Apache Pizza has a huge presence in Dublin, and on the few occasions I've been it has been a total hit.
So now they are looking to expand in Northern Ireland, with the first of their locations opening opposite Lavery's on Bradbury Place. There is another location opening in the Clandeboye Retail Park in Bangor, but as of yet there is no word on a date.
Working in the Botanic area, if I wanted pizza I would usually go for Pizza Company on Botanic Avenue. They're cheap, quick, exactly what you need when you don't have the time to move away from your desk. Also, working in a tech company, we occasionally like to order large batches of pizzas, which we would usually go with Domino's around the corner, since they tend to be a bit better dealing with large orders.
Now that Apache is open, for any pizza lunches I'll be going there, as well as recommending my company orders from there. Seriously, get yourself a regular base with the caribbean sauce (it's really, really good), some chillis, some pineapple, some chicken... Whatever is in their pizza dough is so addictive. read more
