Owner is a jerk. Narcissist and has a god complex where he believes he is always right. Not reliable when scheduling appointments on Sundays. Wish I read reviews before using APA, they are all accurate. Buyer beware, go elsewhere!! Also quoted one price only to change the price. Charges a 3 percent credit card processing fee on debit cards which is wrong. Doesn't listen, just wants your money. My boy Tony is genuinely not a nice person. Made me wait outside (even though there is a lobby)... VERY goofy, any questions I had I was cut off and met with a rude a snarky rebuttal or sarcastic remark... SUPER unprofessional. There is another customer with a 1 star review and we had a similar issue, and when I disputed the issue with my bank, APA gave my bank the other customer's issues/dispute claim and confused me with the other customer. Pointing out the pattern of issues and in lack of professionalism AND all during the same time frame. Like the other customer, Anthony did not resolve my issue and refused to refund my money, and was unprofessional. I used yelp to send quotes to ask several mechanics who could fix a particular issue with my car, APA RESPONDED. So that means he felt he could do this job, but ultimately he didn't know how to fix the issue and as soon as I drove off the lot the issue came back. I called him while driving off to make him aware. My ac/radio were malfunctioning and turning on and off simultaneously. Long story short he charged me a deposit for a take out radio and kept putting off doing the actual work for weeks, breaking set appointments. My issue also involved the AC so for weeks I was in the hot Arizona heat suffering with no air, my issue held hostage by the mechanic holding my deposit and delaying the work. Unprofessional and texts screenshot can be provided if he refutes this. He claimed he was ordering a takeout radio to replace but I've since taken my car apart and saw that it is in fact the same radio, he simply cut the white wire...the first strategy that pops up when you search online what to do with this issue... Again, as soon as I drove off the lot, the radio and air began to power on and off, original issue, no improvement. I took the car back into him to resolve and he ends up discussing my clutch and charges me another deposit to fix that issue. -so what about the radio? I felt like he was just feeling in the dark for solutions at this point and I was not confident in his ability to fix the issue. For reasons stated above, I no longer wished to work with him or waste any more money or time on someone so unreliable and unprofessional and at this point unable to resolve the issue (at my expense) -again, he responded to my mass message and took the job. I asked for my money back and he told me he can't work for free. WHY SHOULD I PAY YOU IF YOU NOT ONLY COULDN'T RESOLVE THE ISSUE BUT DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO FIX IT? No, my money was never reversed, he still got paid for wasting weeks of my time and not resolving the issue. He reported false information to my bank, claiming I was the customer who left for the Philippines (see previous reviews for APA). So there are at least 2 customers who have had a similar issue with this guy, notice a pattern. I'm not looking forward to APA covering their tracks and disputing any of my claim on Yelp. This guy is the most disrespectful, unprofessional loser I've ever met in my life. Contacted him to remove my interlock yesterday and when he answered the phone it was no professional greeting. I asked him if he had time to remove it so that i could call intoxalock and have them send over the work order. he told me to call interlock to get it scheduled with an attitude which i was doing in the first place. Next day (Today) i show up for my appointment and he answers the door with can i help you, with a monstrous tone. I said is this Arizona pure auto ? He said yea.. and waited till i said i had an appt. i told him his tone was strong. He began to tell me that i started it, and I'm continuing it, saying i answered rude. I asked him multiple times why is he yelling at me, why does he feel like it's okay to talk to people this way, he then told me do you want the service or not? I said yes, but your attitude dude is crazy. He then told me to get the fuck out his shop. HIS EXACT WORDS. I walked out and slammed the door. It's not even a real shop it's in a shopping center. As an Uber driver, I drop off people and their luggage at Sky Harbor often at night and early morning. It's scary how close drivers will pass my car while I'm stopped in the drop off lanes. To increase safety for my passengers and car, I asked APA to put some reflective tape inside my doors. I wanted approaching cars to clearly see the door is opening. After discussion, they recommended strips of red LED's on the inside base of each door. Installation looks nice like a custom addition. Lights are real attention magnets which is what I wanted. They also cast a red glow on the ground to make entry and exit a little clearer. Thanks for a nice professional solution to my very general request. read more

