them. It's a fun place for the kids to just be kids. I love that my child can play for hours with no screens and just use her imagination with others.

The place felt PACKED. I was overstimulated. After a handful of people left it was much more manageable. I'd say, if you walk in and there's 15 adults--leave. It's too much given they probably all brought one child. The toys were completely spread out all over the floor so much that the kids could hardly walk without stepping on a toy. It was $10 to play with no hour limitations. You can bring outside food, but eat it outside of the play area. The coffee was DELICIOUS. I would want to go again just for the coffee. 16oz was about $7 and 20oz was $9?? They also have food there but I did not purchase any. There is one bathroom with a wooden door to shut. There was a parent who brought their kids potty and let them pee just sitting there in the middle of the floor?? It was odd. I think there was just so much going on that the workers couldn't take note for what was happening. If it wasn't so busy it could be a lot of fun, but it's not big enough to have that many people and children. Some people were literally standing because there wasn't anywhere to sit. There are about 16 chairs and 7 tables.

The antithesis of my preferred milieus of grungy Mexican restaurants and back road country cafes. Yet, here I am at the counter, with my wife ordering food, that I anticipate will taste like sawdust and fermented alfalfa juice. Why? Due to her upcoming gallbladder surgery, my wife is (temporarily) on a no red meat, low fat, low sugar, low spice, low everything diet. A, this kind of a place diet. [Oh Sh*t, I think I may have just violated a HIPAA law] The store offers breads, coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, salads and soups, and of course, avocado toast. A no brainer for me; the closest thing that I could find to normal food, a roast beef sandwich. Add Kimchi Mustard. Not sure what that will taste like, but with kimchi it can't be too bad. My wife had the chicken broth bowl with rice and all the adds described on the menu. With her meal, a couple of thick slices of the house bread. Hold the butter, tallow or avocado oil. Doctor's order. The roast beef sandwich was an explosion of deliciousness. Tender juicy beef, pickles, a few green plant looking sprigs and that kimchi mustard. Try the kimchi mustard! An amazing unique sandwich. I could even go "a hidden gem of a sandwich." My wife's broth, mild, flavorful just right for her diet. Not as dangerously spicey as my sandwich. The bread here, is an event by itself. Order at the counter. Helpful, friendly service at the counter. If the weather is nice, like today, enjoy the patio. God, I hope none of my buddies who eat at BBD2 Diner next door saw me.

When you first arrive the place instantly stands out among the other local shops. It is big, beautiful and looks like a very classy place to eat. Upon walking in it was extremely clean, staff was busied doing their job but still friendly. And it looks like a place you can really sit down, and enjoy your meal. Now the Pastries, oh my gosh the pastries. If you're not aware of Too good to go, it is a service restaurants use to help eliminate food waste by selling orders at a discount price rather than throwing the food away. Every single thing I got from there was soft, tasty, croissants were flaky delicious, whether the food was sweet or savory it was all good. My whole family enjoyed this plentiful box of treats. This is a place I was wanting to try but it is a bit far from where I live so I hadn't yet. I will say it is definitely worth the drive and I will certainly be back again.
