Best Thai food around. I love the pad thai here and now won't go anywhere else because its not nearly as good!

Nice small place for a quick bite . Me and my husband came in during lunch and it was pretty slow , service was good , food is better then average. The Crab delight was not delightful . It should be called cream cheese puff. There was very little crab in it. However the chicken pad thai was good, moist and saucy. Also the masasum curry was good . The pork in the curry was tender not rubbery . I wish there would be bigger portion for the price . read more

Okay SO. My husband and I can't get enough of this place. It can sometimes be on the pricier side, but not outrageously so, and the food is SO GOOD, we don't mind. I originally reviewed this place following our first meal here... I gave it 5 stars then and I'd give it 5+ stars now if I could. The food is consistently delicious, quick and fresh. My husband gets the phad Thai and I prefer their red curry to the other Thai restaurants in the area. If you're a tofu person, the tofu here is always fresh (both the soft & fried varieties are great). The service is so friendly-- the owners (?) kids are often there and we enjoy watching them play and chat... They're just a kind, lovely family, always so courteous and helpful. We tried this place for the 1st time and thought that the flavors of all the dishes were very tasty. The Thai iced tea was delicious. The only thing I had a problem with was the portion sizes. You can't charge $13 for lemongrass chicken and only give a fistful of chicken. The amount of chicken was like half a chicken breast cut up. The server/host/cashier- the owner Binda she does it all and I love her service there. It feels like I'm more than welcome there- it's a nice feeling. The bathrooms are very clean and decorated as well. Now how can I not feel comfortable there =P I love love the house special noodle soup! It's my childhood favorite noodle soup. Lunch was pretty good, I ordered the number one lunch special which is red curry and Phad Thai. The curry was very good. My service was horrible. I order my food 4 stars usually and the place wasn't busy yet I had to keep asking for water. Annoying. I ordered the sticky mango rice and it was not good. Specifically the white coconut sauce poured over the sticky rice, I'm a big fan of thai food and eat it on a regular basis especially mango sticky rice and their white sauce is very blan. I told the waitress and she replies with how to eat mango sticky rice. I know how to eat it!' Lol! So just a heads up if you are a fan of mango sticky rice you might feel the same so save 7.00. Love, love, love this place! My fav! Small "hole in the wall" family owned type place. They are located on river road right next to the Mexican restaurant, subway, and value village. The pad Thai was actually not very appetizing and I couldn't figure out why, it just seemed kinda blah. Great food! Love the fact that you can get food through uber eats! The only dish that has not impressed me is the yellow curry. Was very liquidy like water and not enough coconut milk imo. I just had to sign up for yelp and review this place. It is a hidden gem to me. I worked at a thai restaurant for 2 years and it is my fave fave favorite food! I've eaten at many in the area, but happened upon this one because my daughter was in drivers ed, within the same complex. It is so yummy! I love their basil fried rice! Food was mediocre before, with the exception of one good dish that's since been removed by new owner. Waiter (new owner?) was very friendly but even that didn't help the filthy interior and downright awful food. My noodles arrived in one big gelatinous clump, the Thai sampler reeked of bad cabbage and too much fish sauce. Walked in for a quick meal and was warmly greeted by Binda, the hostess. We started talking and after a few minutes it felt like coming to a friends house for dinner! She was very friendly and the service was attentive as she always made sure I had refills on my water (which is served in a pitcher with fresh cucumber) and that I was satisfied with the food. Oh, the food :) Started with an order of fresh rolls with peanut sauce, which was beautifully displayed, and amazingly flavorful. You could tell it was made with the freshest of ingredients. For the entree', Pad Thai with Prawns-3*'s spicy and Yellow Chicken Curry with brown rice. I was so impressed with the balance of flavors and delectable shrimp and chicken cooked perfectly. However, I need to let everyone know, twice I have had a tip of more than $3.00 added to my credit card statement after leaving cash on the table WTF! I don't ever leave 1 star reviews unless it's absolutely imperative that I do so. So obviously it must've not been the best. There's a few things I know, asians are not always the best in customer service and this I don't mind because being Filipino/Japanese it's a norm. So that didn't bother me when the owner barely spoke to me or greeted me. But what bothered me is that they could serve crab delight (my fav) and it taste like mold. I swallowed through the first one thinking maybe I was wrong but after dipping the next in the sauce and just it touching my tongue I was ready to gag. I would think for a restaurant you need some form of quality control and make sure your food is fresh. My fried walnut prawns were very similar, they weren't fresh prawns... they tasted like it could've been precooked then dipped in tempura very rubbery. I heard her say over the phone that the new owners don't take over till October so maybe a change is coming this way. But I won't be around to find out. I'll drive to my regular place no matter how far that seems. read more

Seems to be mixed reviews here? I think it's important to know the difference between Loa and Thai food first. Thai is usually more flavorful and spicy. Loa is usually saltier. Kind of like me, I was going to give them 2 stars but they were very nice. So I gave them 3. I've spent well over a year + cumulatively in Thailand and enjoy eating and making Thai food. They call themselves Thai but I think it's just marketing. Sorry this wasn't authentic Thai food. It wasn't bad if you're looking for Laotian food. Nice place, nice server and food was good. I ordered family style so kept it at or below the 3 star level. At the 3 star (medium) level I ordered som tum (papaya salad) & phad kee maow (drunken noodle) both dishes in Thailand are always spicy. Needless to say these two dishes were at the 1 star level. I even spoke Thai with the server so she would realize I eat Thai spicy. Maybe she gave us the typical Lao version for furrongs (foreigner)? If you have friends or family who want to try "Thai" food but don't like spicy food? I suggest taking them here. read more
