I recently purchased a new Can Am Maverick and I wanted a 6310H Aluma lightweight trailer to haul it on. After contacting an Aluma dealer near me I found that, while they could order one, there was absolutely no guarantee as to when it might arrive. Beware if you buy from here and make sure you inspect what you're planning to buy! This trailer has a corner that is significantly bowed in, resulting in a gap underneath the trailer where plenty of water will get kicked in. We brought it to their attention and Josh claims that there is nothing wrong and that it would not be covered under the manufacturer warranty. They said they would not fix it and would not come down on the price, "we will just sell it to the next person" is what we are told. I purchased a new cargo trailer for a Polaris General I hadn't bought yet. When I got the General home it didn't fit in the opening of the trailer. It fit if I could magically put it inside though. With that said, I was in dire need of an open bed trailer. I did a lot of research to know I wanted an Aluma Aluminum trailer (There is no substitute, they are the best aluminum trailer). I emailed every authorized dealer in AZ and one in Las Vegas, NV, and Kayla at APC is the only one who responded the same day I sent it. I still haven't heard back from some. When she quoted me a price I kept shopping and thought I found a deal in Lake Havasu until I asked the owner if I could get the same price as the last identical trailer he sold, which was $500 cheaper. His response was, you could always pay more. Buy buy LH. Trailers are hard to come by these days, but APC seemed prepared for the shortage by ordering more than they needed before the shortage. Anyway, Kayla took care of me and was knowledgeable on the inventory and pricing. You won't find that at any other dealership, guaranteed. She helped me hook it up and got me on my way in 30 minutes. The front desk lady was very nice too! She made sure I left there without having any questions about the paperwork. We went to 10 different Trailer Sales locations in Phoenix and Tucson prior to coming to APC. Upon arrival we dealt with Wade and he proved to be knowledgeable and hard our best interests in mind. We ended up buying a 6 x 12, v-nosed enclosed trailer. We wanted a few upgrades done so we could haul a motorcycle and other toys. I cannot say ONE THING positive about Josh at APC Equipment! He is THEE worst "customer service professional" my husband and I have ever had to work with. We had to use his company as the "middle man" to order my husbands 40 foot gooseneck trailer from East Texas Trailers. It was a 3.5 month NIGHTMARE. With a $13,590 (cash) expense/purchase, I would have assumed our business would have been more valued. To note, Josh was horrible at communication, extremely vague on description, rude in his short responses, and never once apologized for a horrible experience. What's listed here is a SMALL portion of what we had to go through. We would wait days sometimes before we ever heard back from Josh. Being in Nevada and buying something in Arizona without the option to see it first, one would expect to have questions. We have documented emails where we caught him lying about the details and features of our trailer. I have countless emails that I wish I could post on here to show you how our conversations went. I will post one so you can get an idea of what a struggle you too will have if you decide to purchase anything from this company. We felt that Josh and his company not only lied to us, but that they also stole from us; as you'll see in the email I sent him, my husband's trailer was supposed to come with torsion axles as previously quoted, but low and behold once we pad our deposit, the torsion axles "disappeared" and were no longer included, however, our quote didn't go down and nothing was compensated for this "loss" AND the kicker, to spend over $13,000 on a brand new trailer, once the driver delivered it to us, he told us he was worried that he wasn't going to make it because the manufacturer neglected to completely finish the bumper and during his road trip here, the bumper fell apart; the delivery driver had to "rig it up" to safely get it here. Once in our possession, we immediately notified Josh of this major (safety) issue, and he said he would get a hold of the manufacturer and would send us a new kit with replacement parts to fix it... that was over a month ago (8/22/16 is today's date) and we're still waiting . just another one of APC's lies. There is no exception for the integrity of safety of ones life AND to have this issue over looked by the company is completely unacceptable. Here is one example of an email I had to sent to Josh... "Hi Josh, This is Travis' wife, Melissa, and I would like to follow up with yours and his conversation from this morning. As you and Travis discussed, our original quote provided by you on Tuesday May 3 2016 (attached for reference), outlines in full detail what items his custom made trailer will have and what the cost (including shipping) of this order will be. Also, your email below from Tuesday May 3, 2016 even states "I have attached a final quote of the trailer". In good faith, and to start production on Travis' trailer, Travis wire transferred $2040.00 to account number 00000042xxxxxxx routing# 12210xxxxx on May 10, 2016 in which you then provided us with a deposit receipt showing our outstanding balance is $11,555 (also attached for reference). We then receive a random email this morning, May 11 2016, reiterating our down payment deposit and our balance due which was already provided to us yesterday. The difference from yesterday's deposit receipt email to today's deposit receipt email, is that in today's email, you sent an itemized detailed list of the features of the trailer with the torsion axles now missing/not included. The original quote that you and Travis agreed to had the torsion axles included in the sales price. I personally, was very disappointed to see that you "secretly" pulled this huge detail out of the "deposit receipt" email you sent to us this morning, possibly assuming that we would "miss" this important detail or something. Since the originally agreed upon quote between my husband, you and APC Equipment and Mfg. Inc. showed the trailer coming with ALL the below features, Travis and I assume you will take full responsibility of this error and make it right to the agreed "contract"// "quote" //"promise of product sale and customer payment" and include every single item mentioned below. We are trusting you and APC Equipment and Mfg. Inc with a purchase order of $13,590 which is a lot of money for us to put out and a lot of money to you to receive. Lastly Josh, your company's "pre-amble," // "code of conduct", // "code of ethics" // "our promise to you" whatever you would like to call it, is also included below, with a few bolded highlights to show we have read what your promise is to the customers who trust in you, the company, and your products.