This guy, Tony took my money and does not want to return it. I ordered some parts from him and paid over the phone with my credit cards. I made 2 seprate transactions. The day I was supposed to pick up the parts, he said that he did not receive the payments and that I cancelled them! I told him that I didnt cancel it. He kept insisting that I did. So finally, this deal was looking shady so I FINALLY CANCELLED IT. Then he gives me a call then apologizes that he made a mistake. But for me, I didnt wanna deal with him anymore. Now, he doesnt want to refund/return my money. Citibank is trying to reach him for my dispute and now he doesn't want to answer. And look at his reply. Such a rude bastard!! Would not get work done here even if it were free. This place is a joke. Unbelievably rude service from the owner himself. Came here because it was the only opening I could find day of, needing repairs. He showed me the door while I was trying to hand him my credit card and made me feel like an idiot for not knowing how to fix my car myself. Couldnt even explain what was done to my car afterwards and said "good luck" and walked off. Wtf. Hundreds of dollars and no reassurance that the job was even done. Hope it works out! 5 hours ago Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value Owner was rude, not professional on call and when servicing my device there is technical issues that was causing the device to register as unauthorized starts where there was still a timer I asked to be inspected and hel preached it was a user error when intoxalot stated that I started my car correctly within the time frame. Threaten to call the police on me when I said I didn't want him in my car cursed at me using profanities and wasn't professional. I do not recommend using this buisness the dude is arrogant and clearly doesn't empthaize with a frustrated customer. I was in the dys prior getting my calibration done and for the device be malfunctions to be yelled at saying it's a user error when intoxalot std it wasn't and to be told hell call the police on me after be calm with him and explaining my situation of what I saw and what was happening to be told I was wrong. 10/10 do not recommend this spot. I also wrote this while in the parking lot just to have my device go off for another unauthorized after he stormed off and didn't wait for it to happen so I've been in contact with intoxalot to get my device looked at. He literally stormed off when he should of waited after verbally saying he'll call the cops if he csnt just plug the thing in then stated he needed to see if it worked then once tested and stormed off and the device went off with the same error I came with and I came in yesterday for calibration and he should off looked at the relay and other device aspects. So now I'm in a lock out again cause he wanted to have a temper tantrum. Note I hadn't moved my car from his shop and waited and it dud the same thing the same issue I came into get looked at in which he didn't. Genuinely super nice and does everything quick and easy he's also driven to my house to get me out of a lockout and was really nice about that to. This hidden gem of a shop went over and above my expectations. It's a father/son duo just looking to make a living doing what they love! I actually stumbled on them one day looking for a different recommended auto body shop to get a quote for fixing my dented Kia Soul hood. The original commercial shop was already closed for the day so I kept looking for something close by. Tony was super welcoming, his shop is meticulously clean and I appreciated the honest advice and timely communication he provided. He was more than happy to replace and paint the hood to match for a much lower cost than most of the commercialized auto body shops out there. I got better customer service, work and communication than any other shop I've been to. Happy to have found someone I can trust to work on our cars as needed without nickeling and diming us along the way. Magic! It is rare to find real honesty in a "car repair" business. It is beyond remarkable to find people willing to do everything they they could for you. It is not about the money for them. And completely amazing in what they did for me. I went to them for some pinstripes to give some life to my family sedan. (Great Job), but then in talking with me they found that my back and neck problems can make driving difficult. They suggested a seat pad that really takes some of the bumps out of the ride and got it for me at cost. I then talked with them about "softening" the ride, which was something my dealership flatly told me was impossible. They made some changes to the suspension system that sacrifice a bit of handling for a much easier ride. I had no idea this was possible. Today's lighter cars do not ride like the "metal sofas" of my distant youth. But APA was able to help a great deal with that problem. It makes a big difference in my ability to do my normal driving. I was hardly home before the phone rang. It was APA wanting to know if I liked it, if it "worked" for me. These are the people to see if you have any need, or think you have any need of "car customizing" No hesitation for me to click the 5 star rating. read more
