We absolutely love this place! We have never had any issues with cleanliness, food, staff, nothin. Everything has always been wonderful. Great country fried steak...I have a hard time with gravy but its great here. I wish it was a bigger place with easier parking, but it's worth the wait read more

This is my absolute favorite restaurant near me! Everyone is so so nice and the food comes out so quick and is delicious! I would call this place my favorite breakfast spot, but their lunch options are delicious as well! The restaurant is very small and gets packed quickly on weekends and the parking is tight, but it doesn't take away from the stars I'm giving this restaurant because it is JUST THAT GOOD! I really wish the restaurant would expand so it would've be as busy and packed all the time! read more

I'm unsure why it took us so long to go in! I had a craving for pancakes so this Sunday we went around 11am. The line outside was a good indicator we made a good choice. Every breakfast dish I have tried has been excellent!!! Last weekend I tried the steak skillet by far the best breakfast skillet I have ever had definitely a most have again. Also very friendly and welcoming staff no matter how busy they are. read more

Very nice dining experience! Highly recommended. I met a friend for a late breakfast yesterday. It was my first time here. We were greeted warmly by a couple employees and seated immediately (seat yourself). We were brought good coffee right away and refills were plentiful. Lots of choices but we both had omelettes. The servings are generous and the food is tasty. After we finished up, we sat around and talked for a while and the coffee kept coming. Great place, nice people. And I'd like to mention that hardly anyone was wearing a mask. If you're sick, stay home, if not, enjoy life! Can't wait to come back for lunch. read more

Apollo diner is a local favorite. I order take out from here at least once a week, and have never left dissatisfied! Inside is a clean but very small beach themed diner that goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They have daily specials that rotate, but have a pretty expansive menu-- from your basic breakfast platter to chicken gyros you can't go wrong! My go-to breakfast is the Big Ben with strawberry pancakes and the tuna sandwich for lunch. Thank you for everything! read more

My family and I stopped in for a late breakfast. We chose Apollo Beach Diner because of all the other great reviews and were not at all disappointed. My son had chocolate chip pancakes and my daughter had the chocolate chip waffles. My wife had the biscuits and gravy and I had country fried steak, eggs and a side of biscuits and gravy. Pretty sure we won the award for healthiest breakfast ever! Okay, maybe not, but everything tasted awesome! Service was speedy and attentive despite the place being packed. Looking for a decent sit-down breakfast in Southshore? Apollo Beach Diner exemplifies the genre: great service and good food at a decent price. If you're looking for Avocado Toast and a Silk Latte, this isn't the place, but if your idea of breakfast equals biscuits, meat, potatoes and eggs you'll feel right at home. Haven't been there in about 5 years. Very happy with our breakfast today. Everything was fantastic, the home fries were cooked exactly like we like them. Staff was exceptional, friendly and they worked together! This is our go to breakfast place from now on. Will be trying lunch soon. read more

Just had lunch there with our two grandkids. Usually a good spot but this time when our 2 year old asked for more chocolate milk, we were charged an additional $2.99. Ridiculous as drinks were included for kids meals at a cost of $7.99. Come on almost $3 for a small cup of chocolate milk for a 2 year old?? Do they really need to get more money for a few ounces of milk? Poor customer service! read more

ABD is a hidden gem. I debated about posting a review because the secret would be out, but everyone deserves a little Apollo's Beach Dinner in their life. They have great breakfast, they also have lunch but we've not had it yet. The pancakes, omelets, potatoes, biscuits and gravy and the coffee are all delicious. They coffee is local although I can't remember the name of it. If you go for breakfast know there may be a wait so be patient. Don't have pictures because we really enjoy the food and time together. Not only is the food good the service is equally as good. So take a morning and have breakfast at ABD. read more

Great little place for breakfast.we have been here a few times now and it's always been good. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You may have a wait for breakfast but it's worth it.we are going to try something else next time we go maybe a burger. Overall, there's a better restaurant literally next door that's a little cheaper and I can't see coming back after such a disappointing outing.
