I randomly stumbled upon this place. I love cider. It's my jam all the way. I came for the empanadas and cider but honestly stayed for the mead. Seriously this place rules. Adorable little Meadery tucked in an industrial park. Super friendly hostess. The sampler lets you taste 6 meads for $18. Only one was disliked by our group (super sagey, tasted like medicine or straight plants). All the others were fun and fresh tasting. I only wish they sold them by the bottle... When I saw this was a mead focused brewery I was interested to try something different but wary because I don't really like mead. What I learned by coming here though, is that the mead at the Renn Faire cannot hold a candle to what the folks are creating here. My husband and I sampled everything that was on the menu and there were so many different and interesting flavors across the board. Some worked better than others but everything was fun to try. They also have a couple of ciders on offer which were great and had unique flavors. The location itself is small but lovely. The people were friendly and the space was well decorated. Our only disappointment was that they don't have bottles that you can take home with you. read more

My favorite spot for a very delicious beverage-cider, mead and jun! Their process and ingredients are well above any normal standard. You can get Jun in a growler to-go and have a a great probiotic drink at home. The atmosphere is so stinking cute... it's casual, quaint and yet very inviting. Holy moly Mead!!! This place is a gem, and I've discovered that I LOVE Mead. My friend and I shared a flight, and had such fun chatting with the owners while we did. Careful though-can be rough getting off the bar stool after a flight of mead.I'm a fan of sour beers and don't like anything hoppy-Apiary was the answer to all my palate prayers. Love this new place that sprouted up on Carp Ave. We went there for the first time last month and have been back several times bringing our friends with us. The owners are wonderful people, warm and welcoming. With beautiful hanging herbs, found wood furniture, a standing piano, and a working old-style rotary telephone, the atmosphere works as well for a fun date or a family friendly outing. They also welcomed our dog, which was a big draw. The ciders and meads themselves are the real stars of the show. The ciders range from dark and complex to light and extremely drinkable. The IPAs have a great flavor and weren't harsh even for those who don't generally like IPAs. Our friends have a fairly broad drinking preference, and everyone had a different favorite. It's worth coming in week after week because the batches are relatively small and the turnover for meads is short. We've seen the bottom of two supplies, and would be sad except that each new batch is even better than the last. read more
