Stopped by here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, it was really hot inside haha. Limited parking,…read morebut definitely doable since it's not too crazy. I was hoping they would have a Taco Tuesday special or something but they don't... I ordered 2 carne asada and 1 al pastor tacos to go. They were prettty solid and delicious! Carne asada was really nice, the al pastor was definitely more flavorful, but it had more of the burnt ends, so it was either even more flavorful from the charred parts, or it was a bit hard and too crispy to have. Overall, still pretty nice though. I liked how they had the side bar, which it doesn't look entirely the cleanest, but pretty decent. Total for 3 tacos came out to be $9, so it's about $3 each. Kinda high for tacos imo, but they're pretty good.

Taco Tuesday + Cinco de Mayo felt like the perfect excuse to grab tacos before a business meeting…read more We arrived to the area early and wanted something quick, and Tijuana Tacos was perfect for that bc the tacos came out quickly. Parking is limited, so we were happy to snag one of the last spots. This is an order-at-the-counter spot with a salsa bar, hot beans, indoor and outdoor seating, and even Mexican Coke. Indoor seating is also pretty limited, so my friend and I were glad to grab one of the small tables. I ordered the lengua and asada tacos and both were flavorful, tender, and loaded with meat. I was honestly too hungry and eager to take a picture beforehand, but I can assure you the portions are plentiful. The tacos were a little greasy, but still really satisfying. Solid taco spot if you're in Pomona.

Tacos Puro Jalisco really gave me a little taste of Jalisco. The place is beautiful and welcoming,…read morewith gorgeous Mexican murals that give it such an authentic feel. Sitting there honestly reminded me of being around my grandmother and my tías, listening to them sing in the kitchen while they cooked. It brought back some beautiful memories. Now the birria de chivo... soooo delicious! You could taste all the different spices, and I could even taste a hint of chocolate in the birria that gave it such a rich, deep flavor. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Estaba deliciosa! And the menudo was just as good! As soon as it came to the table, it looked and smelled delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful with that homemade taste that makes you keep going back for another spoonful. The look, the smell, and especially the taste were on point! We were a party of four and my kids loved it too, which is always a plus for me! I even took a little video because I wanted to capture the food and the beautiful atmosphere. The prices were very affordable, especially for the quality and amount of food we received. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and what a great host! He came over to our table to ask how our food tasted and personally thanked us for coming in. That little gesture made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Beautiful atmosphere, authentic flavors, affordable prices, great hospitality, and food that makes you feel a little closer to home. We will definitely be back! ¡Y ARRIBA JALISCO!

I really enjoyed my torta and I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. I went on a Sunday & it was packed, line out the door with beautiful brown families - I knew I was in for a treat! I also enjoyed the Yucatán peninsula feel in the decor. Come visit as soon as possible :-)

I am so in love with this little hole in the wall in Pomona - my brother first introduced it to me…read moreabout two years ago, and I just realized I never left a review. The ratings of this place definitely do not lie - everything is fresh and cooked to perfection! I tend to always get the shrimps ceviche and the shrimp tacos! The shrimp ceviche is always extremely fresh and flavorful - I'm not sure how they do it, but it is very unique compared to other ceviche spots Ive been to. The shrimp tacos are always very delicious as well. They deep fry it and the serving size is very worth it. I also love how they give you a bunch of avocado and limes on the side to pair with your food (they do not charge you extra for this). The people who work here are always extremely happy and welcoming - which makes the experience all the more worth it! 10/10 we'll definitely be back again!!

This used to be our go-to spot for tacos de camarón, so unfortunately, this time around, our…read moreexperience was disappointing. I ordered 12 tacos de camarón, and to my surprise, each taco had only a small piece of shrimp--not even half a shrimp per taco. I was really disappointed when I got home and started eating, especially because this has always been one of our favorite places. The tacos had all the other ingredients, but the shrimp, which should have been the main ingredient, was barely there. It's disappointing to see this from a place we've always enjoyed. I hope they take this feedback into consideration and improve their portions because we definitely expected better.

First time coming here and we were super impressed with the friendly service from all waitresses…read moreand waiters. We went with a super regular customer and he and they knew each other by name from all his previous visits. Rosario & Ivan stood out for me because they spent a few minutes at our table making the visit more enjoyable. The ambiance was just great! I had their Mole Chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs... OMG, the Mole was absolutely amazing! It's so hard to find a good Mole and this place was it! We also had a carne asada red burrito and steak and eggs and everyone was so happy with their choices. I also had a Mexican Coffee but I asked for light tequila because I heard they can come out strong, LOL! I definitely want to go back for those mole chilaquiles again soon!

Okay, their Mole is a must. Best we've had. Not to spicy, not to bland, not to sweet or…read moresalty...just right. They don't skimp on the meat in their tacos either (like the other places do that costs the same, or even more). I ordered online because of mobility reason and small places. They texted me as to when it would be ready and it was right on time and so freshly made we had to wait a minute when we got it home for it to cool off a bit. The only problem I had was trying to join their rewards club. They kept sending me a code, I'd put in the code and it would say invalid code. After putting in four different codes I gave up. This is the reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating.

We absolutely love this place and decided to come for our anniversary. I'll preface this by saying…read morethe food taste was amazing, like always. But some shady charges or maybe we'll call it miscommunication just rubbed me the wrong way. I always order the mole chicken enchiladas and my wife (being vegetarian) asks for the same dish but if the enchiladas can be vegetable or cheese. Apparently this means a 8$ up charge? We've done this many times in the past and always been charged the same price for both. I asked the server at the end "the veggie version is 8$ more expensive than chicken?" And he just shrugged and said yes. Just found it interesting that a meat dish would be 8$ less than a purely cheese/veggie dish. Especially since done this in the past with no issue. I also asked for "hot sauce" for my dish. They brought out a spicier house salsa as the hot sauce...totally understandable and the salsa here is usually free. Apparently it's a 4$ "chipotle sauce" that the waiter did not inform me would be charged. I would've easily just said I want tapatio or no "hot sauce". I used maybe a teaspoon for 4$. I told the waiter this when we questioned the bill and he just shrugged. These may seem like small inconveniences but when they seem like they intentionally don't tell you the details and then when called out about it just kinda shrug it off, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise tasty dinner. We love it here and will certainly be back but it just sucks that I have to be extra cautious & skeptical when ordering from now on.
